      I repeatedly find a variance in the price of something on the rack as compared to what dicks has as the price in the register. Ive seen it both ways, where there is a sale sign but sale price not reflective in the register and where there is not a sale but the price is discounted. Ive even seen the same product marked at a different price based on color or something. This item wasnt a speciality item but just an everyday pair of shorts that should not be priced differently based on demand or popularity. At other times Dicks just isnt on top of changing the tags on the items when they update the system to a new price. It seems Dicks is engaging in price gouging, incompetence, and / or just setting prices on the fly as they see fit and expects the customer to price check everything. This should not be the responsibility of the customer but rather an integrity in pricing systems and allowing the customer to have some faith in prices being marked as advertised.

      Bought driver from dicks online store. I used the affirm payment plan offered at checkout. Big mistake. Through no fault of my own was sent wrong driver through mail that was used with ball marks on the face. Called customer service and explained the situation and I need this driver asap. They first said they could reorder it for me which wouldve been nice but someone else cut her off and said I could only take it to local store return it and they would reorder it for me. Cool 30 min down the road I go to get this/their mistake handled. Get to dicks in *********** and return driver explained situation and was told all they could do was refund the card I bought it on. I didnt order or want this driver so I was forced to refund their affirm card. Attempted to reorder driver because I needed it asap whole reason I bought it. Card declined because refund is pending. Dicks has offered no help in resolving situation. So almost 4 days later now no driver ordered missed my rounds refund still pending. This has been a nightmare transaction. If and when this refund goes through Im canceling everything getting as much of my money I already spent back and never buy from Dicks again.

      I'll give it a 2 star rating, and that's being generous. I bought a DSG Softball Glove on 3/9/2024 and bought the 1 year protection plan. On 8/28/2024 while playing softball, the laces on the fingers of the glove ripped apart. I tried filing an online claim, unsuccessfully because they couldn't find the product, then *********** No. 1: I was hung up on (not disconnected, she hung up after I asked for a supervisor)Call No. 2: I was put on hold for 23 minutes. ( I did hang up this time)Call No. 3: Waited on hold 10 minutes, then was told it would be another 5-10 minutes before I spoke with someone. This is RIDICULOUS! Don't offer a protection plan if it is going to take an act of ******** to get it taken care of.

      I purchased the newest puma soccer cleats for my 8 y/o son just SIX months ago. The bottom of the cleat is already separating from the shoe. Dicks tells me there is nothing they can do about selling me a poor product and I should call puma. So I do. Puma tells me that dicks is a certified retailer but since I didnt buy directly from puma there is nothing they can do either. Absolutely disgraceful customer service from both of these businesses.

      Poor business practices, dishonest they scammed me out of a $129 refund. Paid through Afterpay returned item to the store because of poor quality told they could only issue a Afterpay gift card which is total fraud. There website states if you pay through Afterpay they will refund Afterpay. The mgr said their new computers are not set up to refund back to Afterpay. So they are also dishonest with Afterpay. They evidently kno this up front yet are still deceiving customers that they will get a refund not a gift card. Since reality their merchandise is low quality this Gift Card (lies) is worthless to me. Id like to go in their store and try to take $129 from them lets see how far Id get but their allowed to steal $129 from me

      I placed an online order for delivery to ****, **, and had someone from Door Dash call me the day AFTER it was supposed to be delivered, saying that they just left the store and that the item was out of stock. I was confused -- I had no idea Door Dash would be fulfilling the order (this was never mentioned during the purchase process, nor in any of the emails sent to me).I contacted Dicks through their online chat about the item, and I was reassured by their support staff that the item was in stock and that it would be delivered. An hour or two later, I got a SECOND call from a different Door Dash driver, and then I spent a few minutes on the phone with them while they appear to have been going through the rack trying to figure out exactly which item they were picking up for me. It was not clear to them on the paperwork received from ****'s what the item was, which was surprising, as it would be more expected for the delivery driver to pick the item up from the **************** desk or something, where the order could be filled by a ****'s staff member familiar with the items and with access to the order. If I wanted door dash to pick it up for me, I would have called door dash...After that call, I looked again at tracking my order, and the website said "Delivery Method: Ground Parcel" and that the current status is "Preparing Shipment". Very deceptive.Nowhere was it clear to me that Door Dash would be filling the order this way, a day late, and I was certainly not expecting multiple interruptions to clarify information for delivery drivers that had not been provided to them by ****'s. This is a TERRIBLE way to fulfill online orders! I won't be making another purchase from ****'s online, ever. ****'s isn't making Door Dash look all that great either.

      DO BETTER!! DO BETTER!! Purchased shoes at Dicks yesterday had to take back and exchange for different pair same day. I paid $100 gift card and $80 CASH. The second pair was $20 cheaper and they would NOT refund me my cash!! Unexplainable not even the manage could help!! They wonder why people are going to Amazon more and more!! I tried to help the brick and mortar business but will never be back to Dicks again!!

      I was in ***********************, NY store to do a return on Sunday 7/21 only to find that I was one day late with the return. I was out of town for three weeks and forgot to do the return before I left. To my surprise, being just one day late reduced the price of my return for a brand new, unworn pair of womens On Cloud sneakers by over $40. The store wanted to do a refund for the full amount due to it being one day over and brand new sneakers but the new system would not allow them to do an override. I was told to contact customer service and they will be able to help as another customer had a similar situation and she received a refund for the full amount sthe originally purchased the item for and she was 2 weeks late with the return. The same day I called customer service (before leaving the store) and spoke with ***** but she said there was absolutely nothing she could do about the return, the policy is in place for a reason and neither system will allow for an override. I also chatted with customer service the following day (a rep, supervisor and now escalated to a manager) and they said there is nothing they are able to do and accept the fact that losing a customer over $40 is OK with them than making the situation right. I even asked about giving a $40 credit to compensate but they said NO. I shop a lot in Dick's stores quite a bit as I have a highschool son involved in three sports throughout the year - football, wrestling and lacrosse. If they don't make right by this situation then I will no longer shop at Dick's. Please advise how you can resolve for me ASAP.

      Fraud! Ive been a returning customer and have spent thousands over the years! I recently purchased a pair of shoes online for my son and the next day, my card was compromised where another pair of shoes was ordered in my name for a ridiculous amount. When my bank notified me of the suspicious charge, I called Dicks Sporting Goods Fraud Department, filed with the police and my bank. Long story short DicksSporting Goods sent paperwork to my bank saying they have reason to believe I made this purchase and it was my responsibility. The bank later on disagreed and made it right but DicksSporting Goods. Will not get another penney from me.
