Worst company and can not even give them one star. Texas does not charge sales tax on prescription dog food however Pet Flow seems to believe they can charge it anyway. I called their priority number and was rudely told they did not want to argue about it and would not give me a name or number to their corporate office so I could educate them on the law. It appears they increase their profits illegally when collecting this tax on prescription pet foods. If they can fix their attitudes and sales tax problen I will be happy to make a purchase.

I'm sincerely sorry for the trouble here, I do apologize for the extreme wait time. We not only had to manually verify our account but, also needed to get this to the accountants as well as tax professionals. There's lots of reasons why you may have been charged sales tax even though Texas doesn't charge locally for prescriptions. The common reasons we see is that RX foods are not actually medicated, it's just a therapy for your animals that can have adverse affects and needs a professional to review health of the animal. Also we see that while taxes may not be charged for certain items and on others is that designations, tax law and other stipulations may require you to pay tax if you are ordering items from another state.
I do want to advise that our tax software updates on the site to the current values every week. This may have changed in your time. If you have questions about taxes please reach out to your local tax authority. I do encourage you to log in, add something to cart and see if this has changed for you. If you would like to place an order, I'd be happy to give you a discount for you to give us a chance again. 5 starsI don’t leave reviews, but I’m making an exception because I don’t care if your perfect but I do appreciate how you can solve problems. I discovered my auto ship was being back ordered. I sent an email requesting they cancel my subscription. Here’s what they did right: discovered that the item was discontinued from the vendor, apologized that they didn’t bring it to my attention, offered me an acceptable alternative at a discount and ensured the new product would be shipped asap. All of that was solved in 20 minutes via email and I didn’t have to run store to store to figure this out. They demonstrated integrity, honesty and sincerity in providing a solution. I should have read the reviews before placing my order with this company for the first time. They cancelled my order and never notified me. When I contacted them, they said it was flagged for a fraud and didn't give me any another explanation. The item was on sale and I ordered 40 of it in order to get a free shipping. This was my first and last time ordering with this company. Horrible.Petflow.com

If I could give Petflow 0 stars I would. Their customer service is AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL, they take forever to ship items (on the off-chance that they actually have the items available) and will require a huge waste of time on your part to rectify issues that they create. They consistently gone downhill over the years. I’ve given them multiple chances and each time wonder why I did. I am currently on the phone for the third time with them to rectify an issue. Stay away. While your local pet store might be a few dollars more expensive (or maybe they won’t be), it will be worth the time and effort you’ll save from NOT giving your business to Petflow.Petflow.com

Unfortunately, with the storms near our warehouses and coming off the tail end of the holiday season we've had some shipment delays and we've done our best to communicate this on site and through custom emails to every customer affected. We've implemented a new system for email notifications as well that tells you when the product is shipping, when it's arriving, when it's day of and when it's delivered to be more up to industry standards. While I understand delays as a result of the post-holiday season, this would be a viable excuse IF this had been the first time Petflow has provided awful service and taken forever to send out my item. 5 starsPet Flow is a great company! I recently realized I wouldnt have enough dog food because we were going away with our dog in 3 days. I called to change the ship date on my order and was told no problem! Sure enough it was delivered to my door in 2 days! Every time Ive had an issue, they have come through for me! Placed an order on 10/6 after ***** decided to cancel my order for no reason. I was apprehensive to such an unknown webpage, but online reviews gave me confidence. Placed an order, then contacted customer service to ask about shipping, as I needed my dog's food asap (I will be running out as of 10/12). I was reassured that the food would ship the following day, 10/7. This should give it enough time to get to me without an issue. On 10/10, I follow up with customer service again, as my order still does not appear to have shipped. I am given a lame excuse that the warehouse doesn't work on the weekends (understandable, but my order was supposed to be shipped Friday 10/7, which is *before* the weekend). I was told the earliest they would be able to ship would be Tuesday 10/11 (not even Monday, which also happens to not be the weekend). Ended up cancelling and buying from a brick and mortar store. TLDR: If you think this company can be a better option than *****, you are wrong. They **** and should not be in business.Petflow.com

It is true we don't ship on weekends, we're a small boutique store that does carry many brands that other competitors do not. Unfortunately, shipping those brands is quite expensive. **************** is exceptional. We received our pet stuff tower and one of the lids was cracked. Sent an email and they responded so quickly and is sending us a new lid right away. We love the tower it is so convenient to store our fur babies food. I would definitely recommend Petflow for pet needs.Petflow.com
