      I reached out to get a quote last year and ended up just doing it on my own. When they called back the first time, I told them I wasn't interested anymore. They continued to spam my phone every 4 days for months from different numbers even though I said I wasn't interested.I finally picked up the phone and just asked to be please removed and the rep asked "Well, why did you bother reaching out then?"He then said "I'll tell you what, I'll put you on the do not call list if you let me give you a quote first" which is ********. I told him to just add me to the list and he hung up instantly.Super unprofessional, overpriced, and spammy. I promise you can run to ACE or ********** and spray your lawn to get the same results for 1/6th of the price and none of the attitude.

      Thank you for your feedback.  A member of the corporeate care team spoke with ****************** this morning.  We apologized to him for the behavior of our sales representative.  We let ****************** know we will pull the recording and make sure the individual receives additional coaching so this does not happen to anyone else.  We will also make sure ********************** information has been placed on our internal Do Not Contact list.

      I never hired TruGreen. *********** has been doing my mom's out of state property for 40 years. I have now been sent to collections for services I never ok'd or signed any contract for. They must have trespassed. Prior experience with TruGreen techs only fertilizing 25% of the lawn because they are cutting corners because they get paid by the number of properties they hit ruined my lawn in the past and I would never, EVER hire this company again for any property in the entire country. SCAM!!!

      We appreciate your feedback ***********  After researching the account, we found that TruGreen acquired ****************** and its book of business through a merger effective 9/16/22.  We sincerely apologize that you were unaware of the merger, as there are normally multiple communications to customers during the process to keep them informed of the changes.  Happy Lawn's records indicate that at the time of the merger, there was an open balance from service provided by them on 8/1/22, and this balance carried over to TruGreen for further follow up.  After receiving your review, TruGreen's escalation department made several attempts to contact you at the email provided but has been unsuccessful, and we do not have a current phone number on file.  Please respond to us and we would be happy to help you resolve your concerns.

      I moved into a new home where there was, i believe, a tree that was dying. Only a portion of the tree had leaves. I just did an online search for someone who does lawn care, and TruGreen came up as one of the searches. I gave them a call and asked, if they could send someone out to check it out as a consultation. That was all I wanted. A consult and a plan if the tree could be saved.The rep I spoke with on the phone also was trying to sell me this and that. Gave me all sorts of plans that ranged all the way $10k+. All from *********** for a consultation. I told her, I am not interested for the time being but may look into it another time. It was still early in October and so I dont really know how the state of the lawn, shrubs, trees are really like when it is full bloom. As the rep was quite pushy, I signed up for 3 services for ************ and that I would be able to speak to the person coming on site regarding the possible dying tree.The day came and I got a text saying they are on their way. I waited in my office for maybe an 1 1/2 hour before I checked my phone where I received the text saying service has been done and invoice being processed. I didnt get any anyone at the door to come speak to me about the dying tree. I went outside and saw little white pellets on the ground which I assume they were on the property for a quick moment fertilization and left without any communication.I called TruGreen and explained the situation. I was promised a refund of the service and that they wont count it as a service. Needless to say, they did not give me a refund, second service came out, and then a third. Knowing no refund was coming and no honor in their words. I just wanted to cancel TruGreen all together and considered money lost. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

      We have been a customer with a lawn maintenance company called ************* professionals, based in *******, ** for a long time. Last year, they were bought out by TruGreen. While we have no complaint about the service, but the billing is a different story. We always pre-paid in the beginning of the season with discounts, and never get a bill at the end of the season. Since we came over to TruGreen, we got a bill for additional charges that we never had to paid before. At the end of ********, and the beginning of TruGreen, we were promised everything will remain the same, but obviously that's not the case. When I called and explain the situation, they just don't care. Very disappointed! It's time to look for a new provider. I'm sure there are plenty of good lawn care providers out there it's easier to work with.

      Earlier today, at approximately 11:45, a sales rep approached me while I was in my yard. He asked if I was the homeowner, and I said I was. He then congratulated me on my new home and asked if he could talk about getting my yard in shape. When he told me he was from Trugreen I told him I wasnt interested. He asked why, and I explained that there were two reasons. First was because the person on my street using Trugreen has a terrible looking lawn. The sales rep interrupted me and tried to blame the homeowner for not watering correctly. I asked him to let me finish. I tried to tell him the second reason is because the last Trugreen sales rep in the neighborhood was on video kicking other lawn companies yard signs out of the yard and down the street like a soccer ball. At this point the sales reps ******** changed dramatically. The best way I can describe it is he snapped. He told me I was making a big mistake not hiring Trugreen. I told him I would never hire a company whose sales reps were so hostile and rude. He said it was a billion dollar company and he had plenty of sales so he didnt need mine. He began walking to his car and he turned and yelled that my lawn was ugly and that I was a dumbass. Yes, he called me a dumbass. I feel his behavior and profanity were completely unacceptable. I will never deal with a company whose representatives act in that manner. To make matters worse, he displayed this unprofessional behavior and profane language in front of my wife. If he had listened to my reasons for saying I wasnt interested and shared his reasons why Trugreen was a good choice, I would not be writing this. I would still not use Trugreen, but I would have respected his efforts and thanked him for his time. But for him to resort to profanity, insults and name calling was not how I assume they want their company represented.

      My security cameras show someone from TruGreen trying to get in the gate in my backyard. I called the company and after 30 minutes was told someone from my local branch would call me within ***** hours. That never happened. My concern is why is someone trying to get in my gate? What if it wasn't locked, what would they have done? And what might they have sprayed on my front lawn before trying to get in the back? I think I have the right to know if chemicals were accidentally sprayed on my lawn, that is scary in itself. But then someone trying to get into my backyard? The company could have put my mind at ease with a simple phone call, but I see that is not going to happen as it has been over two weeks. Really bad way to handle a legitimate concern over safety and chemical use.

      A member of our corporate care team reached out to ************** and apologized to her for what happened.  We explained to her that our technicians are trained to start treatments in the back yard, and move to the front.  If they do not have access to the entire property, then it is our policy to not treat the property.  ********* care told her we were fairly confident that since she the technician was unable to get into the back yard and no service summary or flag was left that nothing was applied.  We also reached out to the local management team to make them aware of what happened, and they contacted Ms. ****** as well.

      I really want there to be something good to say but their service is atrocious. They lack professionalism and their ability to care is almost non-existent. I used their services for a year when I first purchased my home and it killed areas of my lawn leaving my soil arid and impotent. Decided to give them another opportunity and after over seeding and over fertilizing my lawn they decided to cut ties and cancel my services without resolving the previous complaint of YET AGAIN killing areas of my grass. This is outrageous and their current rating is true to account and well deserved. Good riddance to the failing franchise owners in the near future.

      Thank you for your feedback.  A member of the corporate care team reached out to this individual.  The customer was upset by the service the received from Trugreen, and at this point stated there was nothing we could do to help them.  The customer did state they received an invoice for a service they thought they had already paid.  ********* care researched this invoice and found a duplicate account in our system.  We have credited the invoice in question.

      I had initially contacted TruGreen for seeding & aeration services in 2019 and subsequently personally requested service the following two years. However I didn't request this service in 2022. TruGreen never contacted me this year to see if I was still interested in having this service again this year. Without any advance notice, my authorization or I being there to cancel the service, TruGreen showed up at my property on Oct 31, 2022 and attempted to perform the service to a lawn completely covered with leaves making it impossible to do the unrequested service properly. As a result areas were missed and there was no evidence of seed in over 90% of the yard. Coming this late in the year and with continuing to fall daily made this work useless and a complete waste of time and money..When I contacted TruGreen customer service about this, they said the original service agreement called for auto renewal of the service. The problem is that TruGreen never gave me a service agreement to read or sign or communicated the same to me. Secondly, according to customer service, ********************** was supposed to contact me the day before the service which they didn't do this year or prior years. In years before the only notice I would receive would be to say that they will be there in a hour or so nothing the day before as customer service said. In prior years I have been home to oversee the work and make sure it was done correctly and to my satisfaction. Since I wasn't home the unacceptable and unrequested work was done. The only notice I received was to say the work was done which is to late.Tru Green's business model is not to disturb or contact the customer. Thirdly, to charge $250 for a hour worth of work is outrageous and price gouging of the customer. It is a way for ********************** to make a quick dollar at the end of the year at the expense of the customer. I only wish I could make $250 a hour. There appears others have similar problems with the company's business practices

      I have been with TruGreen for four years and ended my service this year. My first two years were great. I had one tech only perform service on my yard and he did an amazing job. After he left I was getting a new guy every visit. One tech literally pulled up, said my dog was in the backyard, and drove off within 30 seconds. My dog was in the house the entire time, clearly he didn't feel like working that day. The following visit my cameras picked the tech up peeing on the side of my house. And the final nail in the coffin was the last visit of the year. I just went through an entire backyard renovation adding a new patio and a pool. The yard was just freshly seeded and had straw put down. The soil was still extremely soft too. The tech used a ride on spreader for this application and drove right over the soft soil and seed. Now I have to repair the tire ruts come spring time. Terminated my contract with TruGreen yesterday, good riddance.

      If i could give zero stars I would. This company is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with in my life. The techs don't do what they are suppose to, the "manager" does not call back or follow up AT ALL, and the person who told me they would always be in contact with me is constantly ignoring my texts and calls. Do not use Trugreen, they just scam you and take your money.
