      This is the worst healthcare company that exists. For the 3rd time basic preventative treatments will not be covered by Cigna. Along with the ultrasound for breast cancer screening they now wont cover basic skin treatment to check for skin cancer. This company says its for womens health but clearly they are not. They are only out for profit and could care less if you get sick or not. I would highly recommend anyone that has other options to stay away from this company. For all the money I pay I get nothing from them but headaches and putting out more money than I should.

      I have been trying to obtain payment from CIGNA for a dental treatment I received on 05/2023.They denied it and asked me to review the form with the correct number for the dental pieces. I have communication via chat , they ask for the information, I sent it and there is NO FOLLOW UP or communication after that. I have to call again, and aske why it has not been processed, they give me new requests, I sent them and again they go silent.This is a very bad customer service, every interaction about the case is talking to a new person and initiating a new case.

      Don't waste your money with this company. I filed a claim for my child with Supplement insurance and Cigna turned it down saying it was an existing condition which my child didn't get diagnosed with condition til later. They're going by an old test and which the ** also included in the letter that she had several test to prove that she had Crohn's and Cigna still denied claim. They want you to pay but when you're daughter had surgery to remove part of her intestines Cigna doesn't want to pay when you send in all the documents and **** ********* My rate would be no star's but you have to leave a star for your review to be posted.

      I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent claim by Cigna medical. Over the past 30 days, I have encountered significant challenges in tracking the status of my claim, despite multiple follow-ups. Each time I inquire, I am told different information, leading to confusion and delays. I was previously assured that all necessary documentation had been submitted, yet I was later informed that additional information is required.This experience has been both frustrating and time-consuming. The lack of clarity and consistent communication has made it difficult to trust the process, and I no longer feel confident in continuing my relationship with Cigna. It has become more stressful to navigate this situation compared to my experiences with other insurance ************ a result, I will be exploring alternative options for my insurance needs. I hope this feedback helps to improve the experience for other clients in the future.

      I have been waiting for pre-authorization of needed infusions for my severe ********************. I have been bedridden since September ****************************************************************************************** so because they are backlogged. Meanwhile, Ive lost time at work risk losing my job And unable to function normally every day I call its in pending final review and Im not allowed to know why or speak to the medical reviewer it can only be them by the **************. I call the doctors office and they are also put on a standstill. They have no heart. It seems Cigna is lacking heart.

      Cigna is the WORST health insurance company. I got Cigna ********* and unable to get an appt w/a ************ Doctor for more than a year now!The list of PCPs in my area Cigna has on their website is all wrong.When you try to make an appointment, turns out the Doctor is no longer there or they do not take Cigna When you trying calling Cigna ***************** they DO Not Know what they 're doing, they're lying to ****** NOT BUY Cigna!!!!

      Wish I was able to put a negative star. Worst experience ever. I lost my job and insurance and signed up through Cigna over the phone and I was told that since I had previous coverage that I would be covered that it just needed to be submitted. And come to find out weeks later that, that was a complete lie. I asked for a refund for half the month and was informed that I had coverage(which I was not able to use). I don't ever recommend this company and with all the negative reviews how are they still in business??

      Chipped my tooth and called ***** provider on their website and none were taking new patients.Called Cigna and they said they would find someone for me and call me back. They didn't call me back. I called them the next day and they called some more places and said they found one and when they went to transfer me I got disconnected. I tried calling them that day which was Friday and no answer. I called the dentist on Monday and they said they were not taking new patients. I mentioned CIgna called and spoke with them on Firday and they told me that was not possible since they are closed on Fridays. Calling Cigna again and starting the process all over. Its been a week with a chipped tooth and still can't find a network provider. I even agreed to go out of state!

      I was forced to switch to Cigna last year because my employer eliminated any other health insurance provider. It was normal subpar insurance, until today when I got a letter from my kids pediatrician office stating Cigna refuses to reimburse the doctor's office at the market rate that the rest of their competitors does, and therefore they are forced to terminate their contract. Corporate greed is despicable and because of Cigna's cheap values, my health compromised daughter will lose all of her doctors. This is a disgusting example of a company that supposedly prioritizes patient health. They prioritize the money in their pockets, and that's it.
