      I would give them no stars if I could. I have been waiting for gas so I could cook for my three children and elderly mother for 7 days. I was signed up for the company’s auto fill program which is a complete joke. I ran out of gas and requested that it be expedited since they were supposed to monitor my tank and automatically fill it when it got low. When I couldn’t get hot water, I went to my tank and it completely empty. On top of that, the rep attempted to charge me $300 for an expedited delivery when the company was supposed to automatically fill my tank. Needless to say, I am still without gas….. According to the rep the delivery coordinators keep canceling my order everyday. I have called every day since I placed my order and I am always told I will have gas delivered the next day.

      Yesterday, I created a new account for myself online. After signing-up & receiving a welcome e-mail, I realized your website was not clear (at all) on the applied charges. As the tank was pre-existing, with Amerigas fuel still in it, I tried to sign-in to cancel the Safety Check that had been unnecessarily attached to my request for fuel. The website did not recognize my username & password. When trying to reset the password, the website could not send me a reset e-mail. Therefore, I called the "Customer Service" number to cancel the $290 safety check & just request a fill-up. The service agent could not understand what I was saying to her & could only answer me with a rote script. After quite a while of trying to explain, she hung up on me. (Hence the quotes around customer service) When I called back, I asked to speak to a supervisor. The rep. said they could do that, we went back through my info., & she put me on hold to transfer. After 15 minutes or so, someone answered, I told her I was wanting to speak with a supervisor & SHE put me on hold to transfer. 10 minutes later, another lady answered & proceeded to tell me there were no phone numbers for managers/supervisors. I told her that was totally untrue as someone would have to contact them at some point in time, if they work for Amerigas. I told her she just didn't want to give me the number & I would appreciate the honesty more. She replied, "Well, that's what I want to say, but.........". I told her the BBB would probably like to hear about the CS practices & SHE hung up on me.

      This company is terrible. I’m at 0% with a newborn and having been waiting 6 days for propane. They keep saying they’re coming on a certain day, I make arrangements for someone to be there, and they don’t show up. Each day I calm the delivery date changes- then when you call you get people who sound like robots barely speak English. Will look into changing companies!

      Not professional. In Orlando area.
      Order exchange of tank in August we are on October 6 still no delivery. They gave multiple excuses. Set different days to come which they say with 24 or 48 hours. Still nothing. The call center puts wrong info on computer. Nothing gets done. They already had me down for for expedite 7 times and still nothing. Its been 2 months still no delivery. They never give a date or time for delivery they show up when they want. If you not home then they leave and you gota wait weeks. Managers dont do anything but put info on computer and say we will expedite, well I'm still waiting.

      Began calling last week for our propane tanks to be filled. I was first told by Friday, called Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and was told by end of day each of those days. Called on Thursday and was told he had already been here and we were not.... I gave them hour as 30 minutes after opening and 30 minutes before closing. Person had no answer as to why they would come before we are open but assured me before end of day. So FINALLY they show up - our driver - Ephbourne was extremely nice. He said that this is the first time this has came across his tickets and he has not already been here today. They are giving the drivers more than they can do in a day. He had worked 16 hours yesterday. Their expectations for their drivers is utterly excessive. They need to have Customer Service Reps with better replies filled with the truth too! I have been told so many lies it is unbelievable! One star for Amerigas but 5 for my driver that showed up!

      AmeriGas totally sucks! NOBODY knows what they're doing? I had a bill for $502 and a payment plan four payments. I've been trying to pay them off since July they won't take a payment because they have my balance so screwed up and nobody knows what they're doing they won't let you talk to a manager it doesn't get resolved I paid almost $300 in payments and they argue with me that I still owe them $356.00 RUDE INCOMPETENT CALL CENTER THAT HALF THE TIME CANT SPEAK PROPER ENGLISH....

      Had my 1st delivery on 9/2020 for my new generator. Just live through hurricane Ian. Called on 10/1/2022 to get my tanks filled. I was told my account was inactive and would have to be updated. This update could take up to 48 hours. Called on 10/3 and 10/5 and was told the very same thing. This companies idea of emergency management is a joke. They are more concerned with their "systems" then they are their customers. I ran out of gas on 10/4, and their system will still not allow a delivery to be scheduled. I am at a loss for words for how incompetent, insensitive, and poorly managed their order system is. Guess you don't have to worry about hurricanes in Pennsylvania.

      I bought a home in gated community where there is only Amerigas propane chosen by the management. I need a propane meter installed. Amerigas has the most difficult process of getting an account setup, making an appointments that are 2 weeks out, being put on hold for extended periods of time 15-20 mins, waiting for hours on appointments that have been rescheduled without telling me and I still do not have a meter and cannot move into my new home because of Amerigas. There is no communication between the service techs and office scheduling. They say there will be someone calling you and no one calls. I have never had an incredibly bad experience such as this. It's affecting my health and sleep worrying about making sure someone does their job.

      I had been a customer of this company for 20 years. While I shopped and paid everything was fine. The minute I get a leak of my propane gas system, they abandoned us. Attempted several times to get service, and had no call, no show. Still have propane gas in my home and no one has picked up or contacted us. Contact of Customer service is poor and no local representative. All calls deferred to Ohio Corporate office, who do not know how to solve issues. They have a "Resolution Team", no supervisors, nor Regional Representative and no one who can solve the issues. Poor company. They shut off my gas gauge and stated it was unsafe to use, gave me an appointment to fix issue 3 weeks later and no one showed up nor called. When contacted office in Ohio, they told me they had no explanation and wanted to give me an appointment for 3 more weeks ahead. Meanwhile, I had no stove and was buying food out. I ended spending 1500.00 in new electric stove and cancelled service. They said it would take 2-8 weeks to pick up the tank.

      Amerigas is an absolutely terrible company. Do not become a customer of theirs or you will regret it as I did. My tank was at 18% when I called for a refill, and now it's 6 weeks later and I'm at 5% and no one has ever showed up. I have made at least 8 appointments for a full over the last 6 weeks and no one ever showed up each time. I stayed home and waited each time on my day off to be sure to be here as I was so angry and wanted to talk to a live person. It's very difficult to get a person on the phone to help you. Finally, I gave up on them as I didn't want to get into winter with no gas. I went with another company, advanced propane (a family owned co. Not a conglomerate), who did show up and did exactly what they said they would. So I call amerigas to come pick up their tank and they didn't even show up on the scheduled day to do that. I called again and they told me I can make another appointment and wait 10 days for pickup. They also added that I would have to pay them $150 to pick up my tank. I told amerigas they had two choices : 1) they could either pick up their tank out of my driveway that's waiting for them or I can roll it off a cliff never to be seen again. Stay away from these thieves, horrible company, horrible customer service. They do not care about their customers.
