I was suckered into this contract when I was looking for cheap vacations for my son and I. After signing up and forking over thousands of dollars with the potential for service I never used it. It's been three years that I have been paying for a service I have yet to use. I tried calling and like someone said previously, even with my depressing sob story they would not cancel it. I honestly do not know what to do at this point. I can't afford the $500 yearly charge for their service. I emailed someone in November about how they would be preventing me from buying presents for my son. They conveniently did not get back to me until after the charge posted and said, well, it already was charged so let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Jerks. Christmas is going to be disappointing this year.

I believe I am being scammed an was 100% pressured into this obligation I would like to cancel my agreement an they will not allow it an they will not let me change my payment plan they automatically take it from my bank account every month. I do not know what to do or how to handle it but I tried to book vacations an there is never anything available an all places are run down an just look horrible they did not stand up to their agreement as well I was supposed to receive 2 free events an a 50 dollar gas card from just attending the webinar an I did not receive anything I am highly disappointed an want to cancel wverything with them.

Sundance vacations provided my husband and I with a FANTASTIC
7 night getaway to Greece! We couldn’t be more satisfied??????????! It has been so much fun and now
we are on our last day at Anezina Village, Villas and hate to have to leave.
Paros island and the people here are lovely. The food is great. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Sundance!

It’s not a scam, but it is misleading. Aside from their sleazy sales tactics, they just offer 1-2 star hotel stays. We’ve stayed in several places and it’s a hit or miss. You really have to do your own research to see what they look like. One of their featured hotels was absolutely disgusting- even had bugs! I have video. We left and Sundance did nothing.
A sales rep came to speak with us about “upgrading” which meant “more money” & she insisted I was wrong once I said that would be even more money on our credit report. She went as far as calling her manager & they did confirm it would be a new secondary loan. No thanks- she was angry and left right away.

Ultimately if you are comfortable taking out a loan from them & doing a bit of search before booking, it serves the purpose. We do travel 2 times a year and use a week each time. I’ve never had to book that far in advance but I hear others do, a week ranges from 300-600 depending on the size.

I actually worked here in the customer service department, and hearing clients complaining when they called in was nothing out of the ordinary. I didn’t blame them at all, Sundance Vacations is highway robbery. Sketchy and not accredited by the BBB. Hostile work environment as well.

After spending 6 days at the Myrtle Beach Resort in South Carolina with a friend I would not recommend Sundance to my enemy. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. After being told by my friend who’s a Sundance owner, we would be able to check-in when we arrived early the “property manager” Mari made us wait almost 4.5 hours with 2 children under 10 to have access to the property. To find out that they purposefully made us wait because of a small infraction was crazy. Also the property manager lied from day one about who she was instead of just acknowledging our issues. Once we gained access our fuse blew, the water was lukewarm, and all the amenities on the property were null and void to us. I would not recommend Sundance and especially Myrtle resort located at **** * **** *** ****** ***** **. If you are looking for a timeshare Westgate is the way to go

On august 2nd 2023, my girlfriend and I went into a Sundance Vacations location to claim a free week of vacation we supposedly won from a raffle we entered at a New Jersey balloon festival. We were told to leave a deposit of $40 and go to a presentation to get our free vacation and listen to their “quick” presentation which lasted 3hrs to received a refund of $40 without having to purchase anything, unknowingly we were misled by the sales staff about what exactly we were signing up for, we were led to believe this was an affordable vacation package with unlimited options to different locations and resorts, but in reality, the locations they offer are lackluster, limited, and the customer reviews/experiences are negative. We were fast talked/pressured into signing up for this and simply cannot afford to pay this much for a package we haven't even used! After going home and reading through the contract, we noticed all the hidden fees that were not discussed. We were told we had to pay $144 a month and that was all to get the 21 weeks of vacation but in fact that was a lie when we looked over our contract it was $145 a month and $146 every quarter plus a yearly fee and these prices were never disclosed to us. In fact the sales lady even mentioned that she was NEW to Sundance vacations so she didn’t explain everything. We told her no multiple times and she was not taking honoring our decision and instead got other sales people involved to mislead us into the contract. We were tired of telling them no and not being heard. we felt like we got swindled into this! We feel truly stuck in this timeshare. Everything is booked as well and we haven’t used the weeks either. Sundance Vacations saw a young couple and took advantage of us into signing this contract. We feel truly doomed to be stuck in this, it is holding us back from putting money towards our other necessary bills and taking care of our livelihoods. We want out of this contract and a refund of our money asap!

They lure you in with a "free vacation" and then force you to sit through an hour long sales pitch for crappy hotels in random locations. They then get rude when you do not purchase. Save your time and look on Expedia or booking.com for a vacation that works with your timeline.

My boyfriend and I received numerous emails and phone calls about this free trip, I initially thought it was a scam. Because who is just giving away a free 7 day vacation right? Well after finally agreeing to come in for a 1hr orientation we arrive and of course after the presentation they peer pressure you into buy vacation packages. Now why would we want to do that when we only came to receive a free vacation, they talk numbers and the numbers were sooooo ridiculously high we say no we don't want to put that much money down its to big of a commitment. I explain to them I am in nursing school and that is just to much of a big commitment for us at the time. They come back at this time and say hey well if we lower how much you put down to just maybe 5000 will that work ?My reply hey no that is still just to much money, at this point I don't even want the free vacation I just want to leave. Again she comes back and say well is the monthly payment an issue? I reply No still just a commitment, she says well how much can you put down, I say the lowest number in my head thinking that we would be disqualified, What do you know we are qualified for a 30000 vacation package. I called the next business day to speak with someone about breaking the contract because I just felt like we were under a lot of peer pressure as well as being under the influence of marijuana that day. Her response to me was well we cant just ignore the contract, I will bring it down some. I'm sitting and thinking to myself I haven't even used it, why would I pay for something when I know I cant commitment to it. Hoping I can find a resolution to something, this is not something my partner or I would like to commit to.

I feel as if this place sweet talked us into buying the vacation package offered. I feel like everything mentioned is a lie.
