      Worst mortgage company (they bought my mortgage from my bank) ! Do not deal with them! Terrible customer service, terrible accounting, terrible communication. There has not been one thing I have been satisfied with. I wish I could leave zero stars.

      Citizens Bank lost my confidence in transferring me around to 6 separate representatives in the course of 3 hours of calls. I need a simple statement on letterhead, for which no one would take responsibility and everyone proceeded to act like I was making an outlandish request for which we have no form. I dont care if there is a form or not. Make one statement and be done with it. Say Citizens has no interest in the issue, since you said your policy says you have no interest in this. Oh no, we cant possibly do that. Its far too complex to write an email, and obviously there is no form. So you just cant help. S**** the customer. Watch a few how-to videos people, stray from the script, listen to the issue and find a solution. We dont have that is BS. If thats the policy in your rule book, cop to it and send me a statement just stating your policy. Thats all I need. Oh we can only tell you the policy, we cant send it to you. Supervisor is on lunch, sorry. Classy, Citizens. Way to stay classy.

      Citizens bank has a Access ************* for accts that get sent to collections that has the absolute worst customer services even when you ask to speak to a Supervisor to try to resolve a human error that the bank made and cannot even justify the decision made that your acct is now in collections but simply quote policies as a scare tactic. Service is about making the customer whole or reconciling the matter by providing options for resolution not by simply saying well We cannot do that, so in short if you do business with Citizens or any of their subsidiaries please close any and all business with them as they will NOT Help nor provide resolution. A service I pay for that uses Citizens bank stopped taking my payments for the service even though it was setup on Auto Pay and allowed my account to roll into the Hundreds of dollars before they submitted it to collections and the Supervisor who's name I will not disclose did almost nothing to resolve my concern. My circumstances are a result of human error on their part and they will not reconcile this so my intent is to contact the Chairperson of Access Recovery to log a complaint and demand resolution.

      **************** does not exist with this bank. My ATM card would not work. I called ************** and after being on hold for 25 minutes, then transferred again, the agent had no idea why my card was frozen. I was told they would issue a new card in **** days. No card ever came after a month. I try again to call and after a 25 minute wait again was told to call another number (the original one I called weeks ago and then transferred again. This time I walked to the bank with a check trying to get some cash out. They refused since I didn't have my license with me. I then tried customer service (both individuals were on the phone) and told to sit down. Then the lady behind the desk told me to move that someone was ahead of me! I am 81 years old and I am furious that something this simple was so hard. to do. I came home and opened an account with another bank that offered me $400 for my account. My daughter also would never use this bank.

      I took out a home mortgage with Citizens. Got a great rate and they were pretty good at the beginning. In order to do so, they required me to set up a checking account. Of course , this checking account had a minimum balance requirement of $5k but I was told that if I also set up a savings account and transferred $100 between the two of them each month, I would never get charged a fee. Low and behold, I start getting $25 charges every month and every couple months I have to call and get them reversed. Forcing me to set up these accounts, locking my money up there and then trying to charge me monthly fees is highly deceptive and not in my best interest. I'll be closing those accounts. PS their digital online experience is completely terrible.

      I went to a Citizens Bank branch to retire the money I have deposited there. I had a valid ID and the teller told me to wait as they needed to "verify" the account. The teller told me "I will check the account" and to wait. I waited. Then she called the manager, she also told me to wait. Instead of helping me first, as I was there first and ready to go, the manager started helping a different client and kept me waiting. They harassed me by calling the police because I was waiting by the teller. I still don't have my money. After finishing this review I am planning to close the account and of course try to get the money I still have there. Horrid customer service at the branch located at ****************************************************************. A bank I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

      Worst bank ever! They are constantly s******* up my checking account. And now I can't switch to another bank because of them. Stay away from Citizens bank.

      THIS BANK NEEDS TO HAVE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR NOT PROVIDING THE PROMOTIONAL PROMISE FOR OPENING UP AN ACCOUNT. DIRTY SCAMMERS

      I've worked with this bank for 3 months and so far it is the worst at every level. The customer service wait times are obscene because even when you do finally get to talk to someone, all they are capable of doing is holding your hand while you wait together for their supervisor who apparently is the only one with any clearance to answer questions that aren't even of the utmost security.The online services feel clunky and unhelpful, despite every pre-recorded message forcing you to use those instead of trying to reach a human.I also find the "account maintenance fees to be very annoying considering the lack of customer service. I don't have these problems with ***** or Discover. ***** has very solid online services, including a tracking bar if you've submitted a promo code. This is very helpful for avoiding calling their service center at all. Discover wait times feel nonexistent. I'm always impressed with how quickly I can speak to someone over the most trivial of issues. They're also very polite and not rushed. Discover's online services are also very user-friendly so I do rarely have to call. Thanks for listening to my rant. Even with the promo offer they had, I would recommend these two over Citizens any day.
