      I have had Comcast for many years. Suddenly, my monthly charge went up $36 a month without any notice. As an 80 yr old woman I need to keep track of my bills . This all happened as I was changing to **** which is included as part of my rent at ******. I got a threat from Comcast on my cell phone that they were going to take me to a collection agency. It has since been deleted. I have had many problems with Comcast as their service has been problematic. I don't know if this situation has been resolved by Comcast. I would suggest that anyone looking for service to avoid this company.

      A few months ago I called to see if there were any promos to reduce my bill cost. They told me if I added an iPad to my account, it would reduce my cost. I agreed to the activation fee and then proceeded to get billed monthly. This increased my bill by over $40 and the promotion was very misrepresented. In addition, they will not send me return authorization, even though they told me I could return it for my money back.

      I have a business with an internet line and another used for Voip (internet-based phones). When they came to hook up the phones, they disconnected our original modem and moved our internet and phone to the same modem. It stayed this way for seven months until we had a problem, and a technician came out to fix another issue. He was the one who found the problem. We had been paying for two internet accounts and were only hooked up to one for 7 months. When we complained, Comcast said it wasn't their fault and wasn't willing to compensate us for 7 months of double billing.

      April 15 my service was disconnected and I called and made an arrangement to pay my bill by 5/31 he said I had to pay the entire balance, however on May 22 they debited my account for $331 and some change when I called Xfinity they told me they have no record of me calling in no record of anyone telling me that I had to pay by the end of the month my question to them was if my service was disconnected in on April 15 and I didnt make a payment How was my service restored if I didnt speak to anyone I feel like they are lying to me because they have the account watcher that can tell when your account has money in it and they snatched the whole entire amount . that Im upset that they took the money out of my account. I do have other bills that I had to take care of when I called. The guy made the big deal stating that it was 10 days from today. I dont care if it was three days, Im a single person. My money is very valuable and I have to live on a budget. This has really thrown me off budget as I cannot afford to lose any money or have it go somewhere where I hadnt planned for it to go I did make arrangements to pay my bill by the 31st and not by the 22nd this was an inconvenience for me and I dont like how they are lying and dont keep record of the call. I would like that call to be pulled because I feel like Im being misled and I would like to have some type of compensation rather than $25 which is another thing my bill is supposed to be $50 a month and is $90. They have all these fees that dont make sense and I dont I dont agree with it and I didnt agree

      Worst service ever! Many Internet and TV outages. When you call during an outage the automated phone system will not allow you to speak with a *** until the outage is over. They removed my phone number off our account without stating they were doing so even though I've been the one to call on the account for two years. They continue to increase the bill annually without us making changes so you have to call yearly just to get the plan back and reduce your monthly for the same channels and they do so without telling you. Terrible terrible service. Long hold times, hope you don't need a technician to come out to fix anything. I have lost countless hours going round and round due to poor billing practices, outages, and any service or customer service needs.

      Never again will I do Comcast. After 10 years I called to disconnect my service and I was told I have to pay an extra months fee because I cant cancel for 30 days. I dont have a contract so I have to pay an extra month before I can cancel. This is unacceptable and a total rip off.

      I do not recommend Xfinity! Xfinity has the worst customer service ever. Do not sign up for auto pay because they will charge you indefinitely for your bill and you will have to go to your bank and cancel your card to stop them from charging you. Do not trust the representative when they tell you your service is disconnected. They are lying. Make sure you get a confirmation number every time you have an interaction with them. I do not recommend them. Try your local cell phone provider first.

      They signed us up for a promotion said several times they would do the promotion spoke last with them on 5/3 and today said they would not honor the promotion. We cancelled on the spot. We will be working to get rid of our internet as well. What a nightmare!!

      My brother passed away last fall and I needed to secure his home while it went through probate. So I (being a long time customer of *********************** got an Xfinity internet hookup and installed a security system. Three months later (March) the courts allowed us to sell the home so after closing on the house I returned the equipment and called to cancel. ( I have a confirmation number). They canceled that address as well as my home address. I had to call to get my home address turned back on... (they are in two different states!) For the next two months I was not billed for my brothers home but yesterday I received a bill for it. Like many people that have left reviews here, it took hours of chat and then additional hours on a phone call talking to people that I could barely understand. I received an email confirming the cancellation beginning yesterday (May 20) which means that they have not retroactively cancelled back to my original March cancellation date. I cold not get them to send anything in writing stating that I owed no money, I could not talk to anyone with authority, I could not get anyone to even agree with me about the fact that I cancelled in March even though I had a confirmation number, and I do not feel that the situation has been resolved as of this writing. I fear that I will still be charged. I have been a comcast/xfinity customer for over 20 years and nothing has made me consider shopping them until now. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!!!! They don't deserve one star!
