1 starBeyond frustrated with this experience! I prepaid over ***** for treatments in hopes to get my lawn back to health. We have a dog that is primarily outside, so we were having some issues figuring out scheduling. I feel that as many times as I have talked with someone that if this was not going to work, I should have been told that. And I did ask if that is what they recommended at this point. I would call stating that they had to come at a certain time so we could have the dog put up, I was told that the note was made on the account, and they would let the technician know just for that to not be the case. So many treatments rescheduled because despite calling several times per week I was told "Oh I don't see any notes on the account." I have talked with the branch manager in my area trying to address my concerns. They even called me the day after my last treatment to make sure the notes on the account were being followed. I get a notification that they are due to come today and that the technician would see me soon. I called around 12 to let them know that the dog was in the back and that time would not work. She states that she let the technician know. Well now its 2:30 and he has arrived to the property to be met at the gate by my dog. I was already on the line letting them know the technician is there headed to the back yard and no one is home to put the dog up. At this point I have cancelled my services and am getting a refund. I asked that a manager contact me and I was told since I have cancelled my account they will not be contacting me. Wish i could give this 0 stars but it makes you at least put one.Review fromRobert B

I called in to True Green over a month ago and agreed to an annual service. I explained to the salesman that there was part of my yard that was not grass and that I wanted to let it grow wild. The salesman said he would put a note in, so that it would not be treated. I called in numerous times before the service to make sure that the technician would contact me before he did anything so I could verify that part of my land would not be treated. I never received a phone call from the technician , and since I wasnt home, he treated the whole yard. I called to complain and canceled my service because I couldnt get her response from True Green. They apologize and said they would send a second technician out to do a free service and that I would get my money back. I did eventually get my money back minus the cost of the first treatment. The second technician did not call me as I asked and treated my whole yard a second time. I have called in to True Green 35 to 40 times over the last month, trying to speak with a service manager. One finally called me After about three weeks and basically said theres nothing that can be done to improve the look of my yard because of the treatments you cant grow anything for three months I have received canned email responses and phone calls from customer care but they all go straight to voicemail or leave phone numbers that Will not enable you to speak with them. True Green s customer care is the worst I have ever experienced in my 69 years on this planet!TruGreen

We spoke with the customer and have agreed to give him some grass seed to apply to this area in September 2024. Enlisted the service of TruGreen and was disappointed from the start. I cancelled my service the same week I started it and asked for my refund of $504.00 to be placed back to my card, TruGreen attempted this a few times with no success. I pulled in Navy ******************** for a three way call with ******** at Corporate and Navy Federal explained that they must input the expiration date correctly, ******** assured me this was taken care of and I would receive my refund in a couple of days and that she would return my phone call that afternoon with confirmation! This did not happen.Fast forward a few weeks still no refund... Finally got corporate on the phone again and was told that they processed a paper check. Their is a list of four contacts associated with their website, ***********************, *********************, ********************************************** Multiple emails and letters from my lawyer went unanswered because guess what? NONE OF THOSE PEOPLE EVEN WORK FOR THE COMPANY ANYMORE. Every call center is located in a foreign country and the representatives have NO CLUE what to tell people or how to transfer someone to the ***************** To say the least TruGreen **************** is the worst I have ever experienced. As of 5/2/2024 I still have not received my refund, I have enlisted a Virginia Attorney to File Suit against TruGreen in Chesapeake Circuit Court / *************** If TruGreen had current contacts listed and their executive staff paid attention to their mail (certified mail btw) they would know this, however; TruGreen is un organized, thier executive and corporate staff are not accessible by any means and their call center staff are extremely un-educated on how to do their job and absolutely do not speak clear english which creates yet another barrier for trying to express the issues you are having. Last but not least not one Supervisor offered to speak with me on the phone, its a shame the lack of accountability TruGreen takes for its mistakes.TruGreen

1 starThey quoted us what we consider a ridiculous price compared to other lawn services. My wife said she would discuss it with me and if interested we would get back to them. They kept calling everyday, sometimes multiple times a day, which we just ignored. Then a rep showed up at my home! Stay clear of this crazy stalker company. On the other hand, they may give you very personal service. Camp out on your lawn, maybe move into a guest bedroom?Review fromAmber H

1 starI got my lawn done 10 years ago by this company. I dont even own a home anymore, but yet theyre marketing. Harassment is still harassing me. It doesnt matter how many times Ive I unsubscribed Politely asked them to not call me anymore or email me or send text but yet they persist to annoy the c*** out of me. Do not tell me that I was not a customer. I was a customer and your marketing is out to lunch. Leave me the alone STOP harassing me!Review fromCeleste H

Id give a zero if I could. I had a service back in February. A new technician came by to do my treatment and had advised at that time that the other guys that were coming out werent providing the fertilizer for the lawn. He advised that hed be out the next day to put it down. He came out did the job he promised and a short time after that I went into my backyard after my lawn guy pointed out to me that my grass was bald headed. I was puzzled bc the grass was fine and green prior to this treatment. Another technician stopped by to treat the grass and said the bald grass was not right and something was wrong. I advised him of what happened with the prior tech and he got on the phone with his supervisor who *** missed due to appointments obligations when hed come out to the property. The manager of the Lake Wales unit came out when I was away to assess the situation. To date, my grass is bald very bad in one area, but the other areas are burnt too. The excuse ** getting from the managers office is hes still waiting for the sod company to return his call to take care of my grass. Ive yet to hear back from the manager as he has customer service to call me back to tell the lie he doesnt want to face me with. Hes obviously waiting for the rainy season to come to grow my grass back, but Im not waiting. Im going to seek consultation with counsel because hes trying to get out of making things right. Meanwhile my lawn throughout the yard looks terrible. I want my yard made whole again and stop trying to wait on the rainy season.TruGreen

The company TruGreen refused to matched the proposal for lawn care service from their competitors in this early spring. I then closed the account with ********************** and signed service contract with their competitor with prepayment. Without service contract TruGreen claimed they have provided service which I dont think it happened. They keep sending bill to my address and demanding payment.TruGreen

The number given on the Better Business Bureau page is not their corporate office. It drives you directly to their customer service line in which you have to wait 24 to 48 business hours to hope you get a call back from a manager regarding your problem. **************** people are very nice but clearly the corporate office has tied their hands and they have no ability to contact you with a manager in any immediate capacity. They do not have a phone number for a regional corporate office that you could actually call someone there. I am now on my third time being told that someone will call me within 24 to 48 hours regarding an issue with their service. The first two were by the service people who came to us and apparently it was never put on record. This last time is myself calling the customer service line because a week ago I was told they would call within 24 or 48 hours. We shall see if they call and I get an actual manager who can make it decision.TruGreen

Service was supposedly completed on my property on 4/25/2024. My neighbor commented on how the trugreen technician quickly ran through our yard and then ran off! They tipped over the large flowerpot on the back patio spreading fresh dirt all over what was a clean patio, and left the gate wide open - which then enabled out dogs to escape when I did return home! Calling in to report this all the woman could say is she will ask the tech to close the gate next time. That is not good enough!!This is TERRIBLE SERVICE and not even the decency to clean up a mess left behind, and a questionable job on our property!TruGreen
