      They almost let us run out of propane last year. We had to call several times and finally they came out. Their customer service is horrible. We have been trying to buy our tank so we can be customer owned. We know for a fact they sell the tanks but they will not budge and sell us our tank. They are like programed robots when you call them. We will go with anther company as I do not want anything to do with them ever again. Absolutely horrible company.

      This place is a train wreck, DO NOT USE! I have wasted hours of my life trying to get service then when I tried to get rid of them I wasted many more hours of my life in phone conversations and being billed for my account which was supposed to be closed.
      I contacted them in December 2020 in person at their office after not being able to get through on the phone to shut off my service. I told them to come get their tank and close my account.
      Never heard a thing from them. In August 2021 after the tank sat there I called and told them to come get it, they said the account was still open I told them I had closed it in December. Then the bills started. In October 2021 I received the tank rental fee for that year on the account I had supposedly closed. The only reason the tank was still there was because they wouldn’t come get it. then they added the tank pick up fee. I did not pay as my account was supposed to be closed and I shouldn’t owe anything. On December 8, 2021 I talked to a guy who told me that the tank fee was part of it. I looked up on the internet and it was so I told him I would pay that fee. He waved everything except the tank fee. I told him send a new bill and I would pay it. They never sent a bill just sent it to collections WTH! I have outstanding credit and pay my bills, at least the ones I receive. So I started dealing with the collection company and told them I never received a bill. They were supposed to send me one, never got it. Just another collection letter. After hours on the phone I mailed the check in June to cover the tank pickup. It cleared the bank on July 12. TODAY I received a new bill from AmeriGas saying I owe them for the tank pickup, another hour of my time I can’t get back. She wanted my email are you kidding me. She said she would request the account be cleared. She said she could call me, I told her she could send it by mail and not waste anymore of my time. She said she couldn’t do that. But they can bil

      AmeriGas practices price gouging. Since November of 2020, they would bill us $.10 more a gallon than shown of the delivery slip, when billed 1 or 2 days after delivery. This has created late fees due to the fact that I refuse to pay an unreasonable bill. I have tried to resolve this situation many times and have not had any response from the company.

      Worst company and customer server I've dealt with in a long time. I canceled my service in January and had to call multiple times to force them to pickup my rental tank. Took 9 month for the tank pickup. Customer rep told me they would pro rate tank rental back to cancel date. BUT bill shows up and they did not pro rate as promised. Again took multiple calls to customer service long hold while they reviewed my account each time to finally get them to pro rate back to cancel date.
      Also due to having locked gates on the property I told them to call prior to picking up tank so I can unlock gates. Zero call, no notice at all. Just showed up while I was gone (I left gate open while running errand). Zero notice, Zero call, Zero customer service. Will never use this company again for any propane services.
      Not calling prior to showing up to fill tank was the initial reason for canceling service. So not surprised they didn't follow thru with their promise to call.

      The absolute worst company i have ever come across. Customer service is based in Mexico, they have promised 4 times to come to our business and exchange our tanks so our hi-lo's can run and they have never shown up. I told them on each phone call that our hi-lo's have been brought to a hault and we can't load trucks with customers parts because we have no propane. I've called 4 times, starting Monday to get someone to come out and it's Thursday and we were promised they we would be out no later than 2pm. It's 3pm and again they are a no show. I've called and I keep getting "disconnected". I was actually told by an American women (finally an American, albeit a lying one) that coming out to our business wasn't convenient for them on the other days. Hand to God, that's what they said. She also told me that I was lied to by the other Customer Service Reps. Nice! If I could give this company negative stars I would. Our old Controller switched us from a perfectly reliable supplier to save a few bucks. Lesson? You get what you pay for. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

      We signed up for a special for new customers on November 1, 2021 and were told we would have a first tank fill of $174.9 per gallon, a $69.99 Set up fee and free 1 year tank rental and free installation. No one ever called or showed up for a site visit. We called numerous times just to be given the run around. After we finally got someone to help, they set up for a tank to be delivered so we drove an hour to meet them, and no one called or showed up. this happened 3 times no call no show and this is in the middle of winter. This went on for 7 months and finally we got the tank installed SEVEN MONTHS LATER and were billed for installation and a year rental. We have called and spoke to several customer service people and a manager with no luck, she would not even check our order to see which salesperson signed us up she just said they would not honor the deal we were given. You would think after all the supposed appointments and trips back and forth with no communication and no shows that the least they would do is give us the original deal. Our first bill shoud have been $450.00 and it was almost $1,600. I have never experienced a company like this, their staff is rude and don't expect a call back because it won't come. Beware and seek out another company, It hard to even bring myself to give them 1 star.

      Called on Saturday to have propane delivered. I was on auto refill so not sure why I had to call in the first place. Was told I would receive a call back on Monday regarding an error with my account. Got the call back Monday morning and was immediately put on hold for 20 minutes followed by another request to call me back. Received a 3rd call from America's later that day and delivery was scheduled as an "emergency". 3 days later I still have no gas so a 4th phone call was made today. Was told by the agent that he didn't understand why I didn't have a delivery yet as an emergency was supposed to be delivered in 24 hours and he will call me back. Currently waiting on my 5th call for a simple delivery.

      WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! My husband and I bought a house with a tank that was already owned by the previous owners. My husband called to have Amerigas come to fill it up and we prepaid over $800 on June 18. Fast forward to now and we still haven't received any propane. We have called several times to be told they would schedule it. We've received multiple text messages stating a date and time for delivery and every time we get no showed. When calling and asking the supervisor why we had paid in full 2 months ago and we still don't have our propane her reason was well there must have been an issue with the driver. I asked what issue. She said it would be in the paperwork. I told her to go ahead and read to me the reason: it was that they didn't have a driver. So apparently they will happily let you pay in full but not deliver your propane ever. I am getting a full refund and would definitely not use them again.

      Amerigas delivered propane on May 27, 2022. I did not order propane I am I will call customer. I have been trying since May to get this rectified every time I call they said they’re going to either pump out the extra propane or not charge me for the extra propane.       We were new customers. We had the tank inspected by the company Amerigas. The tank contained 30% full. The charge to check for leaks was $145. The serviceman was very nice.
      Next, we get a bill for over $400 for a full tank we never received. After 4 phone calls to correct the problem.......nothing! We are still at 30% because the only thing gas is our 40 gal. hot water heater. So Amerigas says they are going to sue us for gas that was never ordered or delivered.
      Terrible customer service. But the inspector was terrific. Sad the company is a joke.
