      Do not hire this company! I hired them 4 months ago because I started seeing some bare spots in my backyard. The specialist came out and said "oh yeah we can definitely fix that. We're responsible for your lawn now. Don'r worry". Here we are 4 months later after multiple treatments, complaints, managers and other specialists coming out - not only has there been no improvement but it has gotten worse! Each person is giving information that contradicts what the last person said (one guy saying they don't help grass grow in barren places and another guy saying they do). One of Tru Green's recommendations was to re-sod the area. Really? That's just covering up the problem and the sod would die because soil issues underneath. It's ridiculous! I finally hired a real expert who immediately assessed that the problem and recommended a viable solution that wouldn't make him ANY money but was the best way to fix the problem. I cancelled my TruGreen account and now they don't want to give me a full refund (surprise) even though they failed to deliver on their promise to fix my issue from the beginning. All they care about is money but it's obvious that they lack any real expertise in this field. They'll just do a bunch of treatments whether you need them or not, and bill you. Please do your research and make sure you find a company with real lawn care experts.

      My lawn has looked like c*** all summer long, weeds, chickweed, bald spots, my former tech returned and tried his best to rescue my lawn but managed to kill weeds that took over in some places, the only way that I will consider staying with TruGreen, if they give my one full year of free service, my guess is NOT, gonna happen, looking for recommendations.

We also gave the customer watering instructions that will help aid in germination. Corporate customer care will continue to follow up with the customer throughout this process.

      TruGreen Danbury completed destroyed a large portion of my lawn due to overtreating for crabgrass. I have made numerous calls, of course only getting through to the call center. I was assured a supervisor would be here on Monday, a technician showed up? Why I don't know, and he agreed my grass was "fried" from too much weed killer. He said I should call the Supervisor, ****** *****, I have made several calls, spoken to at least three customer service representatives, and still no contact from anyone at Trugreen, it's now Thursday. A good part of my lawn is burnt from the chemicals. I am totally frustrated at the total lack of concern that they have demonstrated. I am seriously considering putting a sign on my lawn saying, Ask Me About Trugreen! They state that you have their guarantee that you will be happy with the service , which is a complete lie. Not only do I say don't waste your money, but don't let them ruin your lawn and then not give you the courtesy of a phone call.

We also racked the area and applied topsoil and hay to the area. TruGreen corporate customer care has spoken with the customer, and she stated that she considers this matter to be closed, and she will complete the process herself.

      ****** a representative who called me is absolutely the rudest and outright dishonest person. I hope your company records calls as you should hear how she got $1106.43 off me in 1 but we discussed payments. I followed her instructions and then the next day I see my bank balance and call her. She immediately knew why I was calling because she told me yes she was aware I had paid in full yesterday and she actually kept her mouth shut & said nothing yesterday but the next day her response was it was MY mistake. Really? Talk about bad business practices. I had Trugreen for years. Not anymore. ****** will continue my insect control and now they will get my weeds. I'm done with Truegreen. 100% because of ****** the representative Trugreen employees.

      I just started using Tru Green this spring and oh what a mistake that is/was. They came out to spray the pre-emergent and waiting the said amount of time then watered it in. Well after a couple of weeks you could see new weeds growing and previous weeds not dying out. Call them to speak with a manager to come out and inspect my yard..he admitted that the product they used wasnt working so he scheduled another complete spraying..again same story second verse..they came out and spot sprayed the weeds the technician said that was all he was allowed to do to which I replied that I can spot spray myself. After each spraying since my lawn looks horrible ok I admit that the consecutive days of 100 plus degrees is hard on my yard but I hand watered almost every day. Finally I had had enough of the poor service and called and canceled my service...then over the las couple of weeks I started get almost daily phone calls saying that I still x dollar amount and finally today was the breaking point. I talked to a supervisor and pd have of said amount just to get them to quit calling or reporting to collections...I will never do business with or recommend any one to use Tru Green...horrible customer service and products.

      I am not a costumer of TruGreen and never have been, yet on 9/5/2024 I came home and found a door tag indicating they had treated my lawn. My house is clearly marked with house number. The tag is clearly meant for my neighbor across the street. When I called the number on receipt I was on hold for quite awhile. The person took my information and said the company would be calling me the next day. I have heard from no one. I called my neighbor to inform them of the error. They were out of town. There has been 2 other times Trugreen has knocked on my door in error.

      Canceled my service because they were not treating things as stated on my bill (proof on Ring Camera). They continued to come, not do any service and bill me. When I called in, I was told I only canceled lawn service that tree and shrub was being handled differently. So, if you need to cancel this service make sure they cancel everything. If you receive service, maybe watch them on your doorbell or security cameras.

      I have been a loyal TruGreen customer for over six years, and Ive never experienced such poor service until now. I pay for weed control, grub control, overseeding, and fertilization, yet here we are in September with my lawn in worse condition than ever. My yard is full of weeds, and large patches of grass have been destroyed by grubsironically, the very problem I hired TruGreen to prevent!It is incredibly frustrating to see my lawn in such bad shape, especially when Ive continued to pay for services that clearly aren't being performed. Theres no way anyone can tell me that proper treatment has been done when my yard looks this terrible. I was told someone would come out to address the issue, but frankly, it should never have gotten this bad in the first place.I understand that no service is perfect, and a few weeds here and there are to be expected, but my yard is overrun. To make matters worse, the grub infestation has caused significant damage to my lawn. TruGreen, its time to hire honest, reliable technicians who will actually do the work theyre being paid to do. As a customer, this feels incredibly unfair, and Im extremely dissatisfied with the service this year.

      On 9/9, I return home from work to find a sign in my yard about chemicals being applied to trees on my property. Which I never contacted this company to do or consented too. I get inside to find out the wife didn't notice this sign and sent our 3 dogs out in to a yard where chemicals had been applied without any knowledge of this happening either. So I review my cameras and see their person ran our doorbell walked away instantly and then just started spraying the trees on the property and then entered our fenced in area of the yard and applied the same chemicals to a spot where we had sent out dogs out too. I give them a call and ask why entered my property and applied chemicals to my property without my consent or knowledge and all they could say is we don't know why this happened. I then asked the first guy what type of chemicals were applied to my property and all I got was let me transfer you to customer service and they will tell you what chemicals we use and make sure this never happens again. Once I get on the phone with customer service they AGAIN COULDN'T/WOULDN'T tell me what chemicals you guys use only saying they SHOULDN'T be toxic, I explain to the lady that this is unacceptable that they came on to my property without any form of consent and applied chemicals where I send my 3 dogs out to and now can't tell me what they use, with only saying it SHOULDN'T be toxic to them. I then ask who I should contact if the shouldn't be toxic is actually toxic with any vet bills that could potentially arise. With not direct answer other than I'll have the project manager call you in ***** minutes on what chemicals we use and what procedures we have in place. Guess who never called me. So now we are on the next day still with no clue on what was applied to my property other than the assurance of it SHOULDN'T be toxic. Absolute joke of company that can't even provide the answer to a simple question after coming on to a property without any agreement in place.

      Unethical business. I paid around $440 for 6 applications in 2023. I then received a quote for over double that amount in 2024. Spoke to someone at the ************ office and they reduced the quote to $477 for 6 applications. I know things go up and was willing to pay the increase. Found out on my 4th application that it was not covered for the $477. That price only covered 3 applications. They told me it would be the same service I received in 2023, 6 applications. Liars. I also think they water down their products because the weed killer never killed my weeds (mostly dandelions) and they came out twice for that service because I had weeds all over my yard. Will never use them again.
