      A pharmacist who is new at Rite Aid ***********************, West Hills CA would not refill my ****** prescription that I have been getting FOR YEARS AT THE SAME AT THE SAME LOCATION AND DOCTOR up until last month. I am 66 and suffer from extreme insomnia. She said she didnt approve of the dosage even though I got a pre authorization the same day as the refill request due to switching insurance plans. I dont feel that a pharmacist can contact my doctor to discuss my health and her opinions on my dosage. That is against HIPAA rules. I have taken this medication for over a decade with no issues with any pharmacy. This has caused extreme anxiety and will not be able to sleep. The same pharmacist also allowed the wrong medication to be delivered for a different medical issue which can have an adverse effect taken with the prescription I had picked up the previous day. There were 2 medications prescribed and one was a gel. The one delivered, ******** is a capsule which may cause nerve damage when combined with ******. I spoke to my doctor and was told she did not authorize the medication yet the pharmacist put the blame on the doctor saying it was prescribed but cancelled. They are still liable for delivering the wrong medication and it is their responsibility to contact the patient to alert them not to take it if any mistake on their part occurred. In conclusion, this pharmacist has caused me physical and emotional distress for no valid reason.

      I bought a heating pad and I didnt like that it kept turning off so I asked to return it I bought it online and I wasnt able to return to a store so I contacted customer service and they told me they had to submit a request for a refund then i never heard from them again no refund no communication nothing.

      Date of transaction was Dec 18, 2022. Rite Aid insisted that I make a copay for blood test strips of $9.98, and refused to bill my insurance co for that amount through ********* I have spoken to my insurance co, which has also paid them this copay (on Jan 17 2023), and when I went back to Rite Aid, they refused again to refund the $9.98. Quite frankly, I wonder how many others have been in this same situation, and how many times Rite Aid has been double paid. I have a very tough time believing that either I am the first or the last. I have the initial receipt and supporting information from the insurance co., but have no way to upload it.

      On 1/23/23 after having a major surgery my physician called in a prescription to the rite aid pharmacy store number *****. Later that night my daughter went to pick the prescription up and one of the technicians told my daughter they never received it. After my daughter provided proof of the prescription being sent over, he then said they didn’t have the meds at the time and couldn’t fill the prescription until Wednesday. On Wednesday, 1/25/23 we returned to get the medicine and were told that the wrong dosage of the medication had been sent to them. We were then given a new pick up date of Friday. On Friday morning, 1/27/23 when I returned I was told that they hadn’t had time to go through the medications delivered to them. I left and returned on Saturday 1/28/23 to pick up my prescription and I was told that they NEVER ordered the meds. I then asked the individual, if they could just give me my prescription so that I could take it to another pharmacy? I was then ignored and the technician went on to help another customer while I stood there. When I asked again if they were going to give me my prescription, I was told that they were “short staffed.” Then, I was told that I have to go find another pharmacy that has the prescription have them to contact rite aid for the prescription and they would send it directly to the new pharmacy but they couldn’t give me back my prescription. This medicine is to treat my heart condition. Without these medications, I’m at high risk for a heart attacks and strokes.

      I purchased some stuff at the store and was wondering why my purchases where always a dollar amount and never change. Well I finally looked at a receipt and the change went to a charity ********. Had no clue what that was, so went on line and seems rite aide has scammed many people. I never donate and money. So how did this happen and I want my money back. I work hard for my money and help out my niece wit 4 kids that’s my charity case. So please give my money back.

      Wellness+ Members can elect to round up their change automatically, every time they shop at Rite Aid, or they can choose to be asked every time they shop.  These choices are made by selecting the appropriate button on the pin-pad by answering Yes, Yes this time, or No. 

      ******** enrollment can only be done via the pin-pad or online.  The store associates do not have the ability to enroll you in this program.  You or members of your household may have inadvertently selected to round up every purchase.

      I purchased a stand alone toilet safety rail on 11-19-22 from RiteAid.com on line. The item was no longer needed so I paid over $30 to *** the item to Rite Aid per their return policy. *** tracking shows the item was received by Rite Aid on 12-13-22. I have emailed 4 times to get a status on my refund per their policy but have had absolutely no response and you cannot reach any live person on the phone as I tried that 3 times also. I want my money refunded for the purchase price. I would also like my shipping cost of $32.56 refunded considering the horrible customer service demonstrated by Rite Aid.

      My dr submitted a prescription and the pharmacist began questioning me like I was some drug addict just because I have tattoos on my hands. ****** me mymed would be ready in 1.5hrs and cost 49.00  because my ins wouldn't cover. When I asked if he had a manager, he asked if I still wanted my meds today. I asked if he was threatening me by holding my meds and he said yes. Then he said they'd be available tomorrow. When I got very upset, he decided to then submit it to my ins, when he knew they wouldn't cover it. How can a pharmacy do this just because a customer is upset and wants to talk to a manager?

      The pharmacists and pharmacy technician **** and ******* at the rite aid location at ******************* Wilkinsburg PA ******* refuse to fax over my prescription for *********** *** 50 mg to the ***** ***** on ************* ************. At 2:47 pm I called the Williamsburg rite aid and told them ***** ***** would be calling to have a prescription transferred over, the pharmacist said she saw the request and would fax it over. I called back an hour later at 3:52 pm and asked the status of the prescription transfer and they said they were really busy and promised definitely within 2 hours the ***** ***** pharmacy would have my prescription. So I called back at 5:51 pm exactly 2 hours they still did not send anything over and the pharmacy tech ******* started laughing, so I asked to speak to the pharmacist **** and she started laughing too and they kept hanging up on me. I finally got back thru at 6:37 pm because they stopped picking up the phone and the pharmacist **** said she would call over and give a verbal transfer, I waited till 6:50 pm & ***** ***** said the rite aid still hadn't called. So I called the rite aid back at 6:51 pm asking them why no phone call to ***** ***** yet she said she was gonna call immediately. I ask the ***** ***** if rite aid called she said still nothing. So I call the rite aid back at 6:54 asking still why no prescription transfer and she said we have the wrong number. So at this point, all I can do is ask for help. These pharmacists are violating their oath to do no harm because they know I need my prescription its snowing outside, and they literally refuse to send it and keep laughing every single time I call. Can you please get your pharmacy to fax over to the ***** ***** at ******************************* my prescription for *********** *** so that I can get it filled, I included my call log to show Im not lying, they refuse to give me their services.

      I ordered 4 items online on December 21, 2022. The order number was # ********* and the USPS tracking number was # ******************************. I received the ear plugs and throat care that I ordered but not the two eyeliner pencils on December 24, 2022. The box had a note that read the eyeliner pencils would be shipped separately by ground because of ingredients in them. I haven't received the pencils. I emailed rite aid customer service on 12/29/22 to check on the order. The representative told me I received the entire order. I responded that I had received part but not all of the order. The representative didn't respond. I called rite aid customer service on 01/11/23 to check on the order. The representative told me that because the order had one tracking number, I must have received the entire order. I told her I had not but she could not help me.

      I was receiving multiple phone calls about the same thing, a recording, from my pharmacy. I called to ask them if they could do some thing about it, as it was annoying. I got about seven phone calls in 10 minutes about the exact same medication. The woman who answered would not give her name. She yelled at me, laughed at me and told me there was nothing she could do. I said who can and she said I dont know. I said would you look into it please and she screamed no. Someone is trying to fix it but we dont know if its going to work. I said I do not want to receive multiple calls over and over but she was very argumentative screamed at me and then passed me to the pharmacist. The pharmacist also refused to give her name but I later found out that it was ****. She yelled at me and said she heard the entire conversation. I told her she did not hear my end of the conversation. But she told me that I was abusive she called me obnoxious, said she hated me laughed at me and told me she was having me kicked out of the store. I really dont care because I dont want to do business with people who are this abusive. The pharmacist hung up on me so I called back to find out who I could talk to over her head. The person who answered said Yep thats me. I said you are over the head of the supervisor? She said yes. I am. Then I later found out that she was the pharmacist that I spoke to before. She lied to me. She swore, lost her temper, and called me names again. This is not the right way for people to be. Its a small store, so Im sure everyone could hear her. She told me she was with holding my medications from me which could be dangerous to my health. She then told me to give her the name of a location and she would have them transferred. I dont know if that was done. She threatened me with the police. I asked again for the name of her boss and she said call one800 Rite Aid. she withheld the info I was looking for. I called one 800 Rite Aid and it is disconnected.
