Purchased an E-gift card from vanilla visa via ****** on 1/9/24 and 1/11/24. It was used (when it could be ) on Four App for a ******* purchase. I made a return on 1/23/24 and a refund was (supposed) to be applied for 73.83. It is now 3/15/24. I still have not received my refund. I was given a gift card by a friend. I went online to the choose your card website and activated my card. I selected Carraba’s restaurant as the place I wanted to redeem the gift card. No digital card was ever emailed to me. I called choose your card in an attempt to resolve the issue. After about an hour on the phone with them, they opened a case (case ID: 68234580). They told me someone would contact me in 2-3 days. No one ever attempted to contact me. I called back approximately a week and a half later and nothing had been done. The agent did not have any update. I spent another hour on the phone trying to get the issue resolved. I was placed on hold multiple times and they had no resolution. The card was never sent to me. This place is a complete scam. The phones are answered by some service from out of the country. I want the $20 either sent by check to my home address or a valid $20 Carrabbas gift card actually emailed to me to use.Business Response

I purchased a serve visa prepaid card. The card stopped working, I purchased a new card, that didn’t work either. Even though my account had $500, my withdrawals kept getting declined (while being charged $1). I called customer service 9 times in the time I was using the card and each time I was assured it would work. It didn’t. I kept losing money. When I tried to close it, they would not let me close it because I had $0.88 remaining in the account. Since one can only take out money to a whole number they wanted me to add funs (would also be a fee) and then withdraw the funds (also to a fee)… I just want my money back and the account closed so that I don’t incur the monthly charge of $4.95 and any negative strikes to my credit.Business Response

I got a ***** card because they advertised overdraft protection privileges. I was told I meet all the requirements to use the privilege the card will not allow it. No one at ***** can tell me why and I'm behind on rent because I thought I'd be able to use my overdraft privilege that is advertised by ***** who's parent company is Pathward I believe. I'd like the Better Business Bureau to help me use the privilege since I meet all the requirements advertised and if I'm able to receive damages seeing as my rent is now late I would like to. In December of 2023, I detected charges to my account through my ******* card, issued by *** ***** through pathward. I cancelled my card and they issued me a new one. I asked that they close my account and they insisted they did. I contacted the financial services and started a fraud claim. The claim was denied stating that the disputed charges were made in between undisputed charges. I appealed the claim, and their response was another denial this time stating the charges were near my place of employment, and my normal travel history. They have since issued me 2 different cards linked to the same account, when I requested they close my account. They stated they could not close my account. I requested that the charges be blocked as they are not being made by myself or anyone close to me. They stated they could not block the charges. The charges are coming from ********** when I contacted ********** the company stated that I would have to contact my bank and block the charges as the charges were not being made with my own person ********* account. These charges are being made by someone who gained access to my banking account unlawfully. My bank states that charges are still being attempted, but failing because I have removed my money from the account.Business Response

Someone has been able access my account and steal from me 3times since I started with the ****** **** card
3/2022 dispute was resolved
8/2022 dispute went back and forth for a year with no resolve...this incident occured while I was being treated for covid in the emergency. I still had my card with me...but saw atm withdrawals totaling a little over $400 and sent copy of police report....copy of my discharge.....there's no way I could have been in 2 places at the same time. They never worked with the investigator assigned to my theft case .....the officer even went as far as obtaining atm recorded video to prove it wasn't me who made the withdrawals...the response initially said they didn't issue a credit because the account activity match my typical transaction habits? When I disagreed with their initial decision they intentionally called me outside of the hours I was available. I gave them those times because I had to pick up a second gig to make up for what was stolen
The most recent incident occured at approximately 3am in Miami Florida at an ATM......there's no way they could have accessed my card info. I don't have my pin available anywhere....and again I still have my card with me
The only proof I have is from me making a transaction with my cash app card a little after....no way I can get from Miami back to Orlando in that short of time
Starting to think there's a data breach or someone on the inside who's stealings client account information.
I don't want anything from them other than my hard earned money back

So I got a card.com card because the designs are different from the banks and it was a pretty card which I thought would be great, boy was I wrong. I had my income taxes directly deposited to my account. By the third time I used this card it was declined. I called customer service which told me the there was a hold on my account and I needed to fax over a copy of my ID, my social security card, a bill with my name on it and my last deposit to my card. I did that and was told in 2-3 business days the hold would be released. Needless to say the hold has still not been lifted. Now I have no access to my income tax, I’ve sent in the documents that they have requested three times already and each time they seem to find something wrong with the documents that were sent. First they said my water bill was not sufficient so I resent everything this time adding a light bill. Then they said my last deposit to my card which was a cash app transfer wasn’t sufficient and that I needed to send over a statement. Being that this is still the month of January the statement for cash app isn’t available for February yet which would show my last deposit to my card. It has been a week now and I've asked to speak to a supervisor every single day that I’ve called and every time there is never one available. I have four kids in my home and I have no way to access my funds on this card to feed them. As of right now my lights are disconnected due to me not being able to access my funds to pay the bill. I would never recommend this card to anyone. Hopefully my funds will be released but I don't have much faith.Business Response

I purchased 5 $100 Visa gift cards for our company from ****** over eight months ago. Upon receipt, these cards had not been activated. I have called the gift card customer service department 10 times since then and they always say the exact same thing: "I’ve escalated this issue – please wait another week or two.".
