      This is overrated, I prepaid for the service and they did not perform all services that was contracted for. Not once has their service up to satisfactory result. With a re service on each occasion. The lawn never got green, weeds are a constant problem. TruGreen is the biggest rip off of any service company out there.

      Very shady outfit,first when you sign up they auto add some stupid mosquito service they try to hide the fact its not a freebie added to lawn package, it costs extra so you'll be charged for that unless you call and specifically cancel that service.I had them do lawn service for a year, the lawn is a bit thicker and greener but is in no way the condition or shape id hoped, there are still lots of weeds in the lawn.. I figured i would cancel the service for a half year or so during fall/winter and start back up in the spring this is NOT an option with trugreen,they will tell you you have to completely cancel service "entirely" then threaten it will cost alot more when you sign back up because you wont be on the "promotional rate" or whatever.I decided to cancel anyway and told them they didnt have to lose a customer entirely, but since account can only be suspended for perhaps a month tops..i canceled, i was on AUTOPAY from bank account, upon cancelling i recieved, not a bill, but a collections letter for $222, i asked them why if im on monthly autopay ($54-62 a month) would i recieve a bill of $222 upon cancelling,they gave me multiple answers, the first was the bill was $62 per service,however they were only pulling $51 from my autopay??? they did not send an itemized statement for said $222 until i deanded one before id pay it.Upon looking at statement the last autopay was pulled in March 2024 yet had services performed through June, when i inquired why it was not pulling autopay every month, i was given the excuse that sometimes your autopay can just "fall out of our system" ??? i said, so if it fell out of your system for say 5 years, i could receive a $3800 bill upon cancelling?? was told, No, it would go to Collections before that?? i said ok, thank you, i will pay bill and report to the BBB for informational reasons for he benefit of potential future customers to be informed.

      This was my 1st season with this lawn care company. It has been a nightmare. The 1st ******************** control application was done so quickly on my large property that they couldnt have done the service properly. The had to send someone else to do the application in a professional manner. The last application was canceled by me twice as although I am in their system for mornings only, they scheduled me for afternoons. I had appointments those afternoons. I asked for a refund for that service & canceled it. I was scheduled this morning for my 1st annual aeration & seeding service. It shows on my app but I received no prior confirmation although I called to confirm last week. I paid someone to remove the leaves from the lawn so that the application would be successful. I put our flags for my sprinkler heads so they wouldnt be damaged. I spent an hour on the phone only to learn the central office has no communication with the local office. Not even a phone number to call. I was told no technician was available today to complete the scheduled service. After this repeated bad experiences I looked up the reviews for TruGreen. I was shocked at the terrible reviews. It appears that they are not a business that provides customer **************************** nor seemingly cares. The complaints were voluminous to say the least. Im going to cancel & find a new lawn service. My experiences have me angry & aggravated to say the least. Hopefully Ill get a refund as I prepaid for the season. ** never recommend this unprofessional lawn service company to anyone. Not only do they do a terrible job when they do show up, but their scheduling is a nightmare. Their customer service is useless at best. Their in no local office communication possible. This is no way to run a business. It appears to me as a big scam operation to sign up as many customers as possible though not equipped to deliver the services paid for satisfactorily. How they stay in business is inexplicable. Im done with them!

      1 star is too much! I paid for lawn care and pest control. I had to call for reservice when dandelions seated after the initial spraying and beyond. I only purchased the pest control due to the stink bugs which come in the fall. I thought this year I wouldn't have any. I left home early noon and returned to stink bugs covering the whole right side poster and partial house side. I called Trugreen and went to spray them with the hose. I feel as if I wasted my money. They sprayed when it rained and sometimes we're done in less than 5-10 minutes. This was too much money to spend for oor service.

We also provided another service for the customer to treat the areas at no additional cost.

      What I need to post here is too long and too in-depth to fit in this box, so I will leave it for a company rep/advocate/corporate ********** to call me so I can explain the horrible local tech we have; the yard we've seen degrade year after year; and overall loss of local support since the company boss just Had to go corporate and place us getting in touch with anyone at the hands of a main company line to somewhere/some customer assistant who knows Nothing about Our yard!!Sad circumstances, disgusting yard, horrible tech/communications, and increasing rates regardless of satisfaction. Homeowner beware.I only selected 1-star because I had to.

      I live in a gated community with a posting at the front that states NO SOLICITATION clearly. This business continues to drop people off, who enter without our permission, to solicit anyway. Even after being informed that this is not allowed they stay in the neighborhood. The business even tells them that they have a permit, even though this permit does not cover our neighborhood. Why would I want to enter into a business relationship with a company that already does not regard my wishes as important?

      On 9/6/24 a TruGreen technician came and started to fertilized with 25-0-5, the same fertilizer that was applied on 8/15/24. I asked him not to apply the fertilizer and to apply weed killer instead, he said he could not because he was going to aerate and overseed the lawn in 2 weeks. After being charged for a trip where nothing was done, I called TruGreen and requested to have the $74.95 charge removed, Reference ********. I asked her about the aeriation and overseed in two weeks. She advised me my contract did not include this service. Apparently the techninian lied so he would not have to do any work. This was probably a good thing because a week later he came and treated my neighbors yard for weeds, and killed a quarter of their lawn. I also requested to have a manager call me. ******* stated that the charge would be removed and I would get a call from the manager. The charge was not removed and I did not get a call. At this point I terminated TruGreens service. This is very upsetting to me because I recommended TruGreen to my neighbor and now a quarter of their grass is dead.

      Heres a polished version of your message:I paid in full for what I understood to be a full year of service, from October 2023 to October 2024, based on my conversation with the sales representative. Despite this, I have received multiple billing statements during the contract period. When I called to inquire about the charges, they mistakenly performed a duplicate service, which resulted in a $500 charge. After I raised the issue, the representative reviewed my account with management, and they ultimately voided the charge.However, today I received two more invoices for services I believed were already covered under the original contract. My takeaway from this experience is that if you're considering doing business with True Green in *************, be sure to verify that your full payment indeed covers all services as outlined in the contract.On top of the billing confusion, I must say that I'm not impressed with the results. Comparing my lawn to my neighbors, the quality of service provided does not reflect the amount of money I paid to maintain a well-manicured lawn.

      Welcome to the great service of Trugreen. I have never seen my lawn looking or feeling worse than this season!! Isnt this what we pay them for??? I called them so many times this season telling them something didnt look right. Asking for them to tell me when they were coming out so I could be home. First they tell me I need water. Im not stupid!! This was more than a water problem. No matter how high the temperature. All they did was keep putting weed control and fertilizer, until I threatened to discontinue their service. Then, the manager calls me and says my lawn is too far gone. They offered a free aeration and overseeding and said keep it watered. After one week, there was NO WAY this overseeding was going to work. There were no roots! And this bug (grub!!!!!!) was what I found this morning. I am so upset. I have always taken pride in my lawn and now Im back to square one. Needless to say, Trugreen is in the rear view mirror. Oh, and the manager asked me to go online and give them a 5 star review. Are you kidding me! Good riddance!!
