Apparently Cigna is still doing business under the name Connecticut General Insurance. They have issued a crossover to my ******** account saying I have a policy starting on Sept 1 that I do not have. Cigna denies knowing anything about it and after speaking with several agents and being bounced between Cigna and ******** no one can tell me how to remove this policy from my ******** account or who to contact. I believe this is fraud.

Cigna supplemental insurance is the worst. I submitted a claim 03/30/2024 and still has yet to be completed with the additional documentation that I sent for my daughters concussion. They give you all the run around and have yet to pay out for claim. Same excuse that it is a technical issue and they are working with IT. Ridiculous how I pay for an insurance that is useless.

Horrible. I cant get a price for a mammogram when the facility is out of network. How can I make a decision as a consumer if no one can give me a price? All they kept saying is the facility is out of network I KNOW THAT!!!

The worst experience I have ever had! I signed up for Cigna Dental PPO because I thought they were a reputable company. I recently lost my canine tooth (Eye Tooth) and desperately need an implant. The only thing they covered was the extraction for $74.00. They said because I had too many missing teeth that they would not give me an implant. How is that possible when you need an implant to substitute for a missing tooth? The *** they will pay per year is only $2500.00. I would have been better off setting aside that amount than the pain, agony, time and tears I have spent on this. Oh and get this! Since I have to come up with the implant money because they won't cover it they won't cover the crown either. This is so very upsetting. I have my daughter's wedding coming up and I guess Cigna would rather me go without teeth than to at least help me get my implant and a treatment plan in place. The nurse at my dentist said they have been dealing with Cigna for a long time and they have never ever seen anything like this and Cigna told my dentist office they would cover the claim prior to me having the work done. Now they denied and lied and said they told my dentist they wouldn't cover it. I'm not even going to give them one star. I had o pay $600 to get some plastic fake mouth piece because they don't cover that either!!!!! This is a bad bad company and I will never deal with them again. They really don't care about their customers or their wellbeing. I can't believe they call themselves an insurance company and advertise that they cover implants when they don't!!!!!!!!!

CIGNA insurance is a scam every time Ive talked to them Ive gotten or incorrect information. I looked through CIGNAs list of within network doctors so I went to one of the doctor to initiate care before I did. I called CIGNA to make sure they were within network they confirmed so I went to my doctors appointment. Everyone in the office said I was within network with CIGNA now two years later Im getting a bill **** collections for $620.

Cignas supplemental Health is the worst I have had to deal with getting a claim paid. On 4/11/24, submitted a claim due to an accident, claim was approved a check issued on 5/5/24. they advised it would take 10 business days to arrive. Called on 5/20, was told to give it another week (15 bus. days) still didnt get the check, on 5/28 called requested a check reissued. On 5/31 was told check stopped and needed another 7 business days for re-issuance. Well, on 6/21 was told check re-issued and to allow 10 business day. Requested upper management, supervisor left msg, called Cigna on 7/12 to be told check was never re-issued on 6/21 and that my claim was approved. Wait a minute, I thought the claim had already been approved early may ( when they claimed a check was sent) and the supervisor left me a note in the system, she will follow up with me in 7 business days, how about that? ***this company lies, deceives you, no one knows what they are doing. Who knows when I am getting my check for my ******************************** *****.

Been paying for the insurance for over a year... finally go to use it.... and it has been noting but a pain. Save yourself and chose someone else for your needs. They state they cover and amount.... like 50% but then when you get the Bill, they cover 50% of the contracted amount and charge you 50% of the non contracted amount. Complete scam. Do not use signa.

Rejected my inpatient hospitalization resulting from an accident with absolutely no explanation whatsoever. They claimed it was unnecessary to do this hospital stay on an outpatient basis, but I provided them a medical report stating that this is clearly not the case. There was nothing in any way, shape or form that would allow this to be an outpatient procedure. They proceeded to give me hollow responses, nothing answers, and a complete runaround for almost 1 full month now. I've spoken to 6 different reps and none provided any real response, other than that they are "working on it" and that they mistook the dates because they never even looked at the reports and bills I sent them. All confidence I once had in this provider is lost. They are a scam and cannot be relied on for life-threatening care. They should be ashamed of their business practices.

It is odd that insurance companies, that service my employer wants to communicate with their policy holders through online services. In my case MYCIGNA is to be my portal. Yet, as a policy holder I cannot get access, nor can I get any help online or otherwise. I had CIGNA before and because it was through another employer from years and years ago, CIGNA is unable to figure out how to delete that account and place me into my new account online. I have tried working through my employer, I complained on ******** and I called their tech support. NOTHING. I emailed their help and again I received an idiot AI response. So, I am getting bills from labs and snail mail from CIGNA, but I cannot check online to see if the bills are correct. So, my advice is that if you are going to have CIGNA make sure things work from the outset otherwise you are just a number and they will not help you. I am very much not happy. I pay out hundreds each month and I don't get any help from this corporate monolith of a toilet bowl.
