    I purchased a $100 gift card for Uber Eats from the website GiftYa.com. The recipient of the gift card tried to use the link and code provided by GiftYa to place an order with Uber Eats using the credit I purchased for her. When she tried using the gift card code to complete her purchase, the code was not recognized. She tried again to use the link and was informed it gift card expired despite the card having no expiration date issued. On my end, the gift card shows it was used even though it never was.

    This business has numerous complaints from customers. I wish I would have researched before purchasing.

    Boy do I wish I had checked BBB before I made a purchase. I tried to buy a $200 visa gift card for my niece's graduation on 05/30/23. You can only buy $100 at a time so I thought, no big deal, I'll buy two. I didn't want to get the app so I used their desktop site and there was no confirmation of purchase so I tried again. Still nothing, so tried once more. Still nothing. The page just looked like it was loading. Then I checked the box for it to send ME the link that I could forward and still nothing. Lo and behold, I got charged 4 times. Sh never received a link and neither did I but the money certainly left my account. I have submitted for help over and over as per their instructions and not even an email saying they've received my request for help. Now I'm just out $400. I want my money back and I want people to be careful with this service. All their good reviews must surely be fake. Terrible experience.

    My 85yr old Mom broke her arm and my brother was trying to send me a Giftya card to get more supplies on Amazon and food from Chillis. He made a mistake on line because he was upset due to my mother’s recent accident and did not have the Giftya app which is fool proof. That mistake alerted their compliance department who have now denied us from ever using them again. I asked to speak to a supervisor and *** explained that he would have the compliance department look again and send another email. Another email came reiterating the above mentioned again. Why are we being discriminated against for making an error?

    SCAM-SCAM-SCAM---Regarding Request ******* *rom your support center filed 5/7/2023. I bought my daughter 2 $100. gift cards for Target for her birthday. GiftYa came up first when I searched for Target gift card. The ad sounded great "instantly delivered-convenience and flexibility of money". I paid them $200 and my daughter activated and used part of her cards-$92 and $24. What was not disclosed is that she had to use her money(her card) and then would be reimbursed up to the $200. that I paid. When she filed for reimbursement she was not credited back so she waited 3 business days per your instructions. The site says you will immediately issue the credit to her card. She contacted you again and was told that you were sorry that she hasn't been credited and that the CREDIT TO HER LINKED CARD FAILED.. You instructed her to unlink her card and link a new card. This whole process is very fishy and has SCAM written all over it. She doesn't have another card to use and isn't going to get one just for you. There must be a reason your initial reimbursement didn't go through. If your electronic transfer isn't working send her a check or do a cash app transfer-or refund my $200 so I can pay her. I would give you zero stars if I could. My daughter needs her money.

    Purchased 2 $300 apple gift cards to pay my bosses vendor. We tried several times to access the funds every attempt failed. An agent said a refund would be applied to my debit card & my account noted. Another rep emailed an hr later said no refund they would just help. Their help already failed so did customer service. I need a $600 refund for service not provided.

    As requested, and confirmed, the order was refunded in full.

    The time required for your payment card issuer to post the release of the authorization is controlled by them (which is typically 1-3 days).

    On/about March 25, 2023, my husband* ****** purchased 2- $100 gift cards to Chico's, a company with whom we had done business for years, for me for our anniversary. Without our express wish or knowledge, GiftYA interceded in this purchase. When I attempted to use what I thought were Chico's gift cards, GiftYA required me to secure a # and pin # from them. After much back and forth with GiftYA , I was able to redeem 1 of the cards, but was told the other card was not valid. I subsequently talked with Myra, a sales associate, who gave me varying explanations about why I could not redeem the card. During several calls, she promised to call me back, but did not do so. Subsequent calls to other associates secured the names of company supervisors Russell ,Ashlee, Warren and Joe, but I was not allowed to speak with either of them. On April 25th, my husband called and finally received a return call from Myra. She told him that "the card is activated, but could not be redeemed for a few days". When we asked why if the card were active, it could not be redeemed, she had no satisfactory reply. What should have, and always had been, a simple transaction was turned into a arduous, time consuming and FRUSTRATING months long ordeal. I found the GiftYa staff to be duplicitous and extremely unresponsive. I question why and how GiftYA was able to insert themselves into what was an act of commerce with another company

    I purchase a gift card from Gift ya for a friend . recipient followed the platform to add to their personal card and when making purchase the gift card failed .

    GiftYa offers recipients three redemption options including 1) linking the gift to a regular Credit or Debit card, 2) selecting a traditional digital merchant eGift card, or 3) selecting a physical VISA card.

    Giftya is a shady, sketchy operation. It is a scam!!

    On March 5, 2023, I purchased a Chipotle gift card for a client to use to have food Door Dashed to her after the recent death of her son through Giftya using my PayPal account which is linked to my Discover card. I received a text from Discover that my credit card had been charged, but never received a confirmation from Giftya. I initiated a chat to inquire, and requested a call from a live person. A person called me back at a late hour, and left a voicemail stating that they had canceled the purchase based on my issue and dissatisfaction, and the fact that the transaction hadn’t reached completion, and there would not be a charge to my PayPal.

    I then I purchased another Chipotle gift card using my PayPal balance instead of my PayPal card (which is linked to my Discover card, thinking maybe that was the issue the first time). My PayPal account was debited, I received confirmation from Giftya, and the e-gift card was received by the intended recipient. I assumed the Discover card had been the issue. Therefore, I went on to purchase SIX (6) additional gift cards for Belk and other businesses through Giftya and had them sent to my mother as birthday gifts.

    However, I was later contacted by the Chipotle gift card recipient, and informed that when she attempted to use the card for her Chipotle, she was told that it had a zero balance, and she was unable to use the gift card, despite the fact that I have been charged for it! At least twice now!

    I have called the customer service number for Giftya, and there is NO option to speak to anyone. It just gives you the option to press for a refund request, and then immediate gives the following recorded message: “In almost all cases, Giftya’s are non-refundable. Please e-mail your refund request and details to [email protected] so we can review your case.”

    This is a SCAM! I want all my payments refunded — immediately.

    The ***** ****** *or $75 for Chipotle was voided out of the Paypal transactions and no funds were captured. I believe our agent sent you the confirmation.

    I have subsequently followed this case up with a direct email message (03/09) and a voicemail (03/10) and I would be happy to call you whenever convenient.

    This company preys on elderly. My grandma purchased what she thought was a gift card for me and it was a scam. The screenshots are the text I received as well as the screen when you click on the link

    My son sent me a $100 gift card for outback from this place to my phone. It said you had to register your own card and then would be reimbursed after the card was used. I went to outback spent the $100 and was never credited back like Giftya said I would be. I’ve tried contacting them twice sent them the text messages back they sent me as well and still nothing. My son reached out to them and he was told it would only take 1-3 days it’s been over 15 days and still nothing so not only was I not credited back the $100 my son spent $100 for nothing. This company is a scam and everyone should know.
