My daughter bought me a beautyrest mattress for Christmas last year. Same issue as the review below. After ONE night, the mattress was permanently compressed on the side. I was told to stand a ruler in the depression, did so and was then told I was pushing the ruler into the mattress. I submitted many photos illustrating the compression by standing a dowel on the floor with the mattress edge height clearly 4 fault marked on both sides, and was told to send other photos showing a rod or piece of wood across the bed to show the depression and no matter how many times I explained that their request would not show the compression because it would just follow the slant to the opposite edge, they insisted that was the only way theyd consider it faulty. My daughter was told those mattresses arent meant to be sat on and they dont warranty the edge cording?!! So I have to take a running leap from the door and dive into my bed?? Levin forces you go through beautyrests militant return office instead of handling the return themselves. I again sent detailed photos clearly showing the 4 drop between the side I use and the other side and was told they cant do anything unless I send a photo with a ruler stuck into the mattress showing OVER a 2 drop. That measurement does not show the problem! I did it anyway and was told I shoved the ruler down into the mattress. Good God. Do NOT buy Beautyrest, they arent what they used to be and will rob you. Shame on Levin for handling their brand and washing their hands of responsibility for something they sell. Ill never shop there.Levin Furniture, LLC

Warning!! Buyers please be Aware! I purchased a Beautyrest mattress set and frame 3yrs ago. Mattress is sagging and you can feel the springs. Mattress has a 10yrs warranty. Warranty claims denied claim, after submitting everything required. Many pictures sent showing sagging mattress! Highly dissatisfied customer! Be prepared before Purchasing!Levin Furniture, LLC

Thank you for your review. Your warranty claim was denied due to the mattress must be sagging 1.5 or more. Your side grid wires are not under warranty. This warranty is that of the manufacturer, which we service. Please resubmit your pictures showing the measurement of 1.5 or more to be deemed as a manufacturer defect. When measuring your mattress, please measure from side to side not top to bottom. You can use a ruler or tape measure to measure the distance from your straight edge to the mattress. 1 starI feel obligated to tell you about a place NOT to buy furniture Levin furniture. We brought 2 power love seats in May of this year. One is perfect, half of the other is perfect. Weve had 4 service calls to fix the defective loveseat - they were going to order new parts but found the company was out of business, so Now they are stating that it isnt a manufacturing defect but the way we sit on it and there is nothing they can do. Mind you we sit on all 4 sections of these 2 love seats and this is the only problem one. Tried to escalate to a higher manager but she stated there was no one higher except ****** ***** and he doesnt talk to people. So, Im stuck with a poor quality piece of furniture - thanks Levin for standing behind your product - NOT!! *********************Review fromJoy W

I will never shop at Levin Mattress/Furniture again. I recently bought a "luxury" Beautyrest Harmony Diamond Plush mattress at Levin Mattress in Stow, Ohio. I tried out several mattresses in the store and chose this one since the floor model seemed extremely comfortable. It was a splurge for me at $1799 since I recently retired. I bought it with the goal of comfortable sleep in my retirement years. The assistant manager, *******, was my salesperson. During the transaction, he offered to sell me an additional $100 mattress cover and $100 pillow, but I declined this pricey option. He did not tell me that I could not return the mattress UNLESS I bought the pricey cover and pillow! Immediately, I discovered that when I sat on or laid on the mattress, my body sank down to the hard foundation below the plush topping. I have aches and pains every night now, depending on which arm, leg or hip is against the hard foundation. I never had ANY aches with my previous mattress, NONE!! A few weeks after this torment, I called *******, who then explained I could not return or exchange the mattress due to not buying the expensive cover & pillow! I was devastated. He suggested to give it 90 days to get used to the mattress. There has been no improvement in the 3 months since. I am still making payments of $320/month on a mattress that is causing body pain. I'm hoping that with this review, Levin will reach out to me with a solution of either returning or exchanging the mattress for one that is comfortable.Levin Furniture, LLC

We have a service call in our system for the mattress sinking. Once we receive the pictures and form back, the bedding specialist will review the pictures. If the mattress meets the specifications of the manufacturer to be deemed defective the customer will be given the option to reselect and get a mattress of the same or more value.Review fromMegan R

Why do you even have to leave a star? 0 is what my rating is. We purchased a leather sectional and platinum warranty and it was delivered Nov. Of 2021. That ******* the reclining portion was broken and we called because it was under warranty. Someone came to look 2 weeks later and said the part needed ordered. After 3 months I heard every excuse as to why it wasn't in yet, Chinese new year, COVID, others were having the same issue and to part was limited. At 6 months and several phone calls that I was told a supervisor would call me back but that note was never given later, the part finally came in.The recliner leaned a ton once it was "fixed" but we weren't sure calling was worth it. The recliner broke again less than 6 months later, same-ish area, we were told it was worn. It has now been 3 months and once again we are waiting on the part. Once again I can't get a phone call back. The wonderful tech commented that he would fix the lean for me next time he comes, this man is the only good thing about this whole experience. Today, I finally spoke with someone once they scheduled the repair. I talked with an agent and requested a supervisor call me back, the agent said no note was taken that i wanted a call back. She finally did, and informed me that the now stitching come out of the same peice isn't covered. She informed me the sofa is no longer being made when I questioned standing behind a manufacturer that has this many problems. Bottom line: I'm stuck with c*** furniture that they knew was terrible and sold us anyway, full price, no sales.Customer service is awful, the quality/cost of furniture is awful, this supervisor is AWFUL, it's only a matter of time until they are bankrupt again. Shame on us for thinking we could purchase quality furniture with a warranty that would be honored.Levin Furniture, LLC

I bought furniture from Levin Furniture in ********************* on 2/20/23. It was delivered on 4/7/23. The furniture was custom made and was purchased with a warranty. A few weeks later I noticed that I had bleeding scratches on my elbow due to nails sticking out of the arm of the chair that was purchased, my sister also had the same scratches on her arm which left permanent scars on our elbows. After examining the chair, I took pictures and called Levin's ***************** I reported that I was not pleased with the craftmanship of the chair on 5/10/23, and explained the situation, emailed them my concerns and attached photos. The nails were coming through the fabric in various places, chair cushion had puckers along the front and puckers along the left side of the chair. The chair was picked up on 5/17/23 for repair with hesitancy, because I was told that I could not get a refund. On 6/9/23 the chair was returned with minimal repairs the nails were corrected that was sticking out on the right arm of the chair. I refused to accept the chair. The delivery men called their supervisor I spoke to her and she said she would put in for a refund. Upon return of the chair I took pictures, the puckers were still there, the tacky seams were still visible the arms of the chair was dirty. The repairs made were unacceptable. The cost of the chair was $1,450.00. My concerns are being gaslighted by the managers ******* and ********. I am a loyal customer of ********************** and have been buying furniture from them since the early '90's. I understand that in the contract it says no returns or cancellations. There is no mention of no refund because of poor craftmanship. A contract is reciprocal I agreed to quality furniture and to pay for it. That is not what I am getting but paying for what I agreed to buy. I received a call today 7/13/23 asking to deliver the chair I will refuse until I get the quality that I am paying for. ************** removed both arm panels, staples were removed and replaced on both arms. Material had a few wrinkles on the *** arm, padding was added and pulled and reattached. Me and my fiance are fist time buyers, we feel like we got taken advantage. We have more questions than answers and were lied to when we starting the process. Only thing we got was our base for the bed and nothing else when we were told if we made payments were could get everything we wanted to buy. I would have never went to Lavins if I new they scammed there customes and were finding out from people that this happens a lot. They need to be shut down!Levin Furniture, LLC

If i could leave 0 stars I would as i have received the worst service/quality I have ever experienced. I purchased a **************** in April 2022. Not even 6 months later, I filed my first repair. Parts were slow to come in. Then less than 3 months later, I had to put in a 2nd repair (some of the parts already replaced had tears again). There is a bad seem placement that keeps tearing. When the 2nd in home repair was scheduled, the tech said there was more things found that needed repaired than I had reported. They scheduled the in shop repair. After 7 business days of being at the shop, i called for a status update only to find out my couch had just been sitting there because on of the parts got shipped to another store in OH - even after customer service assured me they had all the parts. Once I got my couch back, the fabric did not match the rest of the couch, one of the issues I indicated originally was not fixed and the seams were horribly aligned (off by 2 inches). The delivery team also damaged my wall bringing in the couch and they are now saying the damage was already there prior to delivery. Which is simply not true. I will never purchase from Levin again and I will continue to warn others as to save them for the horrid experience I have unfortunately had. Purchased a Southern Motion full power leather reclining sectional ($4,000.) Contacted Levin warranty during pandemic about the edge of leather cracking. We purchased the platinum warranty package $400.00 extra. Covers everything. Levin contacts ** back, stating that they can't do anything due to the pandemic. So we asked if we could send pictures and do it that way. The warranty agent later states that when things get some what normal they would contact **. So we waited for there call. I have now called again to see what the status is, they now say it's out of warranty. And they have sent the warranty money to the store for store credit. I still have not had my sectional looked at or repaired. Why get the warranty when they will just not let u use it. Very unhappy with the way this was all taken care of. We thought Levin was a better company than this. That is why we drove 4 hours to purchase this. Hello, thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear you are unhappy about your purchase from May of 2018. In Sept 2021, it was reported that your leather was splitting at the seams. At that time, the claim was denied because the warranty does not cover seam slippage, cracking or peeling. The 5-year warranty you purchased was for accidental rips, cuts, punctures or *****, and stains of your leather. With our accidental warranty, if there are no claims against the warranty, we issue an in-store credit for the amount spent on the warranty after it expires.
