      Terrible, I sympathise with all the other people that left reviews. I also paid for the year. I have lived in my house for 23 years and enjoyed *************** but not anymore. If I could post fotos I would - before and now. Almost all of my grass died. Sure they send people out and offer you a refund - so far nothing - so I had my family here for xmas to look at a desert. Lets see how good they are as a company - I will probably need to get 6 pallets of sod to replace this mess.

      TruGreen branch service manager ***************** has spoken with the customer. ***** has agreed with the customer to split the cost with him of resodding the lawn. The customer has agreed to contact ********************** with the invoice amount before giving the contractor the go ahead to an agreed upon price. TruGreen corporate care will continue following up with the customer throughout this process.

      Thier "service" is both fraudulent and incompetent. Besides contracting with them in the first place, I made the further mistake of pre-paying for the year to save 10%. All that did was give them the opportunity to steal by not providing some of the services paid for. Specifically, two different Spring insect control treatments totaling $320.27, three lawn services for $222.90, and a late Summer insect control application for $143.36. And when they did show up, the product was applied too sparsely to be effective, and in such a rush that not all the lawn was covered. They topped their performance off by aerating and seeding on August 1, a ridiculously early date for *****************, and true to the weather in this area, August was hot and there was no rain, rendering anything they did useless. Their incompetence is exceeded only by their outright thievery.

      Be very careful with this company, this company scams customers. The company constantly has sales people calling you to add things to your service. I finally agreed to what I thought was a one-time service to aerate my yard. One year later, I am receiving phone calls 2x weekly I did not pay a $250 for a service. This is strange as I am set up on auto pay for my regular service. They informed me they did another aerate, I said I did not request this. I was told when I requested this service one year ago they set this up as an annual service. I told them I was never informed of this, I said I requested a one-time service. I canceled all of my services with them. After speaking to several staff, one person finally agreed to cut the bill in half. I still did not agree, I requested an itemized bill be mailed to me as I never received one and I had deleted the app from the phone. For the next several months I continued to receive 3-4x a week phone calls to pay this bill. I continued to request this bill be mailed to me. I felt like I was being harassed at this point, and the bill never came. Finally, the second week in December, mind you it has been months now, I received a FINAL past due notice that my account has been suspended and I would be sent to collections as my account is now 80 days past due. This is still not an itemized bill as I requested from several different people I spoke to on the phone. When I decide I am never going to get this itemized bill, as they are thieves. On December ************************************************************* I can't pay anything as now it's telling me I owe nothing. Per the notice, I go online to pay the bill. I owe nothing. After months and months of harassment from this company, never sending me a bill I can now not pay them. I suggest you never, never, never sign up for their service.

      In review of the customers inactive account, the customers account is now at a zero balance. The customer agreed to pay half the balance in the account of $121.78. Any collection letters the customer receives can be disregarded.

      Worst company I have EVER worked with! Despite paying out $728.00+, I have absolutely nothing to show for the money! I had to redo my front yard myself, killing weeds & seeding. My backyard is 75% dead and there is 25% crabgrass, which they were supposed to have kill before they seeded. The day after they seeded it rained, washing all the seed away and they refused to return and reseed, thus dead back yard! Worst customer service team I have ever dealt with! Doesn't exist! I ACTUALLY give them NO stars! I refused to pay final bill for seeding after the seed got washed away the day after they seeded. Despite telling me they'd come to reseed, they never showed despite making an appointment with me to come reseed. Definitely not reliable!

      Trugreen gives anybody the opportunity to work there. As a result, their customers get really poor service, because the people that are hired often lie about treating their yards. Instead of fixing the problem, it's a COMMON THEME of theirs to cover it up to protect their employees, because they know they can't lose too many of them, or the work doesn't get done. I used to work as a technician and was committed to Trugreen. I have experienced their services as a customer, also. I busted my rear end as a technician to make sure that my customers always got the best service from me possible. Every time I did, some other tech would come to the yard and completely ruin everything I had done on that yard. It happened many times. There were many other issues because of incompetent "techs" that made my job much harder than it should've been. As a customer, I watched multiple times (different technicians each time) as they pulled up to the property, sat in their truck eating (after I got the notification that they arrived), threw a flag in the yard, and drove off. This is a common theme and happened while I was working there. It only got covered up. I know, because I was often the technician responsible for cleaning up their mess.As a former hard-working, dedicated technician for this company, I say stay away from Trugreen. They really do make empty promises and their incompetent technicians can't do the job.

      TruGreen's "pre-pay for a year of service" is a scam.On Nov. 10, 2022 I re-paid for a year of service, described as 7 total treatments of my lawn. I was also told that this would cover my lawn care until the next (2023) November.TruGreen started service on Nov. 15th, and continued to treat my lawn in the spring, including "two treatments in the same visit," completing my 7 treatments in July 2023. They then continued to treat my lawn and billed my credit card for additional services that I did not authorize through October 2023. Complaining to them, I was told "it was in the "contract" that service would continue without notice once my prepaid treatments were done. TruGreen is a rip-off company and THE ****PAY FOR A YEAR IS A SCAM.Horrible company practicing a scam.

      Tried to renew my service after cancelling it due to pending sale of property. Sales manager was absolutely nasty and sent me a very nasty (totally uncalled for) text after our conversation.       The TruGreen application operators do not appear to have professional, ethical or safe training by the TruGreen company. Twice in two months the operator has applied chemicals in 14+ mph gusting winds. Drift of chemicals is essential knowledge that is taught for an applicators license endorsement. Spraying chemicals in winds over 5mph is not applying correctly for the customers benefit or surrounding plants, pets, children. This also jeopardizes neighbors air quality, pets, children and plants. When I asked the operator why he was out to spray on such a windy day, his answer was that he had no knowledge or training about the problem of spraying in the wind(drift) or that TruGreen would be liable for damage due to drift to areas not intended to be sprayed. I called the main phone number several times to speak to someone in regards to these incidences, the representatives assured me that they would pass this information on, but I have never heard from TruGreen. Pretty poor business practices. Not a company I'd hire.
