The most horrendous chain pharmacy in the business sector. I just recently transferred my prescriptions from RiteAid to CVS due to a change in my insurance. Ugh words cannot describe how not only incompetent their pharmacist is at the CVS store located at **************************************************************, but totally lacking consciousness as to how important it is for the pharmacy to answer calls. It is like 911 not answering calls... customers need their medications to be filled in a timely matter which are necessary to maintain one's quality of life. This pharmacy not answering calls is placing their customers lives in jeopardy by not answering calls, and receiving the information necessary to complete customers orders. When I call the store due to messages left concerning problems with my prescription... when the phone is finally answered it is always the same pharmacist Jaya Mathi. This woman always ask for information that is current and has been provided to CVS such as my insurance and details about the prescription from my doctor. I do not know how this woman passed her exams to become a pharmacist, and if CVS actually conducts any interviews with candidates for the job before hiring them.I have a busy schedule working part-time, attending University full time, assisting with the care of my 80 year old mother, and maintaining my health can be overwhelming. Top that off with having to spend hours on the phone trying to get through to the pharmacy, and days without getting your prescription filled is beyond reprehensible. They are listed as not being a member of the BBB, and I can fully comprehend as to why that is for a corporation that is as huge as CVS to not be a member of the largest agency that holds businesses accountable for how they conduct business with their customers. There is zero customer service, or accountability within CVS stores, and this is why there are countless vacant CVS buildings around town it's because they cannot service their customers.

picked up a prescription day before that was in ***** bag stapled shut but upon opening there was no label on the bottle, only prescription information sheet stapled to ***** bag. Took to CVS today stating how am I to know for sure this is the correct medicine as there was no label. Lady at counter took off label from ***** bag and placed on bottle. No check no nothing. She said everything goes thru checks before putting in bags. I understand a simple mistake was made by not putting the label on the bottle but how do i know you put the correct pill bottle in the ***** bag?

Good morning, I had yet another terrible experience at CVS. I have not complained because i know that you are struggling to get associates. However, with that being said the associate at the pharmacy desk was dismissive rude and lazy. I could not use a gift card and he told me to go up front and when i said no one was at the front. He was unhelpful rude and frankly an employee i would not want to represent my company. He was a ***************** in the pharmacy oh and there were around five or six people bagging prescriptions. I think he could have taken a second to help. The worst is i got a gift card and can't use it anywhere kind of shady, it shows $20 but you won't take it. I ended up leaving the card at the store, frustrated and feeling ripped off

Their virtual visit clinic is a scam. Don't waste your money. It was supposed to be a video chat and instead I got a phone call that lasted less than 3 minutes where I was told to wait 2 days and go to the doctor if I wasn't better. Of course my request for a refund was also denied.

My elderly parents are on a fixed income. My mother was gravely ill and when released from the hospital, needed the antibiotic, Vancomycin, immediately. The local CVS didn't have it and so my father drove over 25 miles , to another CVS, to obtain it. To his shock, he was charged $263....AFTER ********* was charged $321! That's a total of $584 for a week of antibiotics! He called to say how expensive the script had been. Upon discovery, ******* only would have charged $75 , for the same script! I find it utterly shameful, that a company would charge people such an extravagant price! Absolutely sickening to think that a pharmacy would take advantage of those, in such need! To think that people have to choose between eating or getting a single prescription, is atrocious. CVS should be ashamed. If someone is in such a strong antibiotic, clearly they have major medical needs. Healthcare is expressive. My parents live on a fixed income. I'm shocked that when questioned, they acted as if it were no big deal. I will never use CVS pharmacy, again!

On July 22, at CVS on ********* in ********, ********...I was scammed by a CVS employee. I saw that a two-pack of ******* toothpaste was on sale. I took the toothpaste to the cashier and it scanned as costing $17.49. I told the cashier I did not want to pay that and I was getting ready to leave. She said, "Wait a minute. There is a coupon for $10 off and another for $4 off...I can ring you up for a total of $3.49." I said, "Okay." I pulled a five dollar **** out of my wallet. She told me she needed the transaction on my credit card in order for the coupons to work. She said, "Don't worry. Just hit accept on each page of the screen." I did. She put my purchase into a bag along with two receipts. When I got home, I saw that one of the receipts said I had purchased a CarePass membership and there would be a recurring charge and it would automatically be renewed." What?? I didn't ask for a membership in anything. Five dollars a month charged to my card. CVS is paying a commission to employees who get suckers like me into the CarePass program. I called the CVS phone line where you can supposedly cancel membership. After 20 minutes on hold, a guy comes on and asks how he can help me. I tell him to cancel my CarePass membership. He hangs up on me. I go to the CVS location in Columbia today and talk to the assitant manager. He glares at me and does nothing. I am also filinga complaint with ******** government ********** of ******** Affairs and the ****

The worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. There's an issue nearly 75% of the time I go there. One problem after another: out of stock meds, insurance issues, coupon issues, computer glitches, miserable employees, long wait times - especially when you need your medicine asap. And God help you if you need to call - they won't answer.I've never seen a company fail it's customers quite like this place. Unfortunately - insurance wise - I have no other option other than CVS, so for me prescription pick up is always something I dread. The many negative reviews here kind of prove my point. Is anyone else shocked CVS announced they are closing 300 sores?
