If I could give them a NEGATIVE STAR I would. I was told I I would get 6 points on every dollar I charged, and I ask them several times SIX points! Yes they told me, but what *** neglected to tell me was the points werer only WORTH 1/500th of a *****. So DECEITFUL when a different PNC points card does truely give you the 1 point on the dollar. I hadn't used this particular PNC card since 2023, and I thought they were trying to entice me into using it again. Years ago I had PNC checking, savings, auto loans and credit card accounts, and I got rid of all of them (accept their credit cards) because of their (PNC) deceiptful banking practices. I have since paid off and closed all accounts and I'm schredding my deceitful credit cards, because it is my opinion that this is the WORST BANK in the world, and their customer service (sounded young) representatives need to be retrained with common sense and courtesy.

I am in an active Chapter 13 and have continued paying my mortgage with PNC. I listed my home after going through the proper bankruptcy channels and advising my attorney. My house went under contract. My attorney and I asked for payoff on 6/16 knowing this would take longer due to the bankruptcy. *** was given the fax number for the pay off to be sent to. On 6/20 the payoff was sent however someone at *** faxed it to the wrong number and using a 5 instead of a 7. This was their error. It is now 7/11. My house was supposed to close on 7/9. My attorney and I have been trying to get the payoff sent AGAIN since 7/2! This has delayed my closing, payment of the loan and funds sent to myself and my attorney. I was just told the delay is my fault and due to MY bankruptcy. This is complete incompetence of PNC!! The request was made 3 weeks before closing and while completed within 4 business days the payoff was faxed incorrectly and was a mistake by ***. What constitutes blaming the customer when the error was made by the bank? This is the worst experience I've ever had with a bank. Someone should be accountable for not only the delay in closing of a property but potentially the loss of a locked rate by the buyer! Specifically a woman named ******* blamed me and the bankruptcy for the delay. This is completely unacceptable and appalling since the payoff was sent in a timely manner initially however due to an error by *** with the fax number was never received.

RUN (do not walk) IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION! If you have to choose between getting a PNC bank account or death, please schedule an appointment to see our lord and savior, ***** ****** as soon as possible. I was NOT a *** customer by choice. I have had a ********************** Bank Account since 2010. ********************** was bought out by ****, who was recently bought out by ***. I wish I wouldve known about their horrible track record beforehand. I have been having issues with multiple charges throughout the last year or so. as a result, I had stopped my direct deposit from coming into my account to attempt to catch all of the additional charges. *** allowed 2 charges (Total $700) to go through my account even though there was no money in the account and then chose to charge me overdraft fees for said charges when I obviously already did not have the funds. This practice is wrong and predatory! I NEVER had an issue with overdraft charges during my time with BBVA/Compass because I had opted out of them and all charges were strictly declined. Then the following month, they allowed the same 2 charges to go through and followed up with even more overdraft fees. The second set of fees were reversed, and I was shortly contacted by a rep. *** stated I was 43 days with a negative balance and if it wasnt up to date within 10 days, it would be closed. I told them they could close it that day and send it to collections to be dealt with. Their excuse was well we already paid them so we cant get the money back I understand that, but there was no money to pay them in the first place. I was still depositing around $125 each month in my savings account. I was planning to use this money to reduce the debt until it was paid off. Today, *** decided to take that money along with money from my FATHERS SEPARATE ACCOUNT in order to alleviate the debt. THIEVES! THUGS! This is not okay and neither of us were notified of this upcoming charge. COMPASS WOULD HAVE NEVER! **** WOULD HAVE NEVER!

The girl gone tell me that my card was never locked but I have evidence that my card was locked even in my email it states that my card was locked . I called *** customer service line and the agent wasnt listening to me I asked her for a supervisor over 6x then she kept asking me was my card locked I told her yes and she just kept asking me what I told her . She finally got me to a supervisor and when she did the supervisor going to tell me their escalating this matter and they cannot give me back my funds from a LOCKED card that wasnt suppose to be touched to begin with ! In the 3 years that I have been with PNC Bank they have caused me more harm than good! They keep denying my routine expenses, and also keep closing my debit cards due to fraud scares and a desire to cover their behinds. I finally got wise and I am going to be changing to a more customer friendly bank very soon!

If I could leave 0 or negative stars, I would. They don't care about their customers at all. They don't give clear communication or expectations. Their phone representatives do not give straight forward answers and will "elude" to things that they know you won't understand. They won't give you information regarding your own account. If you make payments on time without missing any for years, but all of a sudden need help, they are not clear in expectations and then will tank your credit after offering "help" for three months. I would recommend going to ANY other bank, besides PNC, to do your business. You will regret being a customer as I have. They force you to jump through hoops to get anything done, but then still don't help you. They refuse to let you escalate situations. They refuse to let you speak to a supervisor or manager, but instead will tell you that they'll put in a call back request, but then you'll never hear from them. It's the biggest headache and waste of time trying to discuss anything with them. They will not care about you. I really hope you hear this warning and avoid them like I wish I had done.

Please avoid and do not finance your vehicle through them. I financed my vehicle through them and paid it really quick. I received the pay off letter but not my title. The claimed that I need to go to *** which I have never done before for other vehicles that I financed through other banks. I went to the *** and the vehicle is not in the system and *** claimed to contact the dealer. The dealer tells me to contact the bank and vice-versa. When I tried to talk to the PNC bank the manager ***** was very rude. I will write reviews and hopefully someone can contact them before I go the legal way since I need my title. It is almost 2 months!

The worst! I had a loan paid on time for 5 years, until one month before the final payment was due. I asked what is the latest date I can pay with out penalty, or hitting my credit report. I was told NO, until 30 days late. So, after 10 days, I get hit with full interest penalty, which I fought for a month, then they reported 30 days late to my credit! PNC Bank has really gone downhill. I should have known when our RE Agent said, by all means don't go through ***. We have been with *** 17 years and are ready to move to another bank. To top it off, when I told EVERY agent we would pull our accounts, NOT ONE even said we hate to hear that. I guess they didn't lie about one thing at least. Just Sad!

*** had a loan with PNC Bank since 2018. I have had the displeasure of having to deal with unscrupulous business practices. At the last 6 months left of my loan the games began. I have always paid my car loan well before the due date using a one time payment method. I had made my payment and I received several calls saying that they had not received my payment. I had to send in numerous documents to verify my payment only to be left in silence. No apologies, no acknowledgement of the error, just nothing. I was also threatened with repossession for a payment that was not even late. Then we fast forward to this month. I have 2 payments left, the last not being the full amount because I have paid extra over the years. *** debited 2 payments from my bank account and first denied the double payment. It was Well you should dispute the duplicate payment with your bank and any *** fees assessed for this ******** will take 3-4 days for the payment to clear and then we can do a refund and that could take additional days.. I will NEVER do business with this bank again. Why would you tie my money up and play games. My bank, who is also in the process of losing my business, finally refunded the duplicate payment. Day from hell!!!
