      True green I am at my wits end. I have called 4 times, spoken to 7 people and still nothing. It starts in April when a True green salesman came to the door. He stated that I could save some money and have better results than Weed man, my current provider. I was a little unhappy with my current lawn care due to the fact I had paid for aeration in February but in late April it had yet to be done. The salesman stated not to worry, I will throw in the aeration for free if you pay for the next year today. I paid and that was that, I thought. Here we are in October and still no aeration. The best part is when I ask True green says We have no record of that. Not to mention the last time they came out the technician told me he was only to spray the front half of the property. So the moral of the story is to stay with Weed Man because True green is great during the campaign season but when they get voted in they forget what they promised. They also change the rules of the game.

      Thank you for your feedback!  A member of the corporate care team spoke with this customer today.  We apologized the sales representative promised them the aeration would be free and did not follow through with it.  It is too late in the year to do an aeration on his ******* lawn, but we did agree to do one at no charge next spring.  We have also updated the instructions on the account so the technicians know going forward to treat the entire lawn.

      I have used TruGreen to maintain my lawn for several years, overall service was okay... However this year I noticed several brown spots and weed in my lawn, I placed a call and ask to investigate.The technician left a note after investigating confirming that was Grubs damaged and he has treated it...My assessment that we should never had this issue because I have already paid for the grubs control application, and greatly appreciate their effort in putting more chemical to alleviate the problem, however damage has already been done and I am not getting my lawn by putting more chemicals, they need to reseed to remediate the issue and get my lawn back...

      They accepted initials M L as a customer in there system, sprayed my lawn without consent because the service guy got the address wrong, and killed my garden/wildflowers and catnip for my cats. The only system in place to prevent this is for the service guy to knock on a door but nobody has to be home. Therfore how can they confirm they are at the right address. Terrible business practices.Accepting M L as a name has to be illegal.

      Common theme I am seeing - Trugreen lawn care employees are lazy and do not service customer lawns. I have experienced this multiple times over the past year and have ended up cancelling my service with Trugreen after 17 years. I have had some issues with them over the years but they were responsive/willing to address after I complained and I was able to live with it given how much less they charged compared to competitors. Yesterday evening, I watched the Trugreen truck park next to my driveway on my nest cameras, it sat there and no one ever got out, it drove off an hour later and they texted me a service ticket/invoice....unreal. As of Oct 2023, I don't know or care at this point what is occurring at Trugreen but my complaints have gone nowhere. I'd imagine they are doing quite a bit of hiring and firing because unlike previous years I never see the same guy twice over the past year.

      In review of the customers inactive account, corporate customer care contacted the customer directly apologizing for any inconvenience caused, confirming $38.00 has been returned to the credit card on file,confirming the service manager ***************************** talked to the customer by phone,the customer requested no more further service because of wondering if the applications were actually being completed, confirming the customer has started to receive quotes from other lawn companies, the service manager confirmed with the customer they would continue to train and try to get the best employees possible, confirming the account has been cancelled/closed

      True green personnels are not very honest and forthcoming when you speak with them on the phone. I called their office to complain about weed issues I am having, even with their treatments. So I was informed they would send someone out at the earliest available day and my next regular service would be in October, my re- treatment date was 9/20/23 which was done, ok. The next thing is, I am receiving an invoice for the re-treatment. How do I get billed for a re-treatment on a complaint of weeds not being controlled?????

      The first year, th***s went well... But since then -- the past two years -- we have had TG workers break ornamental flowerpots on two occasions; one time a humm***bird feeder was flung out against our back fence; another guy, carry*** a hose dribbl*** godonlyknows what chemicals, took a shortcut by walk*** (and dribbl***) across our back deck; another guy came, stayed three minutes, never went into the back yard, yet claimed he had done the service. I lodged complaints with our local office (**********, *****), and was promised a discount for the next year. But the discount never showed on my bill, and when I called to ask about it, nobody had any record of a discount offer. This morn*** was the last straw -- they told me someone would do a lawn service, which is odd because I had informed them a month ago that our grass has been more or less destroyed by drought and we're not allowed to do any water***. But, I've been want*** to get rid of TG anyway, so why not let them play out the str*** -- they told me in August I had three service calls left. Well, their guy showed up all right, pound*** on our door a couple of minutes before 7AM, while we were still asleep and a half- hour before sunrise. I told him to get lost -- I did not appreciate be*** awakened that way, and why scatter law treatments in the dark?I called ****** office this morn*** and told them we were finished. I was definite about that because, in previous conversations, they were awfully vague about when my contract expired, and how I could prevent them from automatically charg*** for another year. They told me I still had one service call left -- it should have been two -- and after a lot of to-*** and fro-*** they said my account has finally been canceled. I will keep a *very* close eye on my Amex account to make sure they don't try to renew me anyway. I don't think this website allows me to give a zero-star review, but that's what I would choose --

      My lawn is a mess because of an active grub problem, which I had a treatment for. They say their work is guaranteed but Ive called 4 times, each time given a date when they will re-treat and still NO ONE has shown up. Each day I lose more of my lawn to the crows that are feasting on it. In addition to that, my routine lawn maintenance treatment has been pushed back 3 times now! Its nearly impossible to speak to a manager which I have requested and yet to hear from anyone. I will NOT be renewing with them next year. Their services are the worst!

      I'm going to try and remain as objective as possible in this review, but do yourself a favor and DO NOT hire TruGreen. After several years with a local lawn care company, I was enticed to switch over to TruGreen given the number of promotions being offered. I had used TruGreen at another residence and was not happy, but it was over a decade ago, and I thought it couldn't hurt to give them a second chance. I was dead wrong.First, the actual service constantly would get rescheduled, and when someone did actually come out to treat the lawn, they would be here for no more than 10 minutes. I can verify that given that I work remotely and know exactly when they arrive compliments of our family dog's barking notification. The condition of the lawn was the worst I've ever seen in every facet from weeds to spotting to the overall color of the lawn.Next, the customer service element appears friendly and available, but does not actually solve any problems. I simply tried to cancel my service. If TruGreen hired as many service people as they do sales people, they may actually have a chance. I was getting calls around the clock from individuals trying to restore service and harass me about the condition of my surrounding trees and bushes to upsell even more services. How about you focus on what you were hired to do, and do that well, before you push yourselves for more revenue?Customer service's solution was to send someone out to do an "analysis." This is code for "we're restoring your services without your permission" as if they "saved" the account. The analysis revealed nothing despite the feedback. I finally had enough and canceled all services plus pushed to be removed from all sales lists. This is a joke of a company that has no desire to provide anyone with good lawn care services. This is a greedy, revenue first, sales staff over service team members focused organization. If I could give a negative rating, I would, but here we are.

      I signed up for one year fertilizer, sales man said they would come every 2 weeks. They have come ONE TIME ************ is a scam.

      In review of the active customers complaint, corporate customer care contacted the customer directly, via phone and via email and did not receive a response or return call from the customer.   The customer service agreement includes a total of 8 lawn applications (for fertilizer and weed control) a chinch bug application and a potash application. Which are to be applied every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season. The service agreement is not a year's contract, it is by the season. Depending on where the customer lives, the services may stop due to the weather. The customer is in ******* so their services would continue. Their service contract would AUTO-RENEW after April's application is completed. TruGreen also has a service guarantee where we will come back out between regular scheduled services at no cost to the customer. If they have any questions or concerns, please give TruGreen a call.
