      Electric bike was purchased on 5/13/23 picked up 5/14/23 unable to buy protection plan online the store made the decision to return the bike and put the money onto gift cards and repurchase the bike with protection plan with the gift cards. Bike was taken home and brought back to store because the battery was broken they kept the bike and the manufacturer refused to repair it or replace. I asked for a refund. The store refunded to debit card even though the bike was repurchased with gift cards. I never received the refund on my debit card. Corporate advised for me to dispute claim with bank. Bank refused to proceed with claim because the bike was repurchased with gift cards. Dicks corporate keeps saying the refunded the money to debit cards but bank has no record of refund. Dicks sporting goods refuses to keep looking forward and will not return my money or replace my product. They have kept my money and item

      Good morning BBB, we have reached out to Ms. ***** on 9/6/23 to provide additional details on this refund. I have researched the transactions provided by Ms. ***** and have provided a timeline of events in chronological order below indicating the most recent transaction where a full refund of $942.98 was refunded to a visa card ending in **** on 6/16/23. We have provided Ms. ***** the Acquirer Reference Number for this credit and since it was successfully processed by Dicks Sporting Goods, we recommend that Ms. ***** work with her financial Institution to have those funds released moving forward by supplying them with the Acquirer Reference Number that was provided.

      Reference Number below for this refund since this refund was successful on our
      end so you can call the number on the back of your card and provide this number
      to them to assist in locating this refund moving forward. The ARN number is: *********************** and this refund was funded on 6/17/23. In this event since we can confirm the
      refund was successfully credited, I would recommend working with your bank that
      is associated with the visa card ending in **** so they can assist you with
      releasing the funds since this was successfully credited by Dicks Sporting

      Hello,

      I went to the store to exchange my shoes for a different size (Order #***********). But they didn't have the shoes in stock. So they said they can refund me and just put it on a gift card so I can place an order online for the different size. Issue is that I used a $20 scorecard rewards on the original order and a $20 off coupon, so there is a total of $40 that I did not receive in the refund. They said I would have to reach out to customer service to get the original discounted price ($40 discount because of the coupon and scorecard rewards) honored for the new order with the different size. So I reached out and chatted with Malicia a few hours ago, and she completely did not understand the situation and she gave me a promo code that didn't work. When I told her it didn't work, she said "the promo code was already redeemed." How could I have redeemed a code within 10 seconds of her giving it to me? Then she said she is not allowed to fix the issue. All in all, I have not been able to place my replacement order yet.

      On 7/20/2023, I purchased a kayak from Dick's. I was asked to join Scorecard to earn cash back. This started an absolute landslide of spam advertisements from Dick's. I opted out of everything immediately on the website. I also attempted to use the opt-out link in the emails, but every one of them was a broken link. I had to call to delete my account in the hopes that the mailing would stop, which in itself is ridiculous because there is no way to even do THAT online! I am STILL getting inundated. To date, I can find absolutely no effective way to unsubscribe from this garbage.

      This is a direct violation of the CAN-SPAM act. I want this stopped immediately. I am also filing a complaint with the FTC. What a vile and disgusting way to run an advertisement campaign! I don't even want an apology as it would only add insult to the fact that I have been ignored up to now.

      Ordered 2 pair of sandals from Dickssportinggoods-us with my credit card and address. Cost was $36.98 plus $3.00 fee for money conversion. My order was shipped to some address in Hawaii so I did not receive the product. I emailed them several times about this problem and they would not resolve the issue. I am looking for either the product ordered or a refund. I believe this is a scam that was advertised on Facebook.

      Unfortunately, this athlete's information did not validate in our system as the phone number did not link to the name provided on the online order and the email address provided was a new email address not used before online. I also attempted to call Mr. *****, and the recipient stated it was not him and disconnected the call on 8/21/23. This athlete reached out to Dicks Sporting Goods on 6 separate occasions and was informed that they would have to work with either their banking institution or submit a claim with Fedex delivery services since we have photo confirmation of this delivery being delivered on 8/16/23 under Fedex tracking number: ************. For these reasons, we unfortunately are not able to provide a refund for this order and advise the athlete to work with their bank and fedex services moving forward.

      Dick's sent be a damaged (used) item that was torn and scuffed. They asked me to return the item which I was happy to do. I informed them I'd place the item on my porch with label for pickup. They would not schedule this. Then after chat was ended, they sent me an email informing me that en email would come directly from FedEx with my label. So they gave FedEx my email address and then included my personal phone number on the notes!!!! I NEVER gave permission for Dick's to share my email or phone number with FedEx. Absolutely absurd and infuriating.

      I saw a beach chair on display in between several bins/racks full of beach chairs. The sign said clearance 50% off. I waited until I got paid and returned today to purchase. I wanted the display because I liked to color compared to chairs in bins. I took to register only to be told that chair, the display was not on sale. All other chairs were. Part of clearance, but the one I grabbed. They agreed it was confusing, but would not offer any discount. I’m attaching my receipt and pictures. I will show you on pics where the chair I bought was. I feel this was deceptive and any reasonable customer would have assumed this chair was part of clearance.

      Contacted customer service to fix an issue with the website keeping me from purchasing a product. Full conversation is attached.

      Problem was when I went to purchase the product and have it shipped to the store, after paypal checkout it kept defaulting to ship it to home which was an extra 220 dollars! They insisted this was a paypal issue, i provided screenshots showing that paypal in fact was showing the correct ship to store address (and paypal also showed that the address was provided by dicks and could not be changed). The representitive then instead of trying to fix the problem says you can go ahead and proceed with your order. Um? no I cant the problem is there what do you mean? They are absolutely no help and even when provided with proof that it was on their end, did not try to resolve the issue at all.
