I would say 0 If that was an option. I bid and won an electric kettle just to have it cracked to the point that all the water leaked out. Totally wasnt useable. The picture on the site did not show this. Went in the trash! I dont care if you want to sell stuff thats returned for whatever reason, but knowing that this item was not going to be usable, thats just plan wrong!M@C Discount

Hi, there are quite a few refunds that I have not received. I was charged a buyer assurance of 7$ at least 7 times which was advertised as free. 2nd I returned a trash can for almost 100$ because it was labeled mbiliion but inside the box was simple human. 3rd I was told I was getting a refund for greenworks mower and another greenworks item from rock hill, nc. And most importantly I purchased a roomba vacuum and a never change shark air purifier and both were non functional.M@C Discount

In regards to the refund issue at hand:The time between a refund request and receiving the refund is dependent on the credit card processor. Once MAC.BID submits the request, the amount of time it takes to process is beyond our control. The credit card processor has direct control over how long this process may take. I was very upset with the actions taken as far as "Abandoned" items won on Macbid. I was called out of town on business for a 2 week period and although I am a premier club member, I was unable to get to my items (Most of which were transfered......which Macbid does need to work on being far more expedient with transfers). The Assistant General Manager for your Rock Hill location ******** (I will admit i was obnoxious to) stepped in and saved you guys from losing me as a customer by simply saying, My hands are tied as far as the Abandoned items but you have 5 returns on your membership. We can get .ost of your money back through returns. Long and short she really helped and turned a negative situation into a positive. I admit I was upset at the beginning but she handled it like a pro. Kudos to your staff and particularly ********. You kept me as a customer........by the way I have spent about $25,000 over the last year with Macbid. Best Regards, ** ******M@C Discount

They would just need the barcode associated with the emailed invoice and their photo ID. Any items that are already on a transfer or a hold are not eligible for an additional hold. Garbage. I know you’re agreeing to take a chance when bidding on their garbage merchandise but we’ve bought two steam cleaners in as many weeks. The first one broke and severely burned my palm and the second one won’t even turn on. I’ve also purchased a Brita pitcher “like new” that was shattered into 10,000 pieces, as well as a “like new” area rug that was absolutely covered in stains and dried on food. I won’t give these grifters another penny, they should be ashamed.M@C Discount

Only bidded and won item and that was enough to make me never do it again. Thought I bidded on a piano bench with storage. No it was a cheap seat, no storage underneath and a note someone left inside stating they returned because it's unlevel. Piece of junk. Never again.M@C Discount

When Mac.bids first opened in Gastonia, we were getting high quality items for a great price. The past two months ever order I have made has had damaged items. Mac bids used to inspect items take pictures and upload if damaged. I purchased a coffee table and a tv stand both damaged to the point it should be taken to the dump. Spending over $100 and having to haul these heavy items back for returns sucks. You can no longer buy with confidence from here. I love how they say in the auto reply to inspect before bidding, this is not allowed at this location it’s pickup only. And impossible to inspect at the warehouse itself. I would rather pay full price than deal with this. Once I return these two items, I will be deleting the app.M@C Discount

The only item that is the exceptions to that is any Like New condition code item that appears to be factory sealed. Here are the terms for our Like New condition code.2.10.1 Like New - These are items that appear to be in a new condition or have never been used previously. These items are not tested for functionality or completeness. For items that are marked Like New a bidder must examine the item thoroughly when claiming (pick-up) the item. If the item does not appear new or unused or if there is an issue, the bidder MUST report this to MAC prior to leaving the premises. Once the bidder has left the premises with the item, MAC cannot issue any refund for issues arising with the item. MAC may offer credit on future purchases for all Like New items with discovered defects, not including buyer remorse.If a customer ever has any questions or concerns, they are always able to reach out to our customer service department. **************** is available Monday through Friday 10am-6pm EST. I have bought many items off of their site. Some good, some junk. Thats neither here or there, you take a risk when bidding on an auction I get that. My complaint is I paid to have an item transferred and I never received the email stating it was delivered to area closer to me. So I missed the pick up window apparently. I called into customer service just to see if there was anything I could do. After putting me on hold they came back and said oh your account is now permanently banned because we thInk we are linked to another suspended account even though i only have one account, never did anything suspicious and somehow their fraud department thinks im linked to someone elses account? And they said they no longer want to do business with me. So you are okay to sell complete broken junk to people but somehow my account is randomly linked to someone? Makes zero sense. Then they proceeded to tell me when you sign up for an account so much more information about your life is given to them that we dont even know about and they dont advertise. That scares the crap out of me, what information are you taking from us? Like I said I have used them multiple times, but after hearing that from their representatives that they are stealing information from us, people please be aware. I also think someone needs to look in house about them jacking up bids themselves. Whats to stop them from having computers set up and just up bidding items to get to a price they want it to be? I used to get crazyyyyyy discounts on items, now on completely obscure items there just has to be some one out of the blue running it up. Its gotten way too fishy.M@C Discount

Our accounting department had made multiple links to another account that was associated with the account in question. That account had been suspended for violating our terms of use. Because of this, this customer's account was suspended as well. When we suspend accounts we block everything up so information stays secure.All of the bids on our regular auctions start at just $1. We always reject the notion we have a person and a system that runs up the bids. Our customers determine the final bid price of any particular item. Employees do bid on auctions as well, but they are always subject to the same rules as regular customers. Thank you.
