TruGreen sent me an email ad USING MY OWN EMAIL ADDRESS!This is ridiculous. I can't even mark it as spam, and I've never used this company.I'd like TruGreen to cease and desist from using my email address in the future... obviously, I'm not going to post it on a public forum.

TRUGREEN ********* (TruGreen Limited Partnership) is using Email Spoofing is a type of cyberattack in which a spammer sends an email that appears to come from a legitimate email address, such as your own.The spam emails are titled: Summer ***** 50% off your first TruGreen lawn service_appointmentThe body of their email spam contains an image including the Unsubscribe hyperlink which then links to a separate redirection.Its fraudulent and the emails are impersonating people which is a federal offense.TruGreen

We started with TruGreen May 2023 with brand new sod. Now August 2024 and our entire yard is full of cinch bugs, sod worms and our yard is not salvageable. They never used any preemergent obviously. We have over ****** sqft and caught them on camera completing their supposed service within 8 minutes. That's time of arrival to departure. I have called, emailed and all I ever get is a email response that it's disappointing to hear they were unable to provide great results. They did not treat the yard properly and now that it has gone for so long, the yard cannot be saved. I am taking legal action. The least they can do is replace the sod. They have so many complaints and I will not let this one be swept under the rug. We went from a beautiful lawn 15 months ago to an absolute mess. They are not going to get away with this. I wish I was able to upload before and after pictures. It makes me sick to my stomach! As I have seen in many other complaints, it's always our fault, it's either too much water, not enough, or standing water! Give me a break! There was never an issue until they started. They never did anything other than ride around on there machine and spread granules. Never any mention of cinch bugs or sod worms. I had another company come out yesterday and he was blown away, he said this was all preventable had the technician been doing the proper treatment, and yes their machines they ride on from yard to yard do bring lawn pests to your yard. I will not stop until they replace my lawn!TruGreen

1 starI pretty much always had a very nice lawn, even won an award from the city of ******. Three years ago I, now regretfully, changed fertilizer service to TRUGREEN. The first year they came out on a 90+ degree day and sprayed chemical killing much of my lawn. When I complained they came out, aerated and seeded. It took the rest of the season to mostly recover. I decided to give them another chance since they say it takes about three years to get a nice lawn but here they started with a very good lawn and ruined it. Mid way through the second season the lawn started looking decent again and by the end of the second season my lawn was nice again. I decided to continue with TRUGREEN for a third season. The first service went ok but after a couple weeks I did not notice any decrease in weeds so I called to complain. The second service ended up burning the front lawn and some of the back yard too. I called, a tech came out said yes it was a chemical burn and the guy that did it was new. killed the grass but I still have weeds. The inspecting tech said that he recommends no fertilizer for the next couple of services but only weed killer. Got refunded for two sprays but they sprayed fertilizer and insect control anyway. Totally not what they were supposed to do. When I called to complain they said they would do a service at no charge. They said that instead of a service they sent out someone to inspect but did not talk with anyone here and later had performed an aeration and overseed but no weed control so I sent an email where I was told since they seeded they cannot do weed spray as it would kill the seed. WTF Now the weeds are out of control. When I talk with an agent there they seem to think that their customers are stupid or something, nothing but excuses. I will not rehire this outfit. Though some people may have a good experience with them I did not. Once a corp. gets so big I think they do not care about their customers once they get the check. Their service is awful, DO NOT use them. They send guys who do not have any clue what they are doing that use no knowledge or thought, they are like robots, they do not take a look at what your lawn may need and adjust anything, just show up and sprinkle whatever corporate says should be sprinkled and that is it. Never look for results and if none adjust what is being done. I wish there was a negative 100 rating.TruGreen

1 starTruGreen sprayed my lawn with pesticides. I am not a TruGreen client. We use native plants in our yard to provide food for the pollinators. I have called TruGreen FOUR times and get the same answer. The customer services representative sends the issue to their supervisors but no call back from the supervisor. I have asked what pesticides (chemicals) were used, but nobody seems to know. Very bad customer service. Perhaps I need to file a complaint with the local police for trespassing and vandalism to get an answer. Maybe I need to get an attorney and **** Very frustrating.Review fromJoseph G

We have had TruGreen servicing our front yard for quite a while. I called and cancelled my service a couple of years ago and was talked out of it by the salesman. They stated they have had some issues but would we give them another chance. We now have a ring doorbell and when we got our last receipt we noticed there was not a lawn flag showing the service was completed. We backed our ring camera up and it caught the truck coming up the roadway at the same time our invoice stated the service was done. We then watched the truck turn around in front of our hose and leave the area never stopping to service our yard. I called the local office and the lady asked would I please accept a free treatment if they sent a tech back out. I told them I didn't want the same one that had just driven by our house. They did come by and service our yard but since I had already paid for the service it wasn't free. No refund has been offered our explanation by management since my initial phone call. I am going to call and cancel my service as soon as this review is done. I wonder how many other times they have just drove by our house and not stopped but billed me for a service never completed.TruGreen

I used TruGreen one time last year for aeration and overseeding, and the job was done as expected. I had no problems with TruGreen until this week. With no notice, TruGreen came and did the same service without my permission. If they had asked or talked to me, I would have told them that I did not want this done this year. Instead of contacting me, they completed the service while I was not home and charged my credit card for $372! After a 30-minute phone call, they offered to take $170 off of the cost. That still leaves me paying $200 for a service I did not want or approve. I'm not happy at all. DO NOT TRUST TruGreen! You have been warned...TruGreen

Thank you for your feedback. A member of our corporate care team spoke with this customer. She explained our program does reoccur from year to year unless the customer contacts us and tells us otherwise. As an act of good faith, since the customer stated this was unauthorized, we agreed to refund the full amount for the aeration and seeding. The refund is still currently in process, and corporate care will continue to monitor the account to make sure there are no issues with the refund.Review fromTerry O

Scam! Paid for 1 year service $475 on 09/21/23. On 08/13/24 I get a bill for $58.40 for an application. Not even 1 year has passed. I was told it auto renewed and I never agreed to this nor was I informed . More importantly, the results of the applications were VERY POOR, IF ANY RESULTS!!. I immediately noticed this and had to spend more money with my own fertilization from the very beginning. I thought I would give them a try I got severely bit!TruGreen

Thank you for your feedback. The service Trugreen provides is continuous from year to year unless the customer calls and tells us otherwise. When a customer prepays for service, they pay for a certain number of applications, not necessarily all the services the customer would receive within a 12 month period. The scheduling of services may change slightly from year to year due to different environmental conditions, so the prepaid amount may be exhausted in either just less than or a little over a year. We contacted the customer to try and discuss this. At this time, the customer's service has canceled as requested, and the balance for the last application has been credited.Review fromRon G

This company put a large portion of my lawn on the 3rd time they serviced my lawn. A worker from truGreen came out to the housed to look at the damage. He did tell me the lawn was **** by the amount of fertilizer that was used. He said the I need to give the loan a lot of water, with the amount of damage it will be impossible to just water the **** grass. I asked him for a refund and he had idea if that can be done. Then he left/The next day I called TruGreen and the could not help me so I cancelled with TrugreenTruGreen
