      This complaint is with capital waste services. They started the summer of 2022 with a lot of missed pick ups although they had been paid. Then things got a little better. In January 2023 the miss pick ups began again. In March 2023 I called capital waste and ask them to discontinue my service as I was tired of the miss pick ups. At this point it had been three weeks since I had my trash picked up. It took several calls to get this done. On March 29 I spoke with Alan and he assured me the Can would be picked up the next day and that the credit of $80 would be sent back to me by check. The Can was picked up the next day as promised. However no check was issued. On April 28 I called again and spoke with Dawn. She saw where I had called and canceled the service assured me that I was due a refund of $80. Again I was told a check would be sent to me in the next few days. On May 1, I again called capital waste. This time I spoke with Gabby. She assured me my check would be forthcoming. On May 10, I placed yet another call to capital waste and spoke with Alan again. This time Alan assured me my credit would be put back on my card. It is now May 24 and nothing has been done. I would like for someone to please be able to tell me why this company cannot just refund my money and have this case closed

      My account number is ******. I paid a bill twice last year in the amount of $13,751.28 and have been trying to collect my refund since the beginning of this year. My contact, Tina S****** (who is very pleasant), states that she has done all she can do in terms of emailing and requesting the refund. Please send me my refund.

      On 4/5/2023, I requested garbage pick up online and was changed $86 for it. The computer screen then told me I would get the cans by the 7th of April which was fine. I then get an email saying that the cans will be delivered between 7 and 14 days. 5 + 14 is the 19th. Today is the 21st. I don't have a vehicle to drive my trash all around around the county to the dump so I really do need a service. I paid for their service,they took my money out on the 5th without incident. I have called them twice and was reassured twice that it will be taken care of expeditiously. It wasn't and hasn't been taken care of. I had to pay my neighbor to use his trailer to haul the garbage off before we get rats & miscellaneous vermin. Plus they have my money and I have been deprived of service anyway. Please just have them drop off my cans or give me my money back n I will just start my own business hauling garbage off bc evidently another one is necessary to service Pelion n the surrounding areas.

      Capital Waste owes me $21.86 and they need to remove their bin from my residence.
      Worst service and customer service ever.
      Flagged my account as delinquent and did not collect my trash as agreed even though my account was on auto-draft and never delinquent. Every time I received a bill, they told me it was their billing issue, not mine. This happened about five times and they would periodically forget to pick up our trash over the course of 5 years. I would have to call them to pick it up. Trash was in the bin for a month before they emptied it.
      Requested my account to be closed on 2/27/23. Received confirmation on 3/2/23 that it was closed, but it is still open and still is flagged as delinquent. Every person I speak to at the Bluff Rd branch gives me the run-around. Never follows through with what they say they will do.

      I sold my house on Jan 17, 2023 and cancelled service on Jan 13, 2023. I also sent an email on 1/22/23 requesting they cancel my service and refund my balance as I had paid ahead through March 2023. On Jan 24th I spoke with a woman who said I would be getting a check for 36.06 in approx 2 weeks for the overpayment/refund amount. Since then I have called every week to see where my refunded amount is. I was first told I had received a credit toward my next bill however I am now living in an assisted living facility and don't even have another account. I have now been told on 4 separate accounts that the "check is in the mail" for my refund and my invoice statement from Jan 31st does in fact show a credit of $36.06 but I have yet to get any check. I am 84 years old and have spent MANY hours on hold and then speaking with them (Dawn, Angela- the customer service manager) and they all say they will get me my check but no one does. I can only imagine how they would be calling me if I were 2 months past due on a bill I owed them but they are now 2 months past due on refunding my money and no one will help me. I am on a fixed income and have always paid them ahead so I wouldn't be late and now they won't bother refunding me the $36.06.

      Better Business Bureau: Thank you SO VERY MUCH!!!!!  They called me the day you contacted them to tell me they would send the check this week and it came in the mail today!!! 

      I never thought I would see the refund money from them!  Many many thanks!  All resolved thanks to you!

      I had 4-yd front load dumpster service with Pascon that was dumped bi-weekly. The company was sold to CWS around June - July 2023. CWS regularly missed servicing my dumpster and I had to call almost every time to get them to come out and dump my dumpster. I asked to have a manager call me back, but they never did. After months of this I was finally able to reach Nick Thompson in November and he assured me he would take care of the issues I was having and reimburse my account for two month for all of my trouble. The issues continued and I never received my reimbursement. I called and text Nick Thompson, called Richard Sarac, and the main office and could never get anybody to answer my phone call or return my voicemail. Once I finally was able to get through the mail office number I told them I would like to terminate my service as I had found another provider. I was told no problem. A few days later Nick text me and said someone should be coming out to dump my dumpster (that was about a week overdue) the next day. I told him to not worry about I and just have someone pick it up as I already cancelled my service. He stated I was under contract with CWS from the agreement they made with Pascon. I read the agreement and it stated that either party could terminate service at anytime if the other party was not following the contract. This must be done by certified letter. Two weeks later they missed servicing my dumpster again and I mailed them a certified letter terminating the service as they broke the agreement. This was mailed out on January 17, 23. At this point I owed them for 2 months of service as I had not paid during this period of terrible service. Since then they continue to send me invoices and now are threating to turn me over to collections. I have tried dozens of times to contact the company through phone calls, emails, and text. I have left multiple messages and no one will answer or return my call. Please help me to get this resolved.

      Ms. A***** G**** reached out to me just before five on March 22.  She sent me a Facebook message from her personal account (which said she works for Spectrum).  She asked me to give her my phone number or address so she could contact me as I had left a comment weeks ago on their Facebook page to please contact me.   I denied giving any information to a random person that showed no ties to CWS.  She said I could call the main number on the 23rd and dial her ex. ****.  I did this and quickly reached contact with her.  I explained the whole situation and she asked what she could do to keep my business.  I explained to her that I no longer wanted to do business with CWS as I had already found another provider back in January when I tried to cancel service to begin with.  She said she would pass this on to her supervisor and they would be in touch with me soon.  I never received a follow up to this so on the 28th I called her back.  She said she had not heard anything back but knew that I had reported them to the BBB.  She said she would leave a note for her supervisor to call me first thing in the morning on the 29th.  As of tonight (March 30th) I still haven’t heard anything.

      In May of 2022 we contacted CWS to cancel services for a 4 yard dumpster after having service for 8 years. A representative contacted us claiming we were under contract. We have NOT signed a contract in 8 years. We requested a copy of said contract and the company could not provide one to us. In addition, our company paid 100 months for a 4 yard dumpster while receiving services for a 2 yard dumpster. CWS refuses to remove their dumpster from our property. CWS was sent another letter on May 24, 2022 again requesting the dumpster removed and charges to cease.

      On October 31, 2022 we contacted the home office of CWS and were told Roy Phillips could help us with a resolution. We sent an email with no response.

      In November 2022 we called the home office and spoke with Kim Belton. She said to email her the details and she would forward it to the person who could resolve the issue. The email was sent with no response. We followed up asking for an update. Kim responded on November 10 and November 17 stating she would check on the status of the resolution. We emailed Kim again on Jan 9, 2023 for an update and there has been no response. March 13, 2023 we contacted the home office and were told Herb could help us resolve the matter. We left a message in Herb's voicemail with no response.

      CWS continues to send us a monthly invoice.

      The dumpster needs to be removed from our property and our account balance at $0.

      Our recycling pick up has been consistently late. Since capital waste bought out superior sanitation.

      Our trash pick up ( for our whole street) is over two weeks late. I cancelled our service after emailing and calling every day for a week as well as sending Facebook messages. They finally said it was cancelled and they’d pick up our cans. My cans are full of trash still sitting by the road waiting to be picked up. We just want them to come get their trash.

      This company does not do their job. They will ride by your house and not collect your trash for weeks. Sometimes they call to let you know it’ll be delayed by a few days and it ends up being a week. When you ask for a refund they have no recollection of you not receiving their services. They will not call you back.

      Company will not answer the phone, nor call back after leaving numerous messages. Misses pick up days. When I finally got ahold of them (1 time on the phone in the last year) they said they would send someone to pick up the garbage, but never did. Had an issue with pickup again, called for 5 days straight, decided to go down there and walked in to alllllllllll employees standing around talking and laughing.(8 that I saw) cancelled service then and there. Said they would be out to pick up their can, no one has, and can’t get anyone on the phone to pick up their property.
