CVS Caremark is the worst! You literally have to go through hoops to get them to approve any medication and if it costs too much, they wont approve it. If my doctor puts me on a medication, its because he thinks that medication will benefit me. But for whatever reason, CVS Caremark denies to approve it over and over again. I pay for insurance for a reason and yet I cant even get the medication I need with them. I do not recommend CVS Caremark to anyone. I dont understand how they still have business.

Horrible experience attempting to cancel the account of my elderly uncle. Called a month ago with my uncle next to me to cancel the account. Had to speak to three separate people before we were assured the account was cancelled. And now a month later I receive a letter in the mail stating they are refilling one of his prescriptions that costs over $620. Called again to confirm account was cancelled only to be told they couldn't speak to me without him on the phone. When I responded that he was on the phone a month prior to cancel the account, was then told they couldn't talk to me now. After asking to speak a a supervisor, who was nearly as incompetent as the first ******** service representative, I finally told them it would be easier to call the doctor's office and tell them not to issue the refill orders and that I'd call the credit card company and block the charges. What a racket CVS is running ripping off the elderly. It would have probably been easier to initially have called and said my uncle had died in order to cancel. It's no wonder legislation is being passed to make it easier to cancel subscriptions through corporations. Do yourself a favor and patronize your local pharmacy.

I could give zero stars if I can. This pharmacy is the most terrible pharmacy I have ever used in my life. All the customer representatives over the phones don't give two fudge about patient care and their medications. They are just there for paycheck and hated their checks. They have messed up my prescriptions over and over and over and over. Unfortunately, I have to use this pharmacy because that is the only pharmacy federal **** uses or I'm gonna have to pay the entire medications out of pocket if I get my medication fills at a different pharmacy. I praying and hoping that all the *** specialty pharmacy get shut down including the representatives too. Every month that I call, I speak to different people about the same medications that I have been taking for over a decade and they ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS messed something up and I have to fight with somebody about it monthly. Its a disgrace that I have to go through this kind of situation, and our HR don't care when you complain to them about it. What a terrible world I live in.

Very shady company would not honor my plans $120 copay, charged me $1062 copay unless I signed up with a partner company to get it for $0, but what happened with the $120 copay that my BCBS plan states, of course **** did nothing

I was recently stranded out of town due to Delta airline meltdown. It was going to be 3 days before I got back home. Medicine was in luggage. Being a customer of both branches (local pharmacy and mail-order- Caremark) due to Aetna insurance choosing them as PBM, I thought it would be easy to get emergency fill of chronic maintenance medicine. Both *** store in *********** and Caremark representative on phone said they could not help me. Their records cannot be shared with the "other part of the company". Being a retired pharmacist I told them it could be done as the "old days" with 2 pharmacists talking with each other on a telephone. (I provided emergency "partials" many times during my career). After many calls they refused to help me. This huge monopoly would not/could not communicate with each other . I reminded them of the laws that enable pharmacist to help in this situations. The pharmacist at the *** store agreed with me that I should not suddenly stop a particular medicine. I suffered health consequences stopping a long term use of an antidepressant / and a medicine to help me urinate. This merger/ acquisition of the 2 companies should never been allowed to happen if it would not benefit the consumer. I should not have to use them but insurance can dictate such due to "cost saving."

Id give them 0 stars, but thats not an option. I am stuck with an insurance that forces me to use CVS pharmacies/mail order. Neither can manage to get the medications I need to treat my diabetes, but yet they pay some person money to call me to review my meds. I dont need a phone call from a pharmacist who is not at my local CVS to review my meds, thats what I have providers for, but I do need access to medications that for some unknown reason ********* can get, but CVS has no ability to procure. They frequently cancel prescriptions that they are unable to fill but do NOT notify the patient. There is no option to use another pharmacy b/c no one else accepts CVS Caremark only CVS stores and Caremark mail order. If you have a choice, please save yourself some trouble and choose any other prescription insurance. Its not worth the money that I am forced to pay for coverage every single pay period.

We had a mix up with 7 different prescriptions for my wife and I called the customer service line. I spoke to Raven who straightened out my issue quickly, and with a great attitude.

Just awful, if I could give 0 stars I would. After denying me medicine I needed because they claim the dosage is too frequent, they then proceed to ship my order then cancel it TWICE without notifying me either times for some stupid reasons. This is the worst insurance company I've ever had and my chronic illness started flaring again because this place hasn't gotten me the medicine I need to manage it and not be bedbound.

Is there a -ve review. Worst PBM I have dealt with, no member service, no one wants to understand and solve issues. Dont care if Rx is filled or not. They just want to keep paying 100% out of pocket. wish there was option not even to have it..

CVS Caremark is a fraud in a broad daylight. Recently my wife got an ear drops prescription for 5 days. She has BCBS MedicareRX of MA ************************* was called by Dr.into CVS. *** said that it would cost (after insurance?) $128. When I refused to pay this much, they told me that with ****** they can give me a better deal for $48 cash. Then i looked up other pharmacies and found that at local supermkt pharmacy it is $12 with GoodRx. This is totally outrageous. I wrote a complaint to BCBSRX. Then i discovered that CVS Caremark actually administers BCBS RX of MA. Can you freaking beleive it? What a conflict of interest!!!
