      If I could give TruGreen negative stars, I would. I signed up and paid for a full years service which was $389.30. The service started out fine and then two times someone came and didn't actually even perform any of the services and just put the paper that they completed the service on my door. Unfortunately for them, I had captured it all from my ring camera. I immediately called the manager both times and even sent him the ring videos. I mentioned that I'm not happy with the service and after all the paid services are done, I do not want to renew and would like to stop the service. Then TruGreen automatically renews my service and performs 2 services without my consent or authorization and has billed me for both services. I call again and let them know to cancel everything and to credit me those 2 services. ****** in **************** tells me that a manager will call me in 2 days. No one called. I sent an email to ****** following up and got no response. This is not only a horrible lawn care service but their customer is also bad. I called again today and finally spoke to someone who actually helped me and credited me the two services. ***** is the only person who was able to assist me after all my calls and back and forths. I do not recommend TruGreen to anyone.

      Worst Customer Service Experience Ever! They LIED, I cancelled my services and they STILL CHARGED MY CARD, and they have HARASSED me with never-ending calls, emails and text messages ever since!! First - They texted and said "Thank you for letting us service your lawn today on April 23, 2025" which was a surprise to me because it had been raining all day, I was home watching out my office front window and had not seen or heard from anyone and so I called, where the service associate said their technician said he spoke directly to me at the front door and thanked me for letting them work on our lawn. Which I told her patently false. She said "well, that's his word against yours." I cancelled my service and fortunately demanded the cancellation confirmation number. Which is exactly what I gave to **** after I saw on my billing statement they charged me the very next day on April 24, 2025 AFTER I CANCELLED SERVICE! $192. I disputed the charge. Since then I have received no less than 2-3 calls per week, emails and the occasional text even though I keep opting out and I keep blocking the calls. I keep telling the people who call me to stop calling we are not clients and never want to be contacted again. Today JUNE 5, 2025 after yet ANOTHER idiot called and interrupted my work, I tried to tell him to stop calling and he hung up on me. So I called Tru Green back and lit into their customer service manager. I demanded she elevate this to a management education level and REMOVE ME, my phone number, my address and everything from their database. They are NEVER TO CONTACT ME AGAIN -- They LIE, THEY DON'T LISTEN, THEY JUST KEEP HARASSING YOU.DON'T TRUST THEM!

      Where is the BBB getting their information on rating this company? Our Rate/grade is an F. TruGreen ruined our lawn while were paying them to maintain it- infested with CHINCH BUG. which they failed to acknowledge and treat! UNACCEPTABLE!We just shelled out a ton of money to Re-Sod our lawn due to their failure to treat it correctly! Our property looks terrible because of TruGreen. I hope this saves another family a lot of cost and stress that they have caused us.

      I made ONE inquiry on the phone. On that same call I determined their business isn't for me. I said that. And yet they are now harassing me with 3+ calls daily , every time different phone numbers after I block one they come up with a new one. They are making it impossible to cease contact and I have tried 5 different numbers to request permanent deletion of my data and it isn't working.

      We hired trugreen and paid in advance for a 6 times treatment to kill our weeds. The first time a technician showed up he sprayed the lawn but not the areas where we have most of the weeds, he said he wouldn't do it because they were on a flower bed, funny thing there are NO flowers there. He told me to call the office and complained which I did . When I asked him when he would comeback for the 2nd treatment he told me in 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I called and asked why the technician didn't show up the week before and the woman told me they comeback after 4 weeks so he will be back next week Friday. Well on Thursday I called back to make sure he will show up the next day, a different woman told me she didn't know what the technician was talking bout about coming back every 2 *********** also didn't know what the other woman was talking bout for the technician coming to my place on Friday, she swore the schedule was for Monday. Well they even called my wife to tell her he would be here on Monday.Well yesterday was that Monday. I took the day off from work bcause someone had to open the gate for the guy to spray on my backyard. I waited outside for the guy to show up for 5 hours and he never showed up.Even after 3 different customer service employees in 3 different calls swore to me he would come n he was on his way.After reading customers reviews I realized I was not alone with this complains I read like 14 people had the same complain bout promises n no shows. One person even complained the technician showed up unannounced not in the schedule day and let himself in into the property without the owners permission. Other people complained the 100 % money back guarantee is a lie cause trugreen don't give refunds n make you pay in full in advance.This company is unprofessional from beggining to the end. I want my money back

      I was contacted via email by the manager of my local TruGreen branch, who informed me of significant promotional discounts. I responded to request an estimate and subsequently received a quote that included a prepay discount offer. However, the email lacked any terms and conditions regarding the service.I was assured that all areas of my lawn, including those I had expressed concern about, would be properly treated. Based on these assurances, I accepted the offer and made the payment. Unfortunately, the service delivered was substandardmy lawn not only failed to improve but actually *************** a result, I decided to handle my lawn care myself this year and did not renew my service with TruGreen. Despite this, I have continued to receive persistent and unwanted contact from the company, claiming that I owe money for this year's service. They now assert that the service is automatically renewed, although there was no mention of auto-renewal in any of the communications I received.After speaking with several representatives over multiple conversations, the issue was eventually resolved. I was informed that a technician had incorrectly marked a service as completed when, in fact, no service had been performed.

      Had them for over 25 years and finally realized it was the worst thing I could do for my lawn. Front looks great. Back is a dirt patch. They came out last year and claimed it was due to a lack of sun. And that is true of some areas under trees. But there is a wide area in the back just over the fence that is now half grass half dirt and i just looked at it and it is getting full sun, so obviously there analysis is incorrect. I would recommend staying far away from them.

      Trugreen has billed me for a service I never signed up nor I received. They kept on calling and also received phone calls trying to collect payment for a service I never had or requested. They called today, May 23 2025, for a service I supposedly had on April 3, 2025.

      TruGreen Lawn Service 5/5/2025 Paid $164.66. We had installed new sod along the front edge of our lawn and the front fence at the end of March 2025 we also put topsoil and compost down the sod had rooted due to us watering our yard daily. The grass was beautiful green on May 5 when the technical service our lawn. Wednesday May 7, 2025, all the new sod had turn yellow and purple. I called to complaint, and they send someone on May 12, a note was left stating no topsoil or compost was lay and the grass was dry. I called again and a Mr. **** ********** -manager came to our home told me that the construction rocks left under the soil heats up and will damage the grass, and the grass is near the street it will heat up from the concrete and die. He suggested I continue to water more because it will come back green its Bermuda grass. I told him I know how to water my grass. I have a ****** water bill. I asked if the tech machine might have malfunctioned and caused too much chemical to be spread or the new sod should not have be treated, he said no & offered to have my yard treated with organic fertilizer, told him that is what was on May 5. He could only say water the grass more nothing they can do. I have been with this company since 09/14/2024, I received a message on May 14 from a **** from TruGreen stating that **** ********* said no damage was done by TruGreen and said he was told the customer was not watering the grass at all when they came out and they have pictures. Well back on September 2024 when I started my service I did not have any grass there. Mr ********* is a liar for saying we had not been watering our grass, I just want them to owe up for damaging our grass and replace it. We were 1st time customers and paid in full for the 9 treatments which was over $1400.00, we will never use their service and I will let my entire new neighborhood know how we was treated my Mr. **** ********** from TruGreen office located at *************************************

      I get constant spam emails from forged email addresses for this company. I've never given them my email address, never wished to do business with them and find it detestable that they offer no opt-out option and fill my inbox with their regular spam. Even if they claim it's not them but some 3rd-party marketing team, they are still fully responsible and engage in disgusting violation of US laws.
