They continue to add onto my loan with “collateral protection” despite sending my documents to prove my insurance several times. I currently have an extra 275 dollars on my loan due to their negligence and sending me an email stating “they’re unable to update my account”

PSECU is holding my 18-year-old daughter responsible for a check that she deposited that turned out to be fake. They immediately cleared the check and then 5 days later said the check was fraudulent. This was after she was contacted by the company that issued the bad check, and they said they overpaid her and she needed to send back half of the money. So now, even though PSECU cleared the check originally, they are demanding she pay back the missing money. Their security department was horribly rude and disrespectful to her. They actually told her to get a job and pay back the money. Their customer service department was also rude and condescending and offered no help. We have made a complaint to the PA Attorney General's office.

Disastrous experience. Unfortunately they don't answer their phones, managers don't return phone calls and their phone support is unprofessional and rude.
As a member for over 30 years, this company is now off my list. Terrible terrible terrible.
      Beware....they are a disaster!

That does not change the fact that you are impossible to reach. I was a member for 35 years, you should have adequate phone support and return calls when I made three requests for a supervisor.

Horrible. PSECU has incorrectly placed incorrect information on my credit report regarding a payment being late. Pursuit to the Fair Credit Reporting Act filed a dispute with Experian and submitted documentation to both Experian and to PSECU showing the payment was indeed MADE ON TIME, yet they still refuse to correct their internal error! Horrible

Need to make a payment for your auto loan? GOOD LUCK! Need to reset your log in to make said payments? TRY AGAIN! Tell the representative on the phone when THEY decide to call you? You get the “well we haven’t had any issues with our phone lines” spiel. Even after you try to get your point
across that you haven’t been able to log in and you have no way of contacting them you are appalled by hearing the representative on the phone say that your vehicle is out for repossession. 3 MONTHS I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT THEM TO GET EVERYTHING FIGURED OUT! It’s absolutely ridiculous. I will definitely be going to a different bank ASAP. Horrible customer with a “we couldn’t be bothered” attitude. PSECU should be ashamed of themselves.

I have been a customer for over 40 years. PSECU used to be excellent but it has gone down hill since Greg retired as President. The even lost Human Resources support when the new president arrived. I had a fraudulent charge that was pending and verified that it was not valid. They closed my card without even telling me. I have direct payments that come out monthly from my Debit card. Now bills for the 15th of the month will not go through and I will be left with a mess. At my age I will make the move to MembersFirst where you don't have to deal with these people and longer. Customer Service representatives are rude and have been trained to just repeat themselves or just say sorry I can't help. It's just plain AWEFUL!

I recently Applied for a line of credit with PSECU. Everything was correct on my application. Days later I received a Call from PSECU stating I needed to submit ID forms of verification, I proceeded to submit those documents in order to finish my application. I later received a notice letter in the mail stating the same issue PSECU had and read “ it is necessary for you to provide the following information or take the following action(s) within 30 days from the date of this notice.” Which means if they did not receive my ID digitally I still had a chance to submit my documents through the mail. But, I didn’t. PSECU Failed to give me a fair credit opportunity at all in getting a chance to become a member they ended up making a decision of Credit Denying me based on them being “Unable to Verify Identity. “ Which was intentional because of my Race. When I called PSECU a representative put me on hold for 2 hours. Finally resulting to me being put on the phone with the Loan manager, conversation ended with him telling me there’s nothing he could do. Even with a 730+ FICO score I was still denied. I would Personally never recommend banking with them or applying for any of their products. PSECU has horrible customer support and is not trustworthy or professional.

My account was involved in a scam. I agreed to pay back $1900+ within 45-60 days. I was upfront about a large deposit for a freelance job that was expected into my account. The bank agreed verbally with the repayment terms with me. A week later, PSECU removed the entire $1900 from my savings and told me they changed their minds. The fraud department interrogated me and treated me like a criminal, the agents and managers treated me like a child. I will now lose my yearly contract and my integrity with my freelance contract and most likely that source of income. PSECU did not protect their member. They did not care about me or May family at all like they claim to.

We ordered a Cashiers Check from our account and accepted the overnight fee.
Never received check 5 days later.
      PSECU Blames UPS.
Spent hours on the phone with a PSECU supervisor.
Supervisor Promised He talked to UPS and delivery is guaranteed tomorrow.
      PSECU takes no responsibility!
As soon as we recover our money one way or the other, we are (after decades) leaving this bank forever.
      This credit union is horrible.
