Was informed by email on 12/1/2023: "In regards to moving into the ********************* you will have an assigned customer service representative who will be assisting on that end. They will typically reach out with a welcome email or call to provide you some general information. This typically happens within the next week." I signed a contract with Home Repair to replace my storm damage roof on 411 2022, I forwarded them a check from my insurance company for $15525. Every couple months I would hear from them via email that they were backed up and couldnt schedule my repair yet. That was over two years ago. I signed a contract with *********************** LLC in July 2023. On April 1, ************************************************************************** to see if there was any damage which needed repairing. After their free evaluation and their meeting with my home owners insurance **** *********************** LLC was supposed to replace my roof, siding and gutters. My insurance company wrote out the first check of $15,497.80 which I, in turn, signed over to Home Repair. They were to receive all remaining monies upon job completion. Both my agent and myself explained the work needed to be completed no later than April 1st which would make it one full year from the hail incident. I continuously reached out to them asking when the work would begin and kept being told that my job was pushed back. I reminded them, via email, that this needed to be completed by 4/1/24 and their response was, "We work with deadlines all the time. It will be completed." Well, it was not completed. No one has returned phone calls or emails once I requested a refund. Obviously, my home owners rate has increased due to this claim which was never fixed and now cannot be as the deadline has officially ended. Therefore, the insurance company will not pay the remaining amount as the job is no longer eligible to be fixed. After reading the other cases here, I see this is Home Repair's practice. This is criminal fraud! They scammed me and 3 others I'm friends with. Did the same thing...took their insurance check and never showed to do the work. WE HAVE ALL BEEN SCAMMED. Home Repair collected $12,888.00 from my insurance company State Farm over 1 year ago. This was for a garage roof and siding on my home. I verified by State Farm they cashed the check. I kept calling Home Repair when why repairs would could done. When they did return my calls always said soon we were on the list. Then ******************* CEO of Home Repair disappeared. Needless to say he took all my insurance money and repairs where never done. I signed a contract with Home Repair in July of 2022 for a roof, siding, and fascia replacement. My insurance released ***** dollars to secure the job and provide the initial down payment. Since then we have heard of delays from Covid, material, crew availability, and weather. The initial timeline proposed by Home Repair was ***** weeks from the date we signed the contract in July of 2022. I have now been waiting more than 80 weeks for this company to honor their contract and complete the roof, siding, and fascia. I recently have tried to get updates on my job and every reach out is meet with silence, no call backs, or emails from the contacts I have in Home Repair. I even have offered to pay the insurance depreciation to get the job prioritized back in November of 2023 and still no updates to when my job will be scheduled. At this point I want the company to complete the work or release the ***** dollars they have stolen from me.This has gone on far too long.Initial Complaint

In 3/2022 I signed over $23,891.33 in insurance settlement checks to Home Repair LLC to start work on roofing, siding and storm damage ti my house. For 2 years, I have received every weak excuse on why work hasnt started. After giving the company an ultimatum that satisfactory work be started by November 2023, they have no longer responded to my efforts to contact them. Law enforcement in Montgomery County has joined in seeking ************** and several of my neighbors who have experienced either no work or poor work for the contracts they signed on for with Home Repair LLC.Initial Complaint

I hired this company to replace my roof and they were paid over a year ago but have not replaced the roof. Below is the last communication that I had with them.Dear *******,I am writing to express my frustration, which has now turned into anger with your company for not replacing my roof in a timely manner. The roof has progressively gotten worse, and now every time it rains the roof is leaking. At first it was leaking in the bathroom, which will result in the entire bathroom ceiling and door needing replacement. Now, it has started leaking into my bedroom and we had to move furniture to put down plastic and a bucket to catch the leaking water. The attached photos shows the damage which is occurring due to your companys neglect to timely replace the roof.It has been over a year since you demanded and received the payment from the insurance company to replace my roof and all that you have done is string me along with one excuse after another. You claimed that you need the money to order the shingles, but it was obvious that you didnt order them because almost six months later you came back to me to choose a different color/style because the manufacturer stopped making the original one. Your last communication to me was for me to apply for financing from the manufacturer to pay for the shingles, even though you received payment from the insurance company.If you cant order the shingles because of slow payment by other customers, that shouldnt have any impact on my roof. You received payment to replace my roof and that money shouldnt have been comingled with other customers accounts. I dont know what kind of scam or Ponzi scheme your company is running, but I will not allow myself to become a bigger victim. If you are unable or unwilling to immediately complete the replacement of my roof, then cancel the contract and return ALL the money that you were paid so that I can hire someone else to replace my roof.Initial Complaint

In July of 2022, contact was made with Home Repair to have a new roof installed on my house after a hailstorm. Throughout that summer, they were mostly attentive to communications and appeared to be professional. In September of 2022, Home Repair required a deposit in order to enter my home into production. In November of 2022, my damaged roof started leaking into my home; I expressed my concern and was told “we will absolutely be able to mitigate the damages by providing you with a tarping service”, which Ronny did at that time. In December of 2022, we signed a Service Agreement Production Document; I was told that services were estimated to be completed in about 12 - 16 weeks. Since signing that agreement, it has been a full year and absolutely no work has been completed. Multiple excuses have been made as to why production keeps getting pushed. I have expressed concern since my roof started leaking again and no movement has been made. I have been more than understanding and my willingness to be agreeable to these delays has been abused. I began to express my frustration in July of 2023. In August of 2023, I was told that I could “get the depreciation released early and move your (my) home into a 4 week timeline.” Those funds were released to me in September of 2023 and still, no work has been completed. In November of 2023, I had had enough and have been forced to move forward with a reputable and professional company instead; I need my insurance money returned to me to put towards this claim. I have yet to have my deposit returned to me despite demanding it back in full on multiple occasions. Home Repair’s failure to complete the work as promised within a timely manner breached our contract. Additionally, due to their negligence to not only complete my home project but to repair my leaking roof as promised, there is now internal damage to my home.
