  My experience with MTC has been excellent so far! Emily R. has been very helpful in getting me oriented and answered all my questions in our one-on-one session. I'm very impressed with the initial process and how much control I'll have over my Roth IRA investments! I'm really glad I found MTC, it's exactly what I was looking for in getting a self-directed IRA.

  Rose and the whole support Team at Madison Trust displayed OUTSTANDING support, in the process of transitioning my Self-Directed 401k funds to a third-party investment group whose bank lost track of the transition funds. Madison Support cooperated with dedication and responsiveness until the funds were located. In short, incredible support whenever needed! I would certainly recommend them to my close friends and family members

  As a custodian in the self-directed IRA space, Madison Trust has not held or safeguarded the assets in my account.
  What a custodian should do: Custodians are primarily responsible for holding and safeguarding the assets within the SDIRA. They operate under regulations from the IRS and other federal and state authorities. These entities ensure legal custody of the assets, preserving the tax-advantaged status of the investments within the SDIRA.
  What Madison Trust has done: partners with highly questionable and unethical business partners (e.g., Ken M****** & Tim L******, L****** M******) to hold SDIRA assets that do not exist. Then they continue to charge high fees for their "services."

  passive custodian, Madison Trust is not affiliated with or partnered with any
  investment firms or specific investments. Our role as a Self-Directed IRA
  custodian is to hold and administer assets as directed by our clients, and we
  do not offer investment advice or endorsements.
  
  As
  detailed in our Custodial Agreement, the accountholder is responsible for
  selecting the investments they direct Madison Trust to facilitate. This
  includes determining the benefit, prudence, risk, legality, and tax and other
  consequences of, and to perform any “due diligence” or other investigation with
  respect to, each investment or transaction involving Custodial Account assets;
  as well as monitoring the performance of and transactions involving Custodial
  Account investments.

  Madison Trust made the process of transitioning my traditional 401k to a Self Directed IRA seamless and incredibly easy. Through their IRA program I now have access to invest my retirement funds in many more opportunities than I had through my traditional 401K. Their customer service is very responsive, I never experience long hold times, and they provide incredible support whenever needed. I've had a great experience using them and have recommended them to several of my close friends and family members.
