I had been doing business with Rite Aid pharmacy in Spokane WA at their location on *******************. going on 2 years. come Jan. 1st, 2023, this store and another were closed for the holiday, but a Rite Aid pharmacy at *************** was open that day where I brought a valid prescription that had 1 refill left to be filled. I was told it could not be filled due to the fact the pharmacist would have to physical call my store by phone for some unknown reason, which was closed. You would figure all the Rite Aid computers and their data files on customers would all be accessible to any Rite Aid employee to check on verifying refills, valid prescriptions, etc. etc. I was then told to come back the next day when all stores would be open, and they could fill it then. I was then told they only had 18 pills available on my 2nd trip back to store and received the 18 pills. I was then told to return Sat. 01/07/2023 to pick up remainder of my meds some 52 pills. Apparently, I was told wrong because I could not pick up on said date because it was "Too early"? and to come back Sunday Jan. 8th to do that. I counted around 4 wasted trips, back and forth with Rite Aid and being told wrong information from their employees. I do not know if they were doing this on purpose or just being mean, but I will never shop, visit any of their stores or pharmacy's. They are either very stupid or intentionally try and upset elderly disabled people like myself. The funny thing is they ask for your phone number if the pharmacist has any questions or concerns, he could call and let you know. They never called me once to explain anything or to tell me not to come. No phone calls and traveling 4 to 5 times to get a valid Rx filled is unacceptable.Business Response

I only answered your contact with me in regard to Rite Aids response that I was satisfied with what they said, they were to contact me within 5 business days after speaking to their upper management. Defective Product:Rite Aide's ******** "Easy Grip Toenail Clipper" 14.99 Soon after I bought the product in your Brea, Ca store, one of the "easy grips" fell off. Most of these coupons have a disclaimer that it cannot be combined with other offers or promotions, which can include clearance sales. The Rite Aide Pharmacy in Rosedale Queens is not answering the phone to refill prescriptions'. I have called several times and my doctor's office does not get an answer using the prompt for a Medical office when they call.Business Response

The nature of this complaint is simply customer service. The pharmacy technician by the name of ******/****** do not possess the basic skill of service to a human being. Over the phone when trying to fulfill a simple prescription is met with inadequacy. Instead of problem resolution her/he only response “there’s nothing I can do” however upon reaching out to a different store the issue was resolved completely with grace and patience. If it wasn’t for the service provided the provider wouldn’t be necessary. He/She has a history of being abrasive and useless when situations arise. On January 2nd 2023 I went into rite aid at 1:03 I got done my transaction basically I went got some candies I have previously purchased them about maybe a couple of days ago around Christmas time at the rite aid in Owings Mills had no problem they were like $2 and some cent a box so I want you to randallstown store when I got to the register it was another lady there she had a bunch of Christmas things and I went to she let me go in front of her I had probably like 30 boxes of candy so basically they didn't have any signs posted but because I had went to the other rite aid and it was Christmas candies I knew that they would probably be even more often the 60% got to the register they was only 50% off so basically I asked a young man to contact his manager which he did the man that you came up there very rude the candy end up coming to like 117 I use some of my rewards points which was $5 and then I paid with my EBT card they still wanted me I had to put up 30 cent out of there I asked her why am I playing 30 cent because what is the text it's nothing she was just rude and up nauseous and Friday do not do something about these practices with your management not on the rent things this supposed to be on sale that you went to our rite aids and had no problem and they gave it to you correct price when Christmas items is on sale 60% off and then she tried to go and basically get more money out of the store because the register wasn't ringing it out right basically I will contact another entity over the better Business bureau if something is not done because it's against the law to cheat a consumer and that is what they are doing and she act like she cannot override it to honor the price but she wants to charge people more if it's not fixed in my money it's not corrected and gave it back to me I will be connect contacting somebody over rite aid corporate and over BBB to get something doneBusiness Response

To all it may
concern. And that should be more than a few:
This letter
is a complaint regarding a sole pharmacist's behavior at the Rite Aid pharmacy
(#****) located **** **** ***** ******, Port Huron, MI *****. There is no
online portal or phone option to make a complaint within the Rite Aid Corp.
I submitted a
prescription (not controlled substance) online for refill 12/04 or 12/11. I do
this early to allow sufficient time for contact with doctor. I resubmitted the
refill request Sunday Dec. 18. I called the pharmicist (******) Sunday Dec.
18th @ 6:53 pm to inquire if my doctor's office had relayed the RX refill.
****** told me, "I've sent both of your requests to your doctor and have
not heard from them." I called my doctor's office early Monday morning and
talked with an administrator. She told me Rite Aid (******) didn't submit any
refill request until Sunday eve (after I'd talked to him on the phone). Then, on
the morning of Dec. 19, I received a Rite Aid e-mail stating the RX was due for
a refill.
This same
scenerio has occured several times . . . provoking . . . and wasting my time
and my doctor's time. I've called the customer service number. No response 1st
time. No option to complain the second time.
One day, a
few months ago, I phoned the pharmacy. I identified myself and inquired per an
RX. A young female tech replied, "You have a behavior problem". A
young pharmacy tech shouldn't be diagnosing. It came from ******. Why would a
pharmicist say that to an employee? Cause . . .when you push people down it
artificially raises the "pusher's" status. Condecsending at its
worst. With Rite Aid's customers!
I've come to
conclude ****** is either incompetent, has sociopathic tendencies, or both.
He's imature and a liar, schemer and manipulator. He, perhaps, is attempting to
increase his status by assigning himself authority which isn't his.
There's more
. . . but why delve. I confronted ****** per his behavior Dec. 22. ****** then
informed me he'll no longer fill my RX's. So who wins with that ceased
activity? I can have RX's filled many places . .and delivered. Rite Aid have
too many customers?
Is Rite Aid
more business oriented or more people oriented? What's the difference between
two? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Feed your ego or feed your profits.
Please don't
respond to this complaint with a generic, scripted, or standardized response
e.g., "The Rite Aid Corporation values all our customers . . . .

The Rite Aid pharmacy located on ********* in Williamsburg, VA is not filling prescriptions or answering phones for inquiries. I called for a renewal of medication December 19th and have still not received it. My husband went to the pharmacy on 12/22, and it was not filled and was told to "wait for the text" for pickup. Switched my prescriptions from Wolcott CT Rite Aid because they have no permanent pharmacist, switch to the Waterbury location where I was told the pharmacist is there every day. Now they open and close when they choose, it doesn't matter if you need to pick up a script or not, it was just posted on the drive thru window they will be closed from 12/22 and reopening on 12/26. How can it be legal that they open and close as they wish. What happens if you need a script or have a controlled substance that can only be filled at certain times and it happens to fall when they decide to close. This needs to be investigated, have spoke to corporate 3 times, they have done nothing except call backs which ou never get.Business Response
