      Our retirement plan with my company was terminated in April 2024. On August 7th, we completed the paperwork to rollover to new plan or distribute. Ascensus told us our funds would be available around the end of September. It is Oct 4 and now they are telling us maybe "some point in November". I feel like my money is being held for no reason. Every time I have called I get a different excuse. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - Zero stars

      If I could give them a subpar star I would they don't deserve a one-star rating. My husband's employer sponsored *** was taken over for bookkeeping and record keeping from ******** to this company. Problem is he can't access his account for distribution. My husband is 62 he has a right to that money it's his money so he asked for a small distribution eight days ago and he has not heard a peep and no money. This is totally unacceptable behavior the next step if we don't get the money in our bank account will be a lawyer.

      Absolutely the worst excuse of customer service i have ever seen! i am pulling any money that i have with them! on hold for more than an hour , agents that have no clue what they are doing! get different answers depending on which person i talk to... absolutely incompetent!!!!

      Fraudulent and evasive practices. Only way to get my 401k funds ******** gave to them was to file complaints with *** and *****. They lied about sending a check, told me the only way to expedite was with my own ***** or *** account. It's how they make money - they cash out your account, keep the money, earn the interest on it and make you fight to get your own money back.

      Worst financial company with a horrible customer service full of lies! My friends company recently moved over to Acensus and he wants to transfer it out and they are literally telling him he needs to keep signing the same form over and over again. He has now called in over 8 times to get his own money and they simply give him the run around. They even hung up on him after he complained to them! How horrible is that?! How do they stay in business. Im reading all the one star reviews and its literally all the same experiences over and over again! Always ask for a name when calling and leave a review here to make sure they are actually being reviewed. ********* ******* was the last person that swore they will transfer the money out.

      It has taken 4 days to get them fix an email address so I could get adminstrator access to my account. When I finally got the address fixed and set up my adminstrative account I found I had been given administrative access to another company! This is a major breach of security. Could I drain their accounts? And who have they granted access to my account? I'm on hold right now (21 minutes and counting) waiting for someone to comeback with a resolution. Their upbeat hold music is grating against the anger I feel for the time I'm spending dealing with their slipshod practices.

      I was told different things ever time I called and believe me I been patient every time. I been calling since the 9th of August and still havent received anything. . So I called my old job and they said it was approved on the 9th. The company keep saying they are waiting on my job to release the 40%. Please dont trust this company with you employees money.

      THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY. THEY STOLE MY MONEY AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE CANT HELP. THEY PROVIDED ME WITH AN EMAIL ADDRESS THAT DOES NOT WORK TO UPDATE MY INFORMATION. THEY SAID A MANAGER WOULD CALL ME BACK AND NO ONE EVER DOES. They have my money and they make it impossible to get out. IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

      HORRIBLE ***************** It shouldn't take two weeks to make a withdrawal from a company 401k.

      My company was just starting a 401k plan and in November of 2023 we decided to use Ascensus. for the recordkeeping part of the 401k. This Company 401k was to begin on 1/1/24. After about 65 emails and about 10 1 hour assisted zoom meeting to get everything up and running. Ascensus at the beginning of the year broke off the relationship with the payroll company we were using. We ended up finding a manual way around and rather than a 360 integration it was a 180. We are a very small company. Then after the first quarter we received this big bill invoice for x amount of dollars. We were like this can't be right? They basically charge for every individual transaction per employee per payroll. So if you had 10 employees at $35.00 per transaction and you had 4 payrolls in the month $1,400.00. How ridiculous when I am the one doing the uploading of the information. All they are is the recordkeeper. Absolutely incompetent and unresponsive. An extremely terrible experience with them. I will never recommend them. Additionally We decided this 401k was too expensive for our small company. Their suppose to be fiduciary's! I thought. We were misled in so many ways. Now we stopped the 401k after the first quarter. IT took 3 more months just to get them to acknowledge the termination of the 401k. And it is taking me another 3 months just to get my employees money back. And we still don't have a check. Please DO NOT under any circumstances use this company.
