      Bought an ice maker 200$.Did some research on it once I had it and it must be at least 4 years old. It said open box but this thing was so old they must have picked it up from a junk yard. Pictures are misleading and not the real once so no chance of inspecting online.Waiting to get a refund.If you want to inspect on premise they wont allow to plug it in there.Never again

      Purchased a Mobile AC unit Midea, picked it up at the location went home unpacked it everything was there and in good condition except for the box. Plugged in and ran for 10 minutes and started flashing P1 . Looked up error code and reset unit still flashing P1 found out that it has a faulty circuit board. So Im wondering how many times this unit was returned and auctioned off? So when I return this unit will I get a refund or another faulty unit ? Since they already took out for the buyers assurance. Since customer service isnt returning my calls.

This was also the customer's very first purchase on record as well as the item's first listing on record. This item also qualified for the free ***************** promotion. This would ***** the customer 5 business days from the date of pickup to return the item. If the item is not returned within that time frame, any return is at the discretion of a manager on duty in a warehouse. This customer call in to customer service twice on July 9th around 3:45 pm and customer service returned his call at ******. This is according to the phone number we have on file for the customer.       Won auction and was logged out and said invalid email address, its a total scam they are running on these auctions, they dont like the price they have server errors and log you out, I wasnt born yesterday, waste of time and they usually carry broken junk.

On the evening of 07/07/2024, Mac.Bid did experience a very much higher than expected traffic to our app and website.       We do try and provide the best customer service possible within the bounds of our terms and conditions. Our Washington location is assisted removal on the * side of the warehouse. We do this to ensure our customers are getting the correct item. This also helps mitigate the risk of theft. Thank you.

      I am a new customer. I went to three locations in three days:) ****** site had mad a mistake with a listing. I had won on a bid for 500 dollars and I had purchased insurance. They refunded me the entire amount to include insurance. Staff at all sites are friendly and helpful!! Plus the deals!!

      After my first purchase with Mac Bids, I won't be buying again from them. Invoice of discounts is very misleading and not explained well. Called customer service only to be unpleasantly greeted by a guy who sounded like I didn't know what I was talking about and didn't want to listen. He couldn't even add up all my totals to get my final price. He said I was undercharged $30 and I asked where that came from. Then I got 2 different totals from him. He was full of excuses when I asked questions and as a first time customer, makes me feel uneasy about my purchases.

      The scenario this customer is referencing is a new promotion Mac.Bid rolled out where new customers received free ***************** on their first three purchases ever. The *****************, for his first three items, was subtracted from the original total from his invoice. The invoice starts out being totaled with the cost of *****'s Assurance and then the cost of the assurance is subtracted as a discount. Although it might be a long winded way to do this, it is still providing a free return, within 5 business days from the date of pickup, for his first three purchases ever. After reviewing his invoice, everything was discounted correctly.       Received an email out of nowhere that stated that my account was canceled due to a chargeback. I hadn't purchased anything in over 8 months. Come to find out that an account was linked to mine and the person's name was *****, that's all the info that they could give me. I spoke to customer service multiple times, including a manager, and all they said pretty much was that's the way it is. I used the site frequently to bid but hadn't won anything in a while. Clearly my account was hacked but they did nothing for me at all. All they could say was that another account was linked, I asked them to just cancel that one then, and the manager said that wasn't the way it worked and mine was going to be canceled too. He stated their terms say that they can cancel any time, but the manager didn't care about fixing the issue or giving me a reason why besides that info. They do not care at all. I've never heard of a business doing this. If my account is hacked or linked to someone that *** be a hacker on another site, I am given more info before anything happens. Not with MacBid. I asked the two people I spoke with to explain how it was fair, and they couldn't at all. I have purchased multiple items in the past and paid and picked up quickly. This company is very unhelpful and doesn't care about losing a paying customer. Sounds very shady to me. This is a warning to other customers, please do not use MacBid at all.

      After review of this situation, the customer is embellishing on a few things here. First, our frau department found no evidence of any suspicious activity going on with this person's account. What had happened was this customer's account was linked to another account that submitted a chargeback. Links to do not signal fraudulent activity, they signal that the accounts are related in one way or multiple ways. Due to privacy and security reasons, customer service is not privy to how those links are made. The decision to suspend this customer's account was a final one from our accounting department. Every customer agrees to this when they register to bid with us. I will cite that policy point for reference.2.3. Exclusion of ***************** or Amendment of Bids - Without limitation to any other remedies, MAC.BID may exclude any User from any Auction and block any registration if the User has breached or threatens to breach these Terms and Conditions or engages in any behavior which MAC.BID in its sole discretion regards as likely to have an adverse effect on the conduct of the Auction or the reputation of MAC.BID. Furthermore, MAC.BID reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to exclude products from offers and refuse acceptances, bids or offers, as well as to discontinue Auctions or its Services altogether at any time or for any reason.

      The guy who run the Washington big box part is awesome! I won a futon and once they got it outside for me I opened it so I could fit it in my car only to find out in was an office chair in the box not a futon. The guy who I guess is the manager came right over and scanned it and returned it for me and I didn't have the insurance or anything. I thought that was very nice. I usually have good luck with home furnishings form *** at Washington. They do a great job at that location.
