      Price Gougers! I have been with Amerigas (transitioned from our local Ohio Valley Gas) for 30+ years. Me, being a local customer, accepted the fact that their prices were slightly higher because they performed auto fills. July 25 of this year they came and filled my tank for $4.05 per gallon. I thought that was outrageous and called other local companies to compare. The other companies were charging $2.19. After 4 calls to Amerigas on August 5 I finally got to the resolution department to ask them to adjust their bill to summertime rates. They (being a call center in the Philippines) said the only amount they could adjust were the fees amounting to $24.00 and that I was getting a good deal that now their gas was $4.56 per gallon. I promptly told them to come get their unused gas and their tank. I am calling them weekly now as they have yet to come get their tank or the gas and I have since had another tank placed and am going with another local company where I am getting fills averaging around $2.15 per gallon. In addition, I suspected last year that they would come out and perform autofills when the gas prices were higher as to maintain a constant cash flow for suckers like me who used their autofill service and always paid their full bill on time. If you need gas look elsewhere!!

      Dissatisfied with business practices. Was charged for not buying enough propane in the previous year. Cancelled service 3 months ago. Still have an empty tank in our yard even after multiple calls to customer service. Customer service will not let me speak to a manager even after asking several times.

      This is by far the worst customer service ever. You get told different things by customer service , never is the same info. They are really overpriced and never can explain things that make sense. Worst company . I wish I never had to use them but I rent so unless owners change the companies I am stuck until I move out. Which because of this company I really want to leave this place. Crooks!!!!!

      I ordered online says schedule time by 9/5/22, it’s now 9/9 and I called a few times they said it’s being delivered. Still not delivered. Wanted to charge me another 300 for emergency. I said no it was scheduled already it needs to be delivered now. I am going to file charges soon. They wanted paid in advance I paid still not here. They are stealing my money.

      Been a customer of Amerigas since 2006. Have always ONLY HAD ONE GAS APPLIANCE, a Range, since we became customers! My husband called on Tuesday, 9/6, to schedule someone to come out an fill our tank. The lady on the phone told him we also needed to have a Safety Check done since it had been almost 2 years since we got gas. He agreed to have a safety check. He also told the lady that we only had ONE GAS APPLIANCE, A RANGE! The lady then told I’m that we needed to pay $288.91 for the safety check and the gas. She said we had a credit of $24.22 so the total we needed to pay was $264.69. The appointment was scheduled for Thursday, 9/8, anytime after 2:00 p.m. The Technician came out at 2:52 p.m. today. He came inside our home and looked at our Range. My husband then took him outside to look at the gas tank. At which time the Tech told him that they would not be able to fill our tank BECAUSE WE ONLY HAVE ONE GAS APPLIANCE AND YOU. MUST HAVE THREE GAS APPLIANCES TO RECEIVE GAS FROM THEM. I called AmeriGas to ask why I wasn’t told this when we called to schedule gas delivery. Why did I pay for service when we told them we only had one gas appliance. I then was transferred to a Customer Service Supervisor, Karen, who, after I told her what happened, asked me what time the Tech was out. I pulled up our outside cameras and was able to tell her the exact time! She then said they didn’t have any information from the Tech that he told us that. So I asked her “AmeriGas not only DOESN’T CARE ABOUT THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS?”? To which she responded YES! So I asked her again and she responded YES again!! Then I asked her “ Because you haven’t received information from the Tech you’re saying I’m lying to you?” She responded with a YES!! So I said to her “So you’re calling me a LIAR!” She again said “YES!!” Then she said that AmeriGas would give me a credit on my account of the amount we paid!! How stupid did she think I was!! Money has been refunded!!

      I have written one star reviews for Amerigas, many of them. Recently however things have improved dramatically. It used to take weeks to get a delivery, IF I could get one. Now it only takes a few days. They are also offering promotions to make it easier to pay and giving a discount. Before it appeared that they weren't even trying, but now they are trying and succeeding. If they can keep this up they will eventually overcome all those terrible reviews.

      I applied for an account with them a few years back and was denied. No problem, the homeowner kept their account so we could still get propane. Now I am being called by collections for an account in my name. If you get denied for an account, how can they send you to collections? Do NOT use this company, they will FALSIFY DOCUMENTS to try and cheat you! I tried handling this with the company first to no avail, they were outright rude or still insisted I had to pay. Now I have to deal with collections to dispute it.

      unacceptable customer service... actually no customer service. They send an email to call this number to pre pay for gas. It was sent to india where it took her 30 minutes to do a pre buy of 300 gallons. awful! This should be available to be done online. This company SUCKS ASS!

      On the first week of August, we scheduled an appointment for Thursday September 1, 2022 for site survey. They confirmed the appointment couple days before, did not show up did not call on the appointment day. I called in to make sure they were still coming and confirmed they had somebody coming out. End result was no call no show. This cost me a full day of work that I had to take off burning PTO. This is the problem when you make somebody take a day off work because block windows where you require somebody to be home but don’t say when your coming. To. Or show up is terrible but not even calling makes it worse.
