On December 22,Flagship violated there policy by accepting a forged credit application without communicating with me the customer.They spoke with the salesman at the car dealership and agreed to up the payment and price of the vehicle without my knowledge.This needs to be corrected.Business Response

I paid the balance of a vehicle on 12/1/2022 and the representative verified my mailing address for the title to be sent. The address I provided is my current one on file with the company and I know they have it as I have received mail from the company as well as I have to verify it anytime I call. The title was sent to another address on 1/6/2023 based on information provided by the company's rep. I asked them to reissue the title to the correct address and they stated they are unable to, and they would send me a lien release and I would then have to fill out more paperwork and go to the DMV and request a replacement. I'm expecting Flagship to rectify their error and resend the title. Now my title is in the hands of another party due to Flagship and I have to spend time going to DMV. What was the point in verifying the address info for the title to be shipped if you were just going to send it to another address?Business Response

I have been contacting Flagship Credit in reference to an amortization schedule for my car loan. I would like to know on a monthly basis how much of my car payment goes to interest and how much goes to principal. All I am able to see on the website is that the payment was posted (and that is not enough info). Is there some type of Truth in Lending Law that says finance companies should be showing how a customer's monthly payment is broken down by principal and interest. I have also been trying to make a payment on just the principal, but because there are no breakdowns on the website for my account at all, not even sure where my payments are being posted.Business Response

My care was paid off 2 weeks ago and they are giving me the run around on my refund. They are telling me 90 business days. They also told me to cancel my warranty service, which expired in August. I didn't even know I had that service. I have made all my payments, on time and paid it off, 33 months early. It has been two weeks. I am extremely upset with this company and would not recommend them to anyone. I need my money now. Can I charge them interest for holding on to my money?Business Response

It is incredible this company is still in business, read their responses, it is the same one over and over, it proves they don't even bother to review the complaints, I bet my response will be the same too, why even bother? I traded my car in and the dealership took care of the paid off payment, but I just got a letter from Flagship saying they refuse to accept the payment and made me a counter offer, what is that even mean and haven't I been ripped off enough?Business Response

I noticed I had late payments from FLAGSHIP CREDIT ACCEPT on my credit report. During these months I did not receive anything stating I was late. As you can see, majority of my payments have been on time so I am requesting the removal of these late payments from my account. I am trying to increase my score to purchase a home and would greatly appreciate if you guys can submit a request to the credit reporting agencies to remove the late payments.Business Response

This is the second complaint filed thru the BBB in regards to be mislead by multiple reps. In November of 2022 I logged into to make my payment and I noticed it said balance due immediately (i.e. ~$6,500). I called Flagship after hours and reached a call center out of country. They explained it was because my loan had matured with a balance due do to payment deferrals. I requested the deferrals due to my son having leukemia and having to be on FMLA/LOA more than once. The first BBB complaint was around my last deferral request. Regardless, I understood and asked what my options were. They said there were none. I even asked to speak with a manager who advised the same thing. They said if it is was not paid in full ASAP, my credit would be mark as derogatory and my car would be repoed. In retrospect and being in finance myself, I wanted to make another call during hours and see if there was anything I could work out. I spoke with 2 reps and 2 manager (i.e. 4 reps) both of whom said the previous convo was inaccurate. They advised that I had 120days to pay it in full to avoid negative reporting and the repo. Since then, I have been driving for Amazon after work trying to get this paid off and even talked to a bank about a refi. Today, I was informed by a bank after being approved that Flagship reported me delinquent even though I have made payments every month and my credit dropped 100 points and they had to deny me. Obviously furious, I called Flagship asked to speak with a manager that told me the info I was given was inaccurate and that nothing could be done. He showed no care for my situation nor any empathy whatsoever. How could 4 other reps be so off? I did all of what was expected of me to find out I was screwed. He said that the loan would be charged off at the 120day and that the car would be repoed. That is 60days away. I have never missed a payment one time over the 7years and to be treated like this, lied to and now face repo is beyond comprehension.Business Response

I purchased a car through Flagship Credit I later had it refinanced through **** *******. Flagship Credit is way beyond the time limit to send out the title so now I can turn the lien holder over to **** ******* and it still has not been done I'm almost at the 60 days to make the change or I can be held at fault I've called Flagship for weeks begging for the information and all I get is the run around.Business Response

I pay off my current car loan with Flagship on 23rd of November, after that day on 11/28 I called to request a Pay in Full Letter I was told I need to wait at least 10 days to requested. After waiting the 10 days I call again and been transfer from one person to another even escalated to a supervisor or manager saying the pay in full letter has been sent which i never received since then I'm still calling and no one seems to have a genuine interest to help.I need help please I don't know where to go i feel neglected by this institution I have my rights since I paid in full to request my Pay in Full Letter.I'm not going to stop until they send me my request I will look for legal assistance if is necessary to resolve this issue. Now after I finally received and submitted to the Gap coverage company *** I call *** yesterday to make sure they received the letter and they notify me that they sent the refund( Check) to Flagship back on December they have the copy plus they already cashed. I contacted flagship yesterday and they keep saying they haven't received anything. I been back and forward with both companies without any resolution. I have the right to received my refund back since i pay my loan coverage for 2 years is not fear that they just leave me without any solutionBusiness Response
