If I could leave less than one star for this PNC Bank review, I would. First, I have had all types of loans in 58 years, working capital loans (I'm self-employed), mortgages, car loans, small consumer loans. This is not my first rodeo. *** is by far the worst to deal with, in any capacity. My bad review/complaint stem from 2 car loans initiated in 2018 (same month for both cars), which were extended from 6 years to 7, as a result of a deferment offer that I took from *** during covid lockdowns in 2020 that added 3 payments plus interest to the end of my loan, which ended up being AN ADDITIONAL YEAR at over 7% interest. BOTH cars had the deferment, I paid each month normally for six, then past the time when the loan was originally supposed to end (march 2024), got to my last payment on the first car with no problems and got my title mailed to me. Second car was due to be paid off in April. Made my payment as per usual in March, was reported as 34 days late a few days later in error. I only knew because I got notified by Credit Karma that my score had dropped 57 points. I immediately called *** and have been talking with them since March 31st to fix this, many recorded phone calls on both sides, only to be told today (April 29, 2025), now that I've paid off the 3nd car, they weren't going to do anything about fixing my credit score. They claim I was supposed to know that one of the cars had a 'balloon payment' at the end...what?? I was never notified of that, why was the other car loan paid off as usual with no problem? After over $80,000 in two car loans with an extra year added to each purely because of interest accrued since the deferment. I can't even go to their website to see my paid loan and/or see when my title will arrive because they've already wiped me off their website, with the last payment clearing this morning. Unbelievable. If you're considering using *** for any of your banking needs, I have one word of advice: DON'T.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

My home loan was moved to ***. I decided I wanted to closer my escrow and they want to charge me .25% of my loan balance to close it. That is not in my original loan papers which one rep said is what they go by. I put in a request to waive the fee was escalated. I was sent a denial letter saying that they go by what was in the original loan papers, but they have yet to provide proof what is in the original loan papers which I know does not mention a fee.Been a customer for 35 years. What a shame..PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

Pros: One undeniable positive is the excellent benefits package.Cons: Loyalty and experience dont seem to be valued. Poor treatment of long-term employees. Ineffective and unmotivated recruiters. Biased internal hiring practices. Fast and dismissive rejections. Lack of support for internal mobility.Advice to Management: Instead of letting experienced employees walk away and contributing to high turnover, give them a reason to stay. Loyalty should be earned through support, fair treatment, and genuine opportunitynot ignored grievances and passive push-out *********** claim to support military veterans and individuals with disabilities, but in practice, theres absolutely no visible preference or support for those individuals. It feels like a checkbox statement, not a lived value.Take a hard look at how much time and effort is spent hiring and onboarding new employeesespecially when existing staff are expected to train them without any increase in compensation. That kind of burden only adds to burnout and dissatisfaction. Finally, pay attention to the turnover. Look at the departments or individuals consistently losing employees. The root causes arent hiddentheyre just being ignored.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

On April 17th, I received an email that appears to be a response from PNC Bank's "Executive Client Relations" following a concern I submitted via the BBB. However, the message raises serious doubts about its authenticity. The email is vaguely worded, appears automated, and is not properly structured or signed. The individual listedScott U., Executive Client Relationsdoes not appear to be an actual representative of ***, and I could not verify their identity through any official channels. The tone and format of the message do not align with professional correspondence from a major financial institution. This raises concerns not only about the legitimacy of the message but also about how customer concerns are being handled. If this is in fact a valid outreach attempt from ***, it lacks the clarity, security, and professionalism expected.Review fromkiara r

Fraudulent Bank!!! My mortgage was bought by them around 2006 and originally it was fine. I was able to pay online for an additional fee but they later took that option away to try to force you to sign up for an account with them. Since then, I always mailed my payment on the 1st of every month and it wasn't a problem. For the last 4 months, they have been slow rolling processing to charge me late fees. I'm sure that I can't be the only person that they are cheating. I tried to speak with some condescending idiot that told me I needed to contact the ****. Obviously, they are not the problem because they received my payment on time for more than 10 years. Fortunately, I have the funds to pay off this debt so I'm happy to get rid of it and stop being raped by this bank. I will be reporting them to the banking commissioner. Please stay away from these crooks!!!!PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

PNC bank is a piece of c*** No other bank ever asked me aggressively about my passport from other countries. I have always opened an account with my driver's license and social security cards. Besides insisting to know how I like other banks is ridiculous once I made it clear that I'm not interested to discuss my experience with other banks.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.
