      If I could add 0 stars I would. Refusal to deal with a faulty goods which cost over $1,000.Comical attitude from the person over the phone, simple thought train would assume the refunded money would still be spent in their store in a different product.

      So Dick's Sporting Goods offered a preorder ************************** jersey. My husband ordered this a month ago. It was supposed to ship today. Conveniently it was canceled because they are out of stock now. One of my sons big gifts. How do you offer a pre-order of something that you may or may not have....this store is terrible

      This will be the first review I leave to BBB and it's because of the almost criminal handling of my return. First time I used a gift card and order was cancelled. It happens, bad inventory control. Was told had to wait 8-10 business days for new gift card or to place another order. Placed new order and that one was cancelled. No updates from company except an email. After a week chatted with associate ago said not to worry I would get new card. Two weeks after no card. Called and transferred to third party gift card company who said it was Dick's Sporting Goods issue to fix. Called again waiting for supervisor for 15 minutes. Was told surprised nobody did anything to fix and will send new gift card for which I'm waiting again. Had I not spent more than 3 hours of my time may never have even been looked at and my gift card never sent. If that's not theft I don't know what is.

      used Hanover store but I am sure the problem is widespread OK to buy clothes etc but do not bother to buy any equipment, I purchased an elliptical through their store the process was painful, the company they used for assembly ,select express was disorganized and inefficient, the manager tried to do his best to help me out which I appreciate but having said that Dicks is way over the head when it comes to exercise equipment, they need to realize that and stick with selling in store merchandise.

      If I could give this zero stars I would. Customer service was horrible. I ordered Jordan’s online last week and when I got them the box was destroyed , creased and stretched out. so I looked at the bottom of the shoe and they’ve been WORN. For a company this big that should NOT be allowed at all. It is unacceptable. I won’t be shopping there anymore.

      If I were able to leave a 0 star I would. Was given a coupon from ******** **. The store would not honor. I asked for the manager, and spoke to her.. She did nothing to help. I have 3 kids that ALL play sports and we get these coupons all of the time so it's not like they are a rare event! Manager Gave me the run around.. I even reached out to their corporate chat line and was given the same POOR customer service. It's ok... Sporting goods sector is very competitive and there are plenty of options online. Just unfortunate that I can't help local business! Oh well... I tried.

      I have never experienced such a horrible and unprofessional customer service in my life like I have with Dick's Sporting Good. It is so sad to have such a big company with an extremely poor customer service. ************************* you definitely have a serious problem in your hands. Can't wait for Academy Sports/Outdoors to take over!!!!!Wouldn't recommend you order anything from Dick's Sporting Good.

      I have given this place 2 opportunities to purchase products. I was never greeted at either visit and never offered assistance to locate my product. Never again.

      Dicks offers an asurion protection plan. Store says it replaces for worn out products. This is absolutely not true. I know numerous people who have fell prey to their scam. I would recommend an attorney file a class action against them

      Horrible customer service. Ordered a kid's snorkel mask and a men's bathing suit online. Bathing suit was fine but the kid's mask was too small for my daughter so I initiated a return, printed their label-clearly indicating that only the mask was being returned. A week or two went by without the credit showing up so I called and a woman made an inquiry with the return team or whatever they are called. Several days later I received an email notifying me that there was a "weight dispute," and that they could only refund for what was in the package. I was told that if "you feel there is an error, please contact your bank to dispute it." At the bottom of the email it stated that they "considered the interaction complete" and would not respond to any email replies. What the hell does weight have to do with anything? I ordered and they sent two items. I returned one. They should be able to refund the purchase price for the returned item without resorting to weighing it. All of the packaging was returned along with the item. Whatever the eventual outcome I will never buy another item from dick's.
