I have paid my loan off with Flagship credit. I called them after I had made a final payment to verify that: they had the updated mailing address, the timeline for receiving my title and to verify the final payment amount up to that date. I was assured that everything was updated and correct, the representative told me it would take 28-30 days to receive my title. It has been over a month now and the only thing they mailed me was a purchase agreement from my original leinholder when Flagship credit bought my account. No title, no reply to several emails and the only phone number available you cannot reach a live person without and active account. Since my account has been paid off it doesn’t recognize my account number and just restarts the same recording with menu options. After attempting all the choices, I’m still unable to speak to a live person. I’ve read many consumer complaints about this company and would never have chosen them had I been offered a choice before they purchased my account. They are absolutely horrible, every person I have spoken with over the last 3 years have given me different information about things I’ve asked about. Doesn’t seem organized at all or that could be on purpose so people just give up. I paid my loan, I want my title. I fulfilled my financial obligation, was never late, and usually paid a week before my loan payment was even due. This is beyond ridiculous and this company should be fined and out of of business. This is clearly fraud as they have taken my money these past 3 years and when I’m paid off refuse to send me a title to my property.Business Response

ACCOUNT NAME: ACCT#******* Consumer Reporting Agencies have assumed a vital role and have a responsibility to report Consumer information to the best of their ability with maximum accuracy. I contacted Flagship Credit Acceptance and asked for them to investigate & remove the inaccurate account from my consumer report that they are illegally reporting and I requested specifically the alleged original application bearing my signature and they have not been able to provide such proof to me. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and these disputed items may not appear on my credit report if they can't be verified by any evidence or proof.Business Response

I called Flagship Credit on 6/14/23 and ask for due date payment change to the 5th of the month. Presently the payment is due on the 20th. I was told by the representative that I did qualify for a payment date change, and was approved by a supervisor. Following week goes by no change made, then started receiving calls stating my loan payment is past due, in which was told this would not happen. That I called in advance prioe to my due date for it to be changed. Each week I call another story it will be taken care of, yet still receive calls that its late, in which this now could put a negative on my credit, and no one with the company correcting it, just empty words it would be handled. Account # ***************** I challenged the accuracy, compliance, validation and reportability of this listing. Please validate and provide method of validation to investigate this account with FLAGSHIP CREDIT ACCEPTANCE and ask them to provide me with the validation associated with this account. I will also like to request the account number because on each report it shows differently. Another request I noticed is that every month the company keeps reporting it as a Charge off(CO) which is resetting the account activity and re-setting the delinquency date creating different last activity dates on each report. After an account is charged off it is a dead account and no interest or activity should be completed on the account. Each credit report is showing a different last activity date which I attached in the complaint below. Lastly, I also noticed the difference in term duration on the loan for each report which I also attached below. In the absence of any such documentation, I formally requested that this information be immediately deleted from the credit file they maintain under my Social Security number. I requested validation, made pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I further reminded that they may be liable for your willful non- compliance, as per FCRA 623(a)(3) - Responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies [15 U.S.C. 1681S-2].Business Response

Flagship Credit Acceptance has not allowed me to pull up my information on their website as their portal is not working. This is the 2nd month that the portal has not been working leaving the customer unable to see their account or manage it. Last month on May 31st I was told that the portal was being switched over. This has been an ongoing problem with Flagship credit acceptance for years. I have been paying my car note payment on time and they make this nearly impossible. I call to make payments by phone when I contact a representative they give me an entire script of the incorrect information stating that I need to pay more money than what my car payment of $542.65 is. I can’t pay online and now by automatic phone either, because if you don’t pay what they want you to pay which is more money you can’t make your actual monthly payment. I am so stressed out from this company. My payoff balance is always at a different amount, they also have allowed my information to be breached. I have made this same statement before and there hasn’t been any resolutions to the situation. My account number was changed and I didn’t know that until I checked their website to try to make a payment because as I stated before it is extremely stressful speaking to a representative. I am rejecting this response because: They only provided documentation of when I got the car, stating that adjustments were made and clearly as seen on the document that I provided those are occurring and current late fees being applied to my account monthly. They never responded to the initial complaint I made showing money orders that were mailed in proving that I made payments that they stated I didn’t make. Yes, I said ongoing problem for years three days after the dealership applied to this company for me as a loan application they were calling me multiple times a day and late hours of the day. The car note wasn’t due three days after receiving the car, I asked that my banking information not be stored that was never changed also stated before when I speak with many representatives concerning this issue and all I receive is a script with no resolution. It’s stressful dealing with this company.

I only mailed those payments in because your online portal, or automatic phone payment system would not allow me to make my original payment of $542.65. If I wasn’t making a payment of more money of whichever amount that’s chosen that month. On this last payment that I made as of July,25,2023, your payment portal was giving issues as usual and didn’t provide me with a confirmation number or that my payment was even made, however upon checking my account the money was withdrawn. I’ve also asked many of your representatives that I’ve spoken with to remove my Card information that you all stated that isn’t stored in your system to be removed, yet it’s still there. At first you all stated I was missing payments, now you’re stating that up until October of 2020 my payments were on time, after that you all stated that I have constantly been sending them late. That doesn’t make since to me, and looking at those dates if my payments are due on the 25th of the month and I pay on the 28th how much late fees occur after three days? I know I’ve read that you all have a grace period. Aside of me making my payments, what would you all like me to provide that I haven’t provided to fix this issue. I have constantly provided you with information and copies of payments that have been and that’s being made. Please adjust my account accurately and up to date and allow me to make the payments of the amount stated for monthly. I am not trying to be difficult, but you all haven’t been fair at all.

I was diagnosed with a life threatening cancer in the line of duty of the ******** honorably disabled. Since my diagnosis I’ve suffered financial hardship, & loss of employment due to severity of my cancer disability. Upon 07/14/2021, my creditor involuntarily repossessed, & sold my vehicle blemishing my credibility, also disabling my ability to acquire fair lending for any purpose. My auto loan is through Flagship Credit Acceptance LLC and its impossible to get through to any customer service agents on the phone nor will they return any calls or email. I have paid off my auto loan nearly a month ago and have not received any communication from them regarding if payment was received, when they will send me title and if loan is reflecting pay off to then reflect on my credit. This is absolutely ridiculous. When I call it goes through an automated recording either asking for ssn or account number to verify account and when I put both in the automated recording states that I do not have an account with them and there are no other options to click to speak to a representative. It's like they took my money and ran. After reading 406 1 star reviews on ****** it seems like many others are having the same issues with this company and all going unresolved.Business Response

So I purchased the vehicle and have I fell on hard times paid the vehicle up to be current which comes out to $8,500 right I was up current on my last payment my vehicle got totaled this company was contacted by the insurance company stating that the vehicle is totaled that we will be figuring out processing to pay it off they're notified before my most recent payment of 620 was due and continued to keep it open it is accruing interest for late charges etc I called them today they refused to put it on pull pause pause acknowledge that they did get contacted by the insurance company the payoff amount is $26325 they're getting $23586 form extended warranty and check from insurance loan original amount was. For 27582 all I want to resolve this is them to except payment from insurance and dealership and call it a day remove derogatory marks from my credit and part ways . website never works phone calls to them are a joke as well this company should really be removed and or Bard from businessBusiness Response

So we are here again the check was sent out to them from the insurance company Texas location to their Texas office its way over the 10 day process called ******** check was never cashed alstate cancelled check then over night sent the check and haven't heard from them mean while the check should have been deposited in flagships account the 20th of last month the latest who is to blame at this point for interest etc I should not be penilized or anything from this I just want this to be done so I can move on 22,598 .00 check was just sitting where ? ******** and my self have contacted them multiple times about this situation and get told we don't see we received it etc this is getting very frustrating and the website never works ...but best believe I don't make a payment they will call and call or if I call it's your this that would you like to make a payment but if I ask about if they got the payment when they should have and my payment where current at the time I have the screen shots I was at 0 balance owed so let's figure this out thank youBusiness Response
