      What a terrible bank!!! For starters, they have one of the worst websites I've ever experienced in all my years of banking. It is very difficult to figure out what is being debited or credited, what is an overdraft advance or charge, etc. You have to click on mulitple screens to figure out what's going on with your balances or to find where they put your statements. It's like they don't want you to manage your finances. Secondly, they signed me up for 2 Mastercards, one at 26 percent interest and the other at 18 percent. I had no idea I had 2 cards because I was traveling, and I ended up with balances on both. I asked them to combine the balances onto the lower interest card and they won't do it, so now I have to pay interest and fees on 2 separate cards until I can pay them off. Prior to that they were charging me fees for a savings account because the balance was below a certain level. What a farce! I inherited Citizens when they transferred my accounts from ***** **** never charged fees for its savings account. When I brought that up they waived the fees but it took several calls and waiting on endless holds to get this done. They are SHADY and try to charge as many fees as they can get away with. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

      My branch is wonderful, but the actual company is god awful. Our bank was taken over in April of this year, and we're a business. The way they post the payments at least on the business end, creates a conflict where you are consistently getting overdraft fees even when you have the money in the account. And when asked about it, they tell you to watch it more closely. It gets to the point where you're taking screenshots just to prove that it said in pending that the money was already taken out, so there should be no reason for it to cause the conflict in the first place. And then when I've tried calling on a saturday, in which they say they have customer service open to talk to, it's only automated. You can't get through to a person. The only saving ***** is we have good people at our actual branch.

      I have a credit card with citizens pay and my payment is due the 27th of each month. I usually make my payment 2 or more weeks prior to the due date via my bill pay account and is not posted to my account until after the due date of the 27th which I think is deliberate so I can be charged a late fee. I have called their customer service on numerous occasions re the issue, spoken the supervisors and nothing has changed. This is the worst bank ever to do business with.

      This bank is the worst , I had there credit card with them for years . I had forgotten one month about the bill and realized not to long after , paid the next months bill with the late fee. The following month I only had a payment of $ ***** due had a very small balance on the card . They dropped my credit limit on my card from $ ******** down to $250.00 because I had missed a payment. I think this is s***** banking practices. I closed the credit card and closed my personal account with them . I will never do business with them again.

      The worst customer service I ever experienced. I setup a bank account online with my husband, deposited money and set up direct deposit. They sent debit cards in the mail and when I was supposed to get my direct deposit I couldn't log into the account. I called customer service and they kept passing me from one person to another and then they tell me my bank account has been closed and they sent me a letter, which they never did. I'm like I just opened it what happened to the money in it, is it just gone. They have no answers for you whatsoever. This has got to be the worst bank in the world. Maybe it's good that they closed my account because now I won't have to suffer through waiting an hour on the phone before someone actually answers customer service and then having no one help you whatsoever. As my first experience, my first impression with this bank, I wish I can give them no stars.

      Beware, applying through ********** online commercial credit card with ************* I spent over 300k in the past 2.5 years with **********. I also, have good credit, but Ive only been in business only 2.5 years.. ************ Is a scam. They make you have a personal guarantor, but refuse to tell you ALL the requirements until they run your credit. The application requirements are basic information, which, I easily qualify for. Its the unseen requirements they dont tell you about, like years in business could be a denial factor. No where on the application does it state how many years in business they require. So, beware, they still will run your credit before they tell you. Highly dont recommend them.

      Terrible customer service in the bank and out. Terrible. They could care less about you. I think they have fun messing with you. Keeping you on hold three hours or sitting in the bank while they are on hold, like they need you. Moving my accounts asap. Hated them for a year but had business acct but sick of it

      **************** reps LIE or hang up on you and are not helpful, this bank is a dumpster fire of a mess. if you are on the account and close it because of the extreme fees they charge, if your name is on the account but not the primary you're out of luck, this dumpster fire of a bank will only make the check out to the person who is the primary even if your name is on the account too. its a dumpster fire of a bank. avoid it like the plague!

      Citizens started taking fees out of my savings, which is not how the account was set up and agreed upon. It has happened every month for years.

      My husband has visited the Citizens Bank located at *********************************************** and each time he visit hes meet with discrimination and differential treatment because of his skin color! My husband has his own accounts with Citizens Bank and he has been banking with them for over 18 years. I sent my husband to cash a check that I wrote to him from my account to pay the contractors working on our home and each and every time hes visited the branch hes told he cant cash the check without coming into the branch . Whenever I go to the branch to cash a check through drive thru I have no issues . I spoke to the manager ***** and ***************************************** today and they both told me the tellers are allowed to pick and choose what checks they will cash and what amounts as long as its under *****. The Manager ***** said it depends on the tellers mood. I explain that Ive cashed checks for same dollar amount through drive thru and never had issues. When my husband visits other citizens banks hes not meet with any nonsense or discrimination. The checks I write are personal from checking and has the same last name on the checks not to mentioned mt husband is a client he has his own accounts with Citizens Bank. Ive witness other people cash checks for similar amounts Ive written and they never seem to have a problem in drive thru at the ***** location . The difference between them and my husband is skin color! That is clear! You cant say mood of tellers because there is no interaction face to face. Their clearly judging the same check written by me and comparing it to the driver license in front of them. How does that constitute as a mood. They could check my account and see that Ive written checks before to the person cashing which would also show a pattern . Therefore using fraud or suspicion is a lie.
