      When I called for service in April, it was for just one application for insecticides, actually for grubs. But they only do applications for chinch bugs. So, I paid for the service in April. However, in May, I stumbled across my email and I discovered that they were on the way to service my lawn. It was too late to tell TruGreen that I didnt schedule for my lawn to be scheduled. I told the associate in April that I dont want to be on a schedule service. But they came out without authorization on May 22nd. I called TruGreen and told them that I will not pay because my service was for one time only. Yet, the associate replied that they operate on schedules. I replied,How do you know if I have the money to pay for your service. I told the associate to take me off the schedule because I dont want your service anymore. As a result, I got an email today stating that Im scheduled for another service and my bill has doubled. I contacted my bank and told them that Im not on auto pay and I refused to pay them. No deduction has been made on my account. ********************** does not communicate well with their customers or with their different offices. Im not paying and Im not doing business with TruGreen anymore.

      Terrible, Tru Greene in *********************************************************************************** fertilizer on our HOA community lawns, causing my rose **** to be burnt due to over spray on plant. Owner came out to investigate. He said it was a fungus, not caused by fertilizer. Plant cane was green two days before they applied fertilizer., now it black, He would not reimburse me with anything. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

      My next-door neighbors use Trugreen to fog for mosquitos. The technician sprays on windy days and the chemicals blow into my yard. I garden for pollinators and birds. The pesticides they use kill all beneficial insects, including honeybees, butterflies, and fireflies. I have been outside gardening when they spray the chemicals up in the air on all the trees and shrubs. I have to grab my dog and run inside my house. I have inhaled the chemicals several times when they spray, and the taste stays in your throat for many hours. It also gets in your eyes.I have talked to the TruGreen technician, and he claims the chemicals are harmless, but I have researched this method of killing mosquitos and know that is not true. The best way to get rid of mosquitos is to kill the larva in standing water. For a fraction of the cost of fogging you can buy mosquito dunks at any big box store and use those in your yard.I would not support this company because they are spraying toxic chemicals into our environment. They are not considerate of neighbor's property and allow the chemicals to drift everywhere. They do not care if children, adults and pets are outside close by when they are fogging in the middle of the day.

      In review of the non-customers complaint, corporate care contacted the customer directly apologizing for the inconvenience caused, confirming our service manager *********************** contacted the non-customer by phone, confirming moving forward their will be a plan in place to have no drift moving to their property,confirming the non-customer will need to look into the chemical sensitive list with their county,

      I contacted Truegreen in Jan of 2024 to pre treat yard for crab grass. I stopped service 2 weeks ago. My lawn is much worse and all kind weeds are growing. I did complain prior to dropping them and they come out. Said they applied more chemicals to kill weeds. Why is my problem worse. I will never use them or recommend them. I have re sod my font and back yard now. Wasted $$ and time with TrueGreen.RUN

      In review of the active customers complaint, corporate care contacted the customer by apologizing for any inconvenience caused,confirming the service manager *********************** visited the property, confirming the customer has St. ********* grass showing seed heads, confirming there is a mixture of Bermuda in the front and backyard that has seed heads, confirming the service manager could not see crabgrass, but saw a few weeds and little sedge for which was treated with weed control and sedge control, confirming drought cracks were noted in areas of the lawn, confirming some bare/thinning areas in the front yard, photos were taken, confirming the service manager ***** left an electronic service summary for review

      Despite telling TruGreen that our home is on 10 acres they signed us up for residential service. We had just laid $60K worth of centipede and our yard was beautiful. They realized afterwards that we needed commercial service which we agreed to. We had problem after problem centered around incomplete or inconsistent application or failure to honor the agreement dates they had us sign. We communicated everything to JR verbally, and in writing with accompanying pictures. We were given promise after promise to no avail. When a service worker came things were made worse, even when they attempted to remedy a problem. We were told (in writing) that the national office had assigned their workers to other larger commercial accounts so there was not anyone who could come right out. We in essence were not a priority. Our grass is dying in the areas they treated. We are upset. Fortunately, we have cameras all around our house to prove our claims. At a minimum we want an apology and the $1,070 paid for the 3 lawn treatments and 2 weed controls reimbursed.

      On behalf of TruGreen we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the customer. ********************** senior service manager met with *************** on her property to discuss her concerns on 6/11.  She was not pleased with the color of the lawn, thin areas, and Dallas ***** weeds. He explained to Mrs. that the slight yellowing in her lawn is due to the weed control applied and that the yellowing is temporary, and we can remedy that with fertilization. Because the ***** is centipede- he explained that we would use an organic fertilizer to help bring back the color slowly overtime, rather than using a high nitrogen-based fertilizer which could potentially stress the turf further.  To address the thin and bare areas we would aerate and overseed those areas to recover turf density in those areas.  Lastly, to address the Dallas ***** weeds, we will schedule a series of *****y weed control applications.  He informed the customer that the *****y weeds ********************** could cause further yellowing in targeted areas.  *************** understood and agreed to his plan of action.  He provided his direct line of contact for any questions or concerns throughout this matter. The customer will also work with corporate care throughout this process.

      This is daylight robbery, I realized i was paying them a few hundred $$$ in ************************************** to cancel. Fortunately they called me to upsell and i told them to cancel all my services The rep said they would cancel everything, but now I see they are billing me again. I managed to pickup another unsolicited call from them; but am looking to lodge a formal complaint with the BBB

      I have been a customer for seven years and within the last year the service and scheduling has been unacceptable. The last application to my lawn was fertilization and weed control which killed 50% of my lawn. The manager came out personally and stated my lawn was ****** treated. I just need my lawn sodded back to its original.

      I am extremely disappointed with TrueGreen's services. Despite their promises, they have consistently failed to clear up the weeds in my yard. Adding to the frustration, they completely neglected my backyard, leaving it in a terrible state. To make matters worse, my wife has been hung up on multiple times when trying to address these issues with their customer service. This level of unprofessionalism and poor service is unacceptable. I would not recommend TrueGreen to anyone looking for reliable lawn care.

      No stars whatsoever really. Only give the the one because I couldn't send this review without choosing one. This is the worst experience I've with a contractor since moving to ********. Everyone you speak to tells you lies. I've canceled my service 2 months ago and I am still waiting for my refund. Every time I call to inquire about my refund I get a different person who lies to me. First person I spoke to when I canceled told me I'd receive my refund ***** day back into my bank account which I used to make initial payment in full. It never happened after 15 days I called and and this new person told me the refund was rejected by my bank and I'd receive a check. Weeks later there was still no refund check. I called again and again a new person told me that she would handle the matter after I explained everything to her. ***** later still no refund. Called again weeks later. The gentleman I spoke to this time told me he saw no record of a refund that I was due. He asked me to hold while he speaks to a supervisor. He then guarantees me I receive my refund after he did some do diligence on my account stating that a check was mailed out to me and I should receive in a few days. We'll its been more than a week and still no refund. I will never use these people again and will make nobody I know will use then either by telling them about my experience with them

      I hired TruGreen one and a 1/2 yrs ago to provide maintenance on my lawn. Slowly my lawn started dying. I have been complaining to them, to no avail. It's like they don't listen to what I'm saying. Recently I started becoming more consistent with my complaints. I had a specialist come out to spread fertilizer and evaluate my lawn. He told me my lawn is too ***** and grass would never grow. My question, why have I been paying for the last year and a half for service to a lawn that would never grow grass. Why not immediately stop service and save me money. I had a supervisor come out and do a soil sample (which I thought should be done with every lawn before they start applying chemicals) and he said it came back that the lawn needed lime. I was told they would send someone out to apply lime. Never happened. The Supervisor said it was done but was coded wrong and my explanation of service stated ********** was applied. I started getting promises for better service, but all my promises was just talk. Once they came and did my neighbor's yard by mistake. The explanation of service said they spoke with me. But he never did. Supervisor said, it was coded wrong. I ended up buying lime and spreading it myself. I'm embarrassed that my lawn has a TruGreen sign in the yard after a service and is mostly dirt now, and my neighbors thinking I'm actually paying someone for my yard to look like it does. My neighbors do nothing to their yards and their yards look wonderful. I'm asking for a full refund for the last year and a half of service. They just blindly do service without seeing problems with a yard and reporting it for further action to take place. Never again! Stay Clear!

      -  phone calls to cease within 30 days

      -  regular mail to cease within 4-6 weeks.
