      Even getting these guys to cover a bill instead of discounting it 5 dollars is like pulling teeth. Not to mention trying to submit a claim. The company is a joke you're better off not having insurance.

      Cigna sucks! I have had Cigna and another insurance for years. All of sudden neither wants to be Primary. I’ve called both companies and providers NOTHING!!!
      It appears as if no one wants to do their jobs.

      My Orthopedic Physician suggested Back Surgery for for a multiple reasons. I am new to Cigna and I’ve heard nothing but nightmare stories regarding this company. Not only reading reviews but I’m the news. I regret my company left Blue Shield for this Low Budget Insurance Co. DO NOT SELECT THEM FOR YOUR INSURANCE NEEDS not even for Medicare.

      Sorry, sorry, service. I signed up months ago. Salesman told me everything I wanted to hear, then I find that I don’t have coverage. Supervisor gets on said this was a training issue and he would take care of me and put me on the right plan. Go to Dr, drug store, I don’t have and coverage. I call and get put on hold or sent to another desk to get put on hold. Jan. 16 still no insurance. I want back on Medicare.

      I have to stop contracting with Cigna/Evernorth as a behavioral health provider in MA because no one will respond to me about getting paid. I emailed several people who were responsive when I was contracting, and none have responded. I emailed the email that the provider phone service referred me to, and no response. I would be glad to complete my task on their provider portal, but the form I need is nowhere to be found there. I wish they were available for assistance and communication.

      I've changed my supplemental coverage and Cigna withdrew premium for January and I am trying to get it returned, They are demanding I prove I have new coverage and I have to write a letter signed asking for my premium to be returned. I don't feel this is a good business practice for Cigna. I've sent an email and spoke with their representative and all they keep telling me I need to send a signed letter of cancellation and proof of my new provider

      Worst customer service. Kept getting transferred then put on hold for more than 20 min. This coming from a call center employee I’m always polite but these people don’t care. Transferred to 3 differ t people.

      I think they suck and I’m barely even a customer! No problem on the sales end….Neal Harris was all that and more; but getting your account set up so you can see a listing of approved doctors, correct the INCORRECT mailing address he gave them even after being advised, etc., etc., well forget it! Waited on hold for nearly an hour; then got a live person who couldn’t even converse in English with her whiny girl voice. Now supposedly someone will call me back when it’s my turn in queue?? Yeah, right! If you HAVE not signed on the dotted line, please DONT! RUN FAST…..

      In May 2022 I submitted three claims for myself: May 10th for $129 for my blood work, May 17th $62 and $891.50 for my prescriptions. Also May 17th for my husband for $750 for blood work and prescriptions. I have called over 100 times for updates. More than half of those I get "disconnected." When I do talk to someone, they say its "denied." I ask why, they say there's missing information from the doctor. Okkkkk, so instead of denying it, wouldn't you pick up the phone and call the doctor???? I mean, common sense, right? So, they agree, and call the dr while I'm on the phone. They assure me they got all of the information needed, and they submitted it back. I call back for an update a few weeks later. Denied. Why? Missing information. Ok, so are you not going to call the dr back. They do and assure me they got all the info they need to submit it back. I call back a few weeks later. Denied. Why? Missing information. Blah Blah Blah. Its literally in circles. NOONE knows what they're doing it RIDICULOUS! I WANT MY REFUND NOW! Clearly they need more training or to just shut down. Horrible business!!!!!
