      As I read other complaints about TruGreen, the stories sound similar in many cases. Bottom line is I question whether several of my lawn service visits were ever completed. There is no oversight. This fall when they showed up to aerate and overseed my yard their machine tore up my front parking area. I call and they said they would give me a discount on what they have charged my credit card account automatically and redo for free. They ended up redoing he work but I paid for that service also...and no discount!For a couple years I had a good technician who would talk with me and I believed really cared for our yard...no more. When I had problems and called I never, never, never heard back from anyone in management concerning my account.I don't have any more energy to put behind trying to get a company with poor customer service to do better. My money is gone, my yard was torn up, TruGreen doesn't care. I guess TruGreen is the biggest and it's all about the numbers for them. I will continue to tell all I know not to use TruGreen...find someone who cares about your yard, keeps their promises...and that's not TruGreen...

      I have been a customer with ********************** lawn service for more than 10 year, I have been complaining about the weeds growing in my lawn repeatedly. Their inability to treat the weeds in my lawn resulted in frustration. One of the service tech told me these weeds will appear again and cannot be killed. I have been a loyal customer and recommended this company to many of my friends and family members as well. This untreated weed issue had started since Jan/Feb 2022. I am holding the last 2 months payments as the weeds are not treated completely. I am willing to release the payment once the weeds are killed. I had even offered to make 1 month payment immediately and once the weeds are killed, willing to release the final payment of 2nd month.But the company is not willing to treat my lawn unless the full payment of 2 months is released. I regret being a loyal customer for ********************** which is absolutely useless and does not care for it's customers. Terrible experience!!! They need to realize that customers have many choices when it comes to lawn care and this approach will lead them to lose the customers very quickly

      Thank you for your feedback.  A member of the corporate care team reached out to the customer, and coordinated with the customer and the local management team to set up a property visit.  The local manager determined the weeds the customer has are a variety that we are unable to treat.  At this time the customer's account is canceled.  We will be crediting the balance.  The customer will work next spring to have the lawn re-sodded, and once it has an opportunity to root he will us back to set up service.

      Ive been using Trugreen for over 11 yrs. On 12/1/2022 I received a text that the Trugreen technician had arrived, I watched from a window in my home, the technician showed up for my lawn service in which he sat in the truck for 10 mins. I got a text 10 mins later that stated the service was complete. He then got out the truck and put a door tag that indicated service was complete and what was done that day. This technician never serviced my lawn! I watched him the entire time (12mins to be exact) from when he pulled up until he left my property, I was livid and immediately called Trugreen. I wanted to speak to a manager. I wanted to know what action would be taken against this technician. I got the run around from a couple of phone reps. I was told a manager would contact me in 24hrs. This never happened. I got a call from customer care, not a manager. I asked over and over to speak with a local manager. Another request was put in by the customer care rep to have a manager call me and as of today, I still have not heard from a manager. I went ahead and canceled my Trugreen service with the customer care agent. Now I sit and wonder how many times has this happened? How many lawns were disregarded but billed that day? Unbelievable and ridiculous customer service!

      Trugreen is TRASH! **************** is NONEXISTENT! In regards to my complaint. I received 3 calls on separate days from a Trugreen 1-800/1-888 customer service number. Each time, the call would ring and once I picked up to answer. I was disconnected. Very interesting that this happened all 3 times. Im assuming, the protocol is to attempt to contact the customer. So, once again, ********************** makes it appear they are doing their job. But indeed are NOT! Trugreen is TRASH!

      What a horrible year we had with TruGreen. We prepaid for the year and saw no change in the condition of the yard. When they aerated and seeded in the fall they did not aerate to the end of the property even though I pointed out the property line. They also did not seed *************. We emailed them to complain because we can never talk to someone directly. Our email got no response. We had to buy $100 of seed to complete the job. We called and cancelled but never received a confirmation. A week later we receive a message that another service was scheduled. We had to call again to cancel. Terrible experience.

      The worst experience with a company I've ever had. I chose the pre-pay plan for one year. The problem is that you can never speak to anyone except someone in a call center somewhere. I have never been able to speak with a service technician. When they seeded and air-ated my yard I showed them the lot boundaries which they proceeded to ignore, and did not spread seed even over all the areas that they air-ated. I wrote a lengthy email describing the issues and they never contacted me. After my year pre-pay was over they proceeded to schedule applications and then charged my credit card. I called to cancel my service and they said I would receive a cancellation confirmation email within 48 hours, which I never received...then they proceeded to continue to schedule applications. I had to call to cancel again, this time recording the conversation so I had proof if I needed to dispute the credit card charge. I recommend that you DO NOT hire TruGreen...it is a scam!

      I have security camera show person didn't apply substance(s) on entire lawn...and left. Called TruGreen at 7:00 pm, they told me to wait 10 days to see if it takes. I replied, he didnt put it down properly, what's taking. I asked for email to send camera footage and she gave me wrong email. Called again at 8:23 pm before 9:00 pm which is closing and got message they closed. Tried the contact us site and that wasn't working either. Truly dissapointed.

      My 1st application was not applied and was charged for their prepayment service. I had dandelions all over my yard. My fall treatment was for aeration and seedling.. they only did a strip of aeration in my backyard and no seedling.

      A member of the corporate care team reached out to the customer.  We apologized to the customer for the issues they experienced with us.  Our local management team evaluated the customer's property.  They determined the customer did not have the correct type of seeding.  We will be doing a slice seeding for the customer in the spring of 2023 to help the lawn recover.

      I signed up 2 years ago for a lawn care package. The results were negligible! My lawn looked no better after 2 years. The aeration and over seeding as well as weed control was a joke. There is no one to call and no technician who cares about your lawn or results.This was not the case years ago when I used them! Customer service is virtually non existent and no one cared when I complained or canceled my service.Do not recommend this company!!!!I wish I had read the reviews before I used them!!

      Thank you for your feedback.  A member of the customer care team reached out to the customer.  We apologized for the problems they had while on the service with us.  The customer's service has been canceled, and we have agreed to refund the customer for the aeration and seeding that was completed this year. The customer is aware it can take 5-7 business days for the refund to process.  The customer care team will follow up with her to make sure she receives the refund.

      I would not recommend Trugreen to anyone. They bought out **************** last year and I've had nothing but problems with them ever since. Last year they didn't perform aeration until I called them 3 times and I specifically mentioned I wanted shade seed put down. Never did they mention seed wasn't part of my contract. This year they claimed they treated my yard, but my ring camera never showed they were even here. Also, no flag. This year they came to perform aeration with no seed and they didn't perform the service until November. Late in the year to get grass to grow before winter. Then they call me to put seed down mid-November which they haven't done. They have delayed the service 3 times in a row. They will not get anymore of my money.

      I was willing to pay very good money to have them come save and maintain my lawn. Ultimately, I had to cancel my service because they CANNOT BE TRUSTED. They would not come when an appointment was scheduled. I would call them to inquire, and they would tell me the appointment was movedwithout notifying me. Even worse, they would NOT come to service the lawn but then tell me they did. Someone would call me and say that a technician came out and assessed/serviced and they suggest I buy some new service. For multiple reasons, there was no way a technician serviced our house on some of the dates they said.In the beginning (when I was ****), I agreed to purchase an additional service over the phone. I was quoted the price and then see my credit card was charged differently (over 8x the quoted price). Because they just opted me in to pay the full year in advance. Even a month after I cancelled my service, TruGreen called me to say that a technician serviced my lawn a few days prior and suggested I buy X additional service. I was shocked that they were so messy in their own deceptive practices, that they would still be trying to pump money out of me with lies well after I cancelled my service.The amount refunded to me was also in question. I simply asked for a receipt showing the amount charged for the services performed. A simple receipt was impossible to get. That fact alone shows they are not a well-run nor honest business.I wish I had looked at all these similar reviews before choosing to do business with them. I just feel it's my obligation to warn other people now.

We discussed the concern she had about the refund she received, and sent her an email with details regarding how the prepayment was applied and why she was refunded the amount she received.  We confirmed she received the email, and will contact us if she has any further questions once she has an opportunity to review it.
