      I called to end services after using them for 2 years and seeing no improvement in my yard at all. Instead of closing my account ******* offered a complimentary visit and then to close it. Fast forward 2 months and he did not close my account. Sleazy and misleading sales tactic.

      My daughter called TruGreen for lawn care service for her home. However, TruGreen has the lawn service agreement under my name, not my daughter's. I never called for lawn care service this year (2023) or last year (2022). I used TruGreen years ago and was unsatisfied and discontinued service; I found another company to service my lawn at my home address. My daughter and I have called and explained numerous times that I never requested lawn service, giving them the correct name and phone number of the responsible. But they refused to make the change. Please do not use this company. The service is horrible, and how they handle business is worse.

      Tru green burned my front yard with their chemicals and they continue to ignore my emails to get it fixed. They refunded me my money and cancelled my contract but have yet to fix the problem. I have them on video of when they arrived to my house, when they sprayed and after they left how my grass started to turn brown immediately after they drove off. My grass is now completely dead. I do not recommend this company to anyone!

      I was a customer until the company told me if I wanted to get rid of the weeds I would have to pull them up myself. They are one of the worst companies I have dealt with in my life. Please dont waste your money. I called them to cancel the service and the lady said sure but that they would like to send someone out to look at my lawn. I said okay but I still wanted to cancel because I dont need them if I must pull out the weeds by hand or treat them myself like I was doing. My lawn was not looking any better than others without the service. They sent out two more specialist individuals to look and stated that they apologize and would like to give a month of free service because their representative had been in error. I said okay but I do not intend to pay for the service. They stated no problem, it was free. I did not see anyone come back after that and there was no improvement. They then charged me for the service they said was free and two other services they said I was behind on when I paid all services on time. Their collections department then hounded me like a dog in heat. Finally, I paid for the poor services and services I did not receive to get them off my back. It took from March to October to terminate and clear my bill (I hope it is clear). They hung up on me twice without provocation and it was near impossible to get someone on the phone who could help. Worst company to deal with. All they want is your money, service is not a priority and they will lie to get your money. I asked for cancellation many times and they continued to "provide service" and charge for it, then refused to correct the problem. The manager and specialist came, inspected the lawn and agreed that there were many weeds, and promised free service, but no corrective action was taken while the billing continued. I have had a terrible experience with TruGreen. Please do not make the same mistake I did. TruGreen is a rip off.

      In review of the customers inactive account, ********************** corporate care has spoken with the customer apologized and offered to refund the customer back half of the charge. The customer declined and stated that he wants nothing to do with this company.

      This type of customer service is unacceptable! We had ********************** send a tech to aerate our yard on Sept 9 (Also note that we recently had our backyard remodeled with hardscape). The guy tore up a majority of the grass in our backyard (now we have ruts), drove the aerator machine over our new travertine and cracked multiple tiles, broke our new drain, and walked away without mentioning any of the damage. Oh and left us a bill to pay. We arrived home shortly after to see our backyard destroyed. It took me over a week to get someone to come out to see the damage. Then I had to call/text him multiple times to find out if he got a quote to fix the travertine and yard damage, now I cant seem to get anyone out here to fix this. I have called the corporate office multiple times and I am consistently told that a GM will get in contact with me. Almost a month and a half later, I have not gotten any confirmation that they will be rectifying this situation.

      Trugreen is a total ripoff, their employees are not at all committed and the pricing by far is out of control. After my sad experience with them and the incompetence *** asked and demanded that they not just remove my number from their list but also remove my address from their books. Needless to say they are still calling and mailing. Buyers beware! One star only because theres no partial star.

      I wish I came to this website first. Ive had TrueGreen treat my lawn starting in the late summer. But when I first called, they asked me questions about my lawn and decided just from that, what my treatment would be without coming out first to look and make an evaluation. I have many bare spots but my first treatment was fertilizer and grub treatment. Then later, I got an aeration which made many holes in the ground and seeding at the same time. Its also strange how I barely saw any seeds on the ground. I watered every day for over a week on a third of an acre. After a month, I didnt see any hint of new grass. I called and complained and TG sent out another truck and did the same thing again. But I still dont see any new grass. I also had weed treatments. The first one didnt do much so I complained about that. I swear, I think they dilute their solutions to save money. But after getting this third and last weed treatment, the service man instead of parking on the street like theyve been doing from the start, decided to bring that heavy service vehicle onto my driveway. ****, the hose they have can go a very long distance so I dont know why that had to be done. So this guy was here for only ten minutes treating my weeds. The guy practically ran. After all this, I am not satisfied with their treatments. I can do a better job on my own. And their truck left many black tire marks on my nice clean driveway, making me very angry because now I have to hire someone to power wash it. These guys dont clean up after themselves either.

      Trugreen placed a recruitment call to me Jul 3, 2023. Quoted me $850 for lawncare services, and indicated a discount for paying up front. Gave them my card information to take payment. They contacted me 10/9/2023 (3 months after the fact) to state there was an "error" and they are going to be recharging my card the $850. In what world is that acceptable to come back 3 months later to indicate you made a billing error of that amount and are going to take payment whenever you decide to rectify your error?

      In review of the customers inactive account, corporate customer care contacted the customer directly by email apologizing for the inconvenience caused, confirming the account has been cancelled/closed,confirming email correspondence has been sent to the customer explaining there was a payment processing issue with several hundred customers concerning prepayment transactions, confirming an email was sent to the customer from our billing department explaining the error, confirming the prepayment of $850.42 was never processed or received, asking the customer to check with their banking institution if any discrepancies appeared, confirming on 10/13/23 their credit card was charged $640.32 for 5 lawn applications completed and another charge of $84.95 was collected on 10/17/23, since the customer wanted to cancel all services,confirming no further payments will be processed,

      I wanted the same lawn expert to come out so I didn't have various folks I don't know or trust walking around in my yard, which has some expensive materials. They could not and would not guarantee the same person. There system just can't make it happen although I was promised thay's take care of it by assigning my PREFERRED PERSON every month. They seem to prefer that their team members come when you are not home so they don't have to do a good job. I caught them on video barely spraying my yard in 5 minutes and I have a half acre. It should take AT LEAST 20 mins. They sent someone back out, but you have to watch these guys. I will not use them again.

      I did not have a problem with the applications but we received notice of service on several occasions only half an hour to an hour in advance. We have dogs and toys we would like to take care of prior to fertilizing. Next problem was leaving the gate wide open after leaving and our dogs getting out. Lastly I started my service in the fall of 2022 and prepaid for six services they came in the fall of 2023 and did not do a service but billed me 63 dollars. I immediately called and asked why I was billed since I had prepaid and she did not know and said they would refund it. I then asked how to cancel next year and was told that I could not cancel until after my final service and instructed to call in a few months. 2 days later they came and did a service and my refund was rejected so I called and was told that the service that they did was the start of the next cycle. So basically they told me I was unable to cancel until December or January for my next cycle but was pretty much forced to pay for my fall service because they couldn't cancel until later. Bottom line is this is confusing but they forced me into a payment that i did not want. Would never recommend this company just based on there communication.
