    Joining the crowd of unhappy campers. I ordered my box to send in 10 videos. It took nearly a month to even get the box. It was received by them on December 4th, 23, and not it's March 11th, and they haven't even begun processing them. It makes me extremely nervous to have my only copy of important family photos in their hands. BBB, change your rating, please!

    DON'T USE THEM.....LegacyBox couldn't even deliver their "own" box to me TWICE!!! How could I use them to do the work and RETURN my memories. Endless emails with LaegacyBox, but no real help trying to get "their" box to me. It took forever to find their phone # and still no help. Strongly suggest you use another company.
    Too bad BBB doesn't offer negative stars, a one star minimum is one too many for this company

    Their estimate is 10-12 weeks. My order is pushing 20 weeks and the only response I receive to inquiries or complaints is “sorry for your inconvenience.” Southtree is not holding up its end of our good-faith agreement.
    I have been given reasoning related to high volume and short staff. Here's the problem with that: A company which is truly committed to the customer experience does not pass its inconveniences and problems on to the customer. Southree's challenges are not mine. Customers should not be the ones to make sacrifices for a company's inability to properly staff, adequately hire, or effectively manage workload.
    Staffing shortages abound, but good companies step up, exercise basic work ethic, and maintain a positive customer experience. High volume or workload is something for which most companies strive. This is an indicator of business growth. Lack of preparation for growth is not the customer's fault. So, the customer should not bear the resulting burden.

    This company, Southtree, took 4.5 months to complete and send my order, charged me for duplicates that I did not want, and provided a product that was out of focus and blurry.

    Legacybox stole my money. On 9/14/23 I began the process of receiving a partial return for an order I placed. The return was officially submitted on 9/18/23.
    On 11/14/23 I received the following email from Legacybox “I just checked with my supervisor and the check was mailed out 21 days ago, with an average receiving time of 30 days. Hopefully you should receive it soon. I do apologize for the delay in getting your check to you.”
    As of today’s date, I still have not received my refund.
    This is an unacceptable way for a company to do business, especially when they claim to be a reputable company.
    Take your business elsewhere before they steal from you too.

    I would give zero stars but sadly I have to put at least one star. The service they offer is a valuable one, saving memories is wildly important to many of us, but I feel this company has taken advantage of that niche and are not prudent with how they perform. Over the course of having two rounds of personal photos digitized I have found them to be the following: difficult to contact and when I was finally able to make contact with them, what I was told was wildly inaccurate. Promised delivery times that are not realistic to what they are actually doing. Their pricing is not transparent and confusing. In my case I opted to use the add more images at discounted rate feature that came as a special offer with my purchased, only to have to spend several calls fighting with them to correct the pricing to match what I was quoted/promised. Overall I have found their customer service is abysmal, both via written exchanges and calls. You should also be prepared to wait over an hour to get someone on the phone, only to be told that someone would have to get back to me via email.
    There are other services out there that do this as well, I would highly recommend based on my dealings with this company, that if you are in the market for digitizing your old photos, you use another company.

    I received the wonderful gift from my children of digitizing my photos. I sent everything to Southtree and received it back with no problems. I received an email from them with a Google link to access my photos and videos. I accessed and reviewed the images then saved that email so that I could go back at a later time to organize everything and save them into files on my hard drive. When I returned to the link it didn’t work. I contacted customer service and was told the link had expired. The original email I received didn’t say anything about the link expiring. When I pointed this out I was told they had sent out multiple emails letting me know. I never received anything from them saying this so I asked for a copy of those emails. I was told they could not provide them to me. I was offered access to my photos by paying a $79.99 back-up fee PLUS $79.99 to actually get a new link. I’m so sad my children’s money has been wasted on such a ruthless scam. I’d give them zero stars if I could.

    I purchased 10 items through this company back in July 2023. The last email that I have received was in October 2023. I have tried to call the company and I’ve also emailed the company twice and have not received a thing. I paid over $200. All I want is the videos. The reason for getting the videos was I had a brain tumor in July and I wanted to have those memories back because I ended up having a. Strokes are in surgery and some of my memories in my brain are missing and that’s why I purchases so it could help me remember some of the hard memories and things that I forgot in September I had another craniotomy and I really just want my videos. Is there someway that somebody can please get them sent to me hopefully by Christmas I’m not trying to complain. I just want my videos, especially when I need them the most at a really hard time and I would really appreciate it.
    Order: ******* When I first got the order every week, I would get an email or some thing but then all of a sudden in October it just stopped if you can’t give me my order list return my videos so I can take them somewhere else it’s hard to sit back and watch you go on TikTok and all these places trying to sell but yet you can’t even give me mine I don’t know how that’s fair I’m just trying to be a kind person but I’m getting frustrated because I would like to see my videos especially when I need them most

    I haven’t even received my vhs tapes back yet, but I wanted to warn people that legacy box (aka southtree) takes FOREVER to get the job done. They keep advertising like crazy, but for months now, they keep sending me emails saying” we don’t have enough employees” we’re all backed up” sorry. I’m not in a hurry, but I ordered my box in august, sent it in, and it’s November and still nothing. Be careful working with this company.

    I sent them 10 VHS tapes to be converted to CD. It took months to get them back. And when I finally did get them back three of the CD's were blue screens. In other words - nothing on them. This is a horrible company. They don't even have any quality controls. they arejust trying to push their stuff out as quickly as possible.
    Save your money. There are companies that do this locally, faster and cheaper. With better reuslts.
