I have been trying to cancel Aramark services for about 10 months now. I started off with a first aid kit from them and when I realized it wasn't getting filled the way I was told it would be fill, I called and complained. Nothing changed. Service was still crappy and the driver was very rude. After the 27th complaint to customer service, I had the driver take the first aid kit out of my shop. A few days later I receive a threatening letter that I'm contracted and have to pay $5000 to get out of said contract. They auto charge my card every single week for inconsistent service. Fast forward.. now I'm stuck with their towels, that I don't use but have in my shop because I still can't get out of this contract. I dont want or need Aramark and my complaints have gone unheard. I've also asked numerous times to switch my billing to once a month and my account still gets charged once a week. This is a horrible company to do business with. As a small business I can't really afford to buy out a contract I didn't know I had.. and $55 a week for nothing adds up. I just want to dissolve any agreement with this company and maybe get some of my money back.Initial Complaint

The ************ had a contract with Aramark to provide carpet runners, mop heads and first aid supplies on a weekly basis. In late 2021 the quality of service began to drastically fall off including not providing carpets at all for weeks on end, and when carpets were provided they were in terrible shape at at times. The * made numerous attempts to contact Aramark to resolve this matter with no response or improvement. The facility received no service at all from the second week of October 2021 and until the time which we cancelled the contract. Our Maintenance Director issued a letter stating the * was cancelling the contract on 11/22/21 effective immediately, yet we still have been invoiced for dates beyond the date of cancellation and into February of 2022. Incidentally no service was rendered on those dates. On 1/28/22 I sent an email to Customer Service requesting the numerous rugs that had been left in our lobby be picked up and that our Maintenance Director had been calling to have them retrieved, they never responded. On 2/20/22 I sent an email to Customer Service outlining the *’s position on this account, our frustration with the lack of response and the reason we were leaving Aramark and disputing the invoices. There was no response. Aramark continued to bill us through Feb of 2022. On March 8, 2022 we sent a certified letter with return receipt to customer service to help resolve this account and received no response. The ******* **** has now been turned into collections by Aramark for the invoices that we have been disputing the last 8+ months. We full intend to fight the charges and are requesting the BBB help us get a response from Aramark to put our account balance at $0Initial Complaint

We have had Aramark Since we opened our restaurant. Within the last year we have had nothing but problems. We don't get our service on our delivery day and not show up that week at all, but still charged. They said several times they would credit our account but yet to do so.. we have had broken soap dispensers that they were suppose to replace months ago. And still haven't but still being charged foe using them and the soap for them. We have to buy our own soap now.. We have had to take towels home to wash them because they don't bring ours but still am charged for them.. The list goes on and on.. When we call they always say they put a message in to the district manager to call us and we have yet to hear from him/her.Initial Complaint

I have been dealing with Aramark since 2019 and service was decent in the beginning. I signed a 2 year contract for them to deliver rugs and rags. After a few months of service, the quality began to decline: wrong rugs brought; no rags; automotive rags given to me instead of bar rags for my beverage business; missed deliveries; no communication; when the 2 years ended I immediately canceled my service yet they continued to charge me weekly fees etc... I canceled with corporate in October of 2021 because I could not get a local person from Rochester to contact me. Now they have sent my account to collections stating we owe over $1700 to them- I will not and cannot pay this- they never [provided services written in contract and I paid monthly for 2 years. Many other issues beyond this but my main concern is getting this debt out of collections and cleared.Initial Complaint

We decided to terminate the service early because we didn't appreciate being scammed everytime. To describe: We order 50 towels, we sometimes get 30 torn towels. We order mops, then we either don't receive any mops or receive thin mops that barely can be used for mopping. To make it worse if we don't receive the order of towels or mops they still CHARGE you. How many times we have been billed no matter what and they don't even tell you. We have to count everytime and complain that we have been charged for items we have not received. If you call their office they cannot help you; you have to go through their delivery driver because apparently even the district manager, sales rep, or customer service reps do not have the authority to refund or give authorization to send the missing items. They used to send paper statements and have you sign but now there is no verification. So for the reasons above we decided to cancel and they told us it would be a breach of contract and we would have to pay a breach of contract early termination fee. Totally fine we decided it is better to pay the thousand for breach of contract than continue with aramark. We told the delivery driver we are going to cancel and we also called the office to let them know we are canceling the service and they can provide the final invoice with all money due including the breach of contract early termination fee. They sent a letter of the TOTAL money owed and we wrote them a check, which they cashed. Then every other month aramark would send invoices AGAIN that said we have to pay the fee and money owed for services (which we did not receive any service cause we cancelled all services). We called and called to no avail being charged after paying everything. Letters kept coming and we kept calling and emailing again to no avail Today we received a call from collections agency that aramark says we owe them money which we ALREADY PAID. Instead of paying $1250 we can pay $800 to settle. Dear aramark we paidInitial Complaint

After not receiving new rugs on our week to get new rugs Aramark continued to send us statements for the week in question. The driver had called us and stated that he was short rugs and could not deliver to us. After what we feel is a breach in our contract by them they continue to ask us to buy out our contract because they feel that even though the rugs were dirty we still had product in our store. Our contract clearly states clean rugs every 2 weeks. It was also stated to us that calling the Accounts receivable department was not how we were supposed to go about resolving this issue.Initial Complaint

August 25, 2021- Scrub pants were delivered with seeds stuck to them. These were not properly laundered.September 30, 2021- A formal compliant was sent to ********************************** regarding paper towels, toilet paper and soap dispensers being checked and re-stocked weekly. *********************** was then added to the communication. There was an in-person meeting (October 5) and we again walked through the facility to identify all the restroom locations. We were also over-charged on our bill. 15 days later, and three follow up attempts on our side, a credit was applied to our account. October 21, 2021- Our restrooms were completely out of soap and there was no additional soap left within the facility. It was also noted on this email chain that the soap dispensers were not being routinely checked, otherwise it would have been caught on the weekly drop-off of supplies. March 29, 2022- Email was sent asking for clarification on PAR levels of scrubs. Pictures included to show how many extra sets there were within our facility. Met with Antar in person, and continued to follow up on April 5, 2022, asking when our quantities would be adjusted. Followed up again on April 12, 2022, because there was zero communication from Aramark regarding updating our quantities. May 18, 2022- Invoice received and our scrub inventory totals were completely misaligned. On May 31, 2022 there was another invoice now showing loss charges and the scrub quantities still being inaccurate. June 2, 2022- Soap, towel and toilet paper had not been checked within the facility and our team is doing the re-stocking. Was also told there would be a credit applied to our account and we would receive an email (similar to the invoices) showcasing that amount.**** ******* followed the contract and sent a certified letter with 30's day to "resolve or begin resolve" the contract and Aramark has not resolved our issues. Aramark is now threatening breach of contract and demanding payment for early exit.
