Can I give 0 stars?? They've done everything BUT help me. Strung me along on a claim that's now many months old over a simple fix that they can't seem to get accomplished (updating my address, which I've provided now numerous times, on my profile in order to send payment to the right location). I get the "it's getting escalated" every time or "I'll call you back to update you in 5 business days" over and over...never happens. They absolutely do NOT do what they say they will. Every time I call to check status they act like it's the first time they've ever heard from me and the responses they do give are different every time. They're not willing to let me speak to a supervisor. It's dead in the water even after my multiple requests. My dental office has also tried multiple times and even they get a different story, excuse, or promise of follow up (also never happens). I'm embarrassed that Cigna gets even a single cent from my hard earned paycheck. They should be paying me to be their customer. Once this claim is paid, I'M OUT. Absolutely AWFUL experience. STAY AWAY!!!!

Signa has the worst customers service ever! No one gets back to address any issues. I only go for my annual physical and mammogram; both should be 100% covered under wellness especially when the doctor and the facility is in the network. Yet, signa sends me bills that it is not covered and no explanation. 8 months and no one calls me back to fix their error. I don’t recommend them to anyone! Lousy customers service.

I pay a fortune for our family's health insurance. My two year old daughter got strep throat and her pediatrician prescribed her penicillin. Cigna denied the claim for the penicillin because they didn't approve the dosage. I had to pay for the penicillin out of pocket. Is this even legal? I don't think it should be. I trust my doctor to prescribe the current dosage of medications- not Cigna!! Cigna is my heath insurance they aren't my doctor! Beware!

I have been trying to work with Cigna for almost a year (Aug 2022) when Dental Claims were submitted for myself, my wife and my dependent. My dependent's claim was denied and my Dentist worked to try and get it resolved but had to give up because Cigna was no help. I have made, at least 8 calls to try and get this resolved. Cigna continues to say that a "record" needs to be established for my dependent and when that is done, I will get a call back. Well, I have never gotten a call back after my 8 attempts to get his resolved. They continue to say that it needs to get referred to an "eligibility specialist." I would not recommend this company in any way. They are extremely hard to business with and the customer service is horrible. All 8/9 times I have called I have to re-explain what the situation is over and over again. It should not be that hard and take this long to get this resolved.

My daughter is a type one diabetic and been trying for three months to get her supply order filled in Cigna. Cigna just points fingers everyday to every other party involved that they can find before they’ll allow diabetes supplies to be sent.

customer service!!! They put me on hold waiting for a supervisor 45 minutes!!! They make it difficult to do anything!

Cigna is the worst health care insurance provider ever. I am now on Medicare, that’s right government provided Medicare, and they do a better job than Cigna. Now that’s saying something!

First I have to immediately get the person to transfer me back to a USA representative as my phone automatically cuts off international calls. Do I need to say more?? Yes! I ordered an individual dental policy. The csr took my money easy enough, but after never receiving a card, and after all my inquiry calls about it, led to “we dont have you in our system,” and even being told by a cigna csr that “we dont sell independent policies and the csr was just getting your money,”…..I cancelled it. Fighting with them now to get my refund.

My husband also just signed up for the medicare advantage through cigna hmo. Problem now, we can not get a dr in our area to take them. Even the ones on their list, dont take hmo.

What has happened to CIGNA? They use to be in the top 3!
