PNC bank did it again. I received deposits from the woman who purchased my house in Maine. I then had a PNC rep call me and question the deposits, which I explained. Then I received deposits again this morning and it showed a $2400 balance in my account as I had $900 already in the account and another $1,400 kicked in. I then transferred $1,300 into my savings acct at PNC and a few hours later I get a low threshold alert of $0 in every account leaving me with no money for the weekend. I then called and the bank explained that all my transactions were now pending with a $0 balance in all accounts and quite possibly it would be cleared by Monday. So I told them to cancel my transfer so at least I'd have the $900 back in my account and they refused to. What is the most idiotic thing is the fact that the transfer wasn't from an external bank but from the same bank from checking to savings and they still placed a hold on funds that actually existed and were not from a pending deposit. At the very least they should have credited the $900 which was clear and held off in the remainder.

Stay away! They closed my account then decided 2 months later to charge me $300 in an invoice and put me on chex systems and early warning. I got a collection letter and disputed it. You can't close put someone's account completely and 2 months later charge them some random amount. They closed my account and cost me to lose a bunch of money on items sent back as the refunds bounced.

I just left PNC Investments. I moved my retirement investments to PNC in 2018 and everything was fine. My first financial advisor left about a year into my being with PNC and prior to her departure, she sent an email to me to be sure that I am notified of my new advisor. Fast forward to earlier this month. I made a contribution to my retirement account by sending him the check to be processed and deposit into the account (since PNC local branches are not able to do so for me). I did not hear back from the advisor for 2 weeks despite repeatedly reaching out through email asking for confirmation. I finally found time during business hours a few days ago and called to find the number to be disconnected and no longer in service. I, then, reached out to the call center only to be informed that the advisor has left PNC, ironically, on the day that I sent the check. I asked for confirmation when I sent the check and there were no responses; however, it is not unusual for this advisor, since he does not respond immediately most of the time. I was then told that there was no one assigned to my accounts. I asked to speak with the supervisor and only met with "he will reach out to you in the next day or two." I did not hear from the supervisor at any point. The newly assigned advisor finally called the next day to introduce himself. At that point, I have lost all confidence in PNC's ability to treat me as a valued customer. The communication is so poor as there was time for PNC to reach out to all of the old advisor's clients to inform them of the change. They have all of my contact information and I don't see it as any excuse to not keep me informed of the change that was taking place. I also believe that the supervisor should have contacted me to explain the situation; however, never did. I would never recommend PNC Investments to anyone.

I have a credit card with them, and the limit started at ~$7500. I took on some balance transfer offers with a couple of my credit cards and started looking into some mortgages (how dare I) and they slashed my limit down to $500. This will certainly decrease my score and it could lead to a domino effect, probably mainly because I took advantage of 0% balance transfer offers. It's just not fair. I've never had this happen with another company. I regret taking out their card. They can kill my credit limit in a matter of days, but I can only plead for an increase every six months. It's painful how I'm being punished for trying to be a savvy consumer and make good financial decisions. I cannot, in good faith, recommend PNC's credit card to anyone, even with the solid benefits. I cannot, in good faith, recommend their $7/month fee bank account (unless you jump through hoops) to anyone either.

Thier system is always down, passwords never work, they ask you to reset, then when you do, the system states the website is unavailable. Was told thsi was done so that people can not log in to make payments and have clients uncurr late fees. Stay away from this bank and especially thier credit cards. The most unprofessional company i have ever dealt with.

PNC Bank is conducting fraudulent activity. I applied for a loan and was told by *******, Accounts manager, that I was awarded the loan but I needed $200 for PPI insurance. I sent the $200. I was later called and told that I had to pay $500 for the closing cost of the loan. 3 hours later, a ***********************, loan supervisor, that I needed to pay $800 for the closing cost of the loan. I recorded the calls and asked for my money back and the company refused. Be aware with doing business with this company.

I fulfilled my auto loan obligations with PNC bank and four months later I have yet to receive the title to the vehicle I purchased. They advised me that the title was electronically released to the state in which I purchased the vehicle in and not the state I currently live in. After finally getting through to the *** in that state, they advised that no such thing happened. I contacted PNC and they advised that it was released to the current state that I reside in, which turned out not to be true as well. I called PNC back and they advised that they only send out paper stating that the lien was satisfied to the customers that purchase an automobile using their bank, which I've never heard of before. I advised them that I purchased two other vehicles using other banks and after the loan was fulfilled that the banks mailed the titles directly to me. The person on the other end of the line could not seem to understand. They advised me to go to my local *** to get a title, which I tried and was unable to do so because PNC has the title to my vehicle. I do not understand why PNC will not just mail me my vehicle title. I will never do business with this bank again. I heard stories and did not think they were true halfway through my loan process with this bank. But after this experience, I'm starting to believe everything I've read about customers experience with the bank as a whole.
