      I have been trying for 3 days to have someone call me back. We are NOT customers of TruGreen, yet they treated our lawn. The only way I knew something happened was the presence of their lawn flag. I have spoken with 3 separate "customer service" people, all of whom took my information. The first told me I could expect a call back in a week!!! UNACCEPTABLE. The second two told me I should expect a call in 48 hours. It has been 48 hours.We want to know what chemicals were used on our chemical-free lawn, and want to make sure this does not happen again!!!

      ********** 09/21/2022 I called TruGreen three years ago because my needles on my blue spruce trees were falling out and they suggested a program that theyve been doing now for three years but it is not working and my needles are continuing to fall out, after several phone calls to them they explain to me that I have been on the wrong program for this whole time and suggested a new program and I have asked to talk to a manager about refunds for the last 2 to 3 years and I have made three phone calls to talk with managers and I have received no phone calls back but they are there to take my money but when they make a mistake they wont even refund my money.

      A member of the local management team reached out to the customer and discussed the program they received versus what they thought they should have been set up on, and discussed the benefits they received.  We agreed to do the first 3 tree/shrub applications in 2023 at no charge to help make up for the misunderstanding.  The customer was satisfied with this resolution.  ***************** Team verified the discounts have already been applied to his account.

      Terrible company with terrible service. I was scheduled for an aeration and overseeding. The tech performed this service in August? This would be the worst time to seed in my opinion. I received no consideration from customer service so I cancelled all future services. Even though this was a waste of 402 dollars I was willing to pay for this service, but I receive an email bill and when i tried to pay online the link in the email was to an old account. Had to spend an hour on the phone waiting to straighten the bill due with a representative and she could have cared less about the problems I encountered trying to pay. Avoid TruGreen they are just trying to generate sales and could care less about the service that is provided

      A member of the ************** Team spoke with this customer.  We apologized for how they were treated by our **************** department.  We discussed the early season aeration and seeding, and explained that customers can get successful gemmation as long as the seed stays moist.  At this point, the customer has already canceled the service, and do not want to continue with us.

      TruGreen has been yanking my chain for over 6 months, simply kicking the can down the road, in terms of going through the same dismal motions, not following up, not addressing REPEATED consumer complaints, and empty promises. The service provided has not only NOT helped my yard, but rather, my yard has gone to a point where it will take several more months of treatment (not from TruGreen though, because their products are obviously ineffective), but it might require for me to re-sod my backyard...which is costly and an unnecessary expense. After escalating this NUMEROUS TIMES, I was assured by their "escalation/cancelation department", that a branch manager or another manager would contact me...instead, I simply receive persistent sales calls, trying to cross-sell and avoiding my issues. I have threatened to cancel, and they continue to assure me that they guarantee great results...but instead, the same ineffective service is done sparingly, and watching your lawn slowly erode is a painful thing. I have worked in Sales/C.S for over 30 years, and this is simply unacceptable and beyond frustrating. Not sure how much more time/effort I need to continue to put in to convey the fact that their services aren't helping and I need results ASAP. I've already resorted to removing part of my lawn, due to chinch bug infestation and last of effectiveness of TruGreen products. It may take another 6 months or so, but the clear path is obvious; ineffective treatments will lead to further ineffective results (do we know the definition of insanity??). Beyond frustrated!! I've shown nothing but patience, respect and willingness to do whatever necessary to solve this...but since my local branch manager, who was supposed to call me about a week ago has given me radio-silence....I have no choice but to alert anyone/everyone of this situation.

      Thank you for your feedback!  A member of the ************** Team reached out to this customer today.  The customer stated *****, one of the local service managers, has already visited the property.  He promised the customer we would do a free aeration for the customer tomorrow to help the lawn recover, and then follow up with a weed control for sedge grasses next week.  The ************** Team will follow up with the customer next week to make sure the service is completed.

      I think there a rip off. They charged me for a service they did not do. They literally drove up to my house put a sign down and left. I have it all on camera. The application was supposed to be 50% off and they charged full price for something they did not do.

      A member of the ************** Team has been in touch with this customer.  She was more upset that it took multiple calls to get a resolution than what the technician did.  I apologized for the issues she had.  The previous representative canceled her account as requested and issued her a refund for the service.  She is aware it can take 5-7 business days for the refund to process.

      this company does not OVERSEED as they state when selling the contract. they only broadcast seed. this company will do nothing if your not happy with the service. this company will call you to re-sign your contract 6 months into your year service. at that point if you tell them to finish the year but you will not re-sign with them, they will still come back and begin performing your next years service before your first year is completed and proceed to bill you for the next year. they do this so you don't realize the end of year service isn't actually your last service but your following years service. these guys are basically criminals. they lie and trick you to continue their service and billing. never again... and after several calls to customer service with no refund i have claim fraud charges with my credit card company.

      Thank you for your feedback.  A member of the ************** Team has tried to reach this customer multiple times to discuss the concerns they had with their service, but we have not been able to reach them.  Using a spreader to broadcast seed is a method that can be used to overseed lawns, and it can be very effective as long as the seed is cared for properly afterwards.

      I had aeration and seeding done in mid august with 90 ++ deg temp.I have a sprinkler system and watered 2 times a day and 5 weeks later no sign of new grass growing. Told it will take 4- weeks to germinate, I do believe the grass seed is not going to germinate It should have been done in 1st or 2nd week of Sept like other company's Total waste of money too me

      A member of the ************** Team has been in touch with this customer.  We apologized to the customer for a lack of results from the aeration and seeding.  We explained that we do have a lot of success with aerations and seedings done in August.  We told the customer we cannot guarantee germination because there are too many factors outside of our control that contribute to it (watering practices, leaves/debris on the property, etc).  We told the customer that when someone reports there is an issue, we do want to evaluate the property to determine why the seed did not come up, and if it is determined that the seed did not come up due to a fault in the initial seeding we will add additional seeds as needed.  We told him we would put in a free service call to have the aeration and seeding evaluated and the technician would reseed if needed.

      I used this business for 6 years. They have progressively gotten worse. They don't listen to requests, they do not communicate, they're unprofessional (i.e. asking my for a lighter to smoke at my house), and they continue services and billing even after you've canceled. They apparently have massive internal issues that they aren't handling. They couldn't or wouldn't even transfer me to a manager. I guess that's a possibility though when you're poorly ran, customer service is outsourced across the world. There have been several issues along the way that we have looked past, but continuing to constantly reschedule services, not communicate, and then charge me after I already canceled is unacceptable. I am not responsible for paying for Trugreen's internal problems. Trugreen needs to resolve its own provides and invest in quality control and customer care before they face a major lawsuit one day from someone. Again, I canceled my service. Then they came out and sprayed. I then called to verify I wouldn't be charged. I was told I wouldn't be. I was then charged. That's similar to someone being invited into a residence one day just to visit, then being told not to return by the property owner. When the person returns, that could qualify as trespassing. Well, I see no difference in the actions of Trugreen, especially when they went as far as charging my card simply because they retained my info after I canceled my service. I would consider that equivalent to theft and an abuse of sensitive information (banking/credit card info). Trugreen needs to do better.

      A member of the ************** team spoke with this customer on Friday.  The representative did apologize for the issues they had with our customer service department.  Their account is now canceled, and a full refund is currently in process.  It can take 5-7 business days for the refund to process.

I hope that next year I will have **************** that I can show to others. And tell them that trugreen is a company that takes care of their customers. Thanks again Trugreen.

      I hired TruGreen Lawncare to take care and have my grass green and lush, but what they did was the opposite. they killed my grass I believe from putting weed killer down at 90 plus degrees ( WHICH I FOUND OUT LATER) and also the lawn is loaded with weeds. I have been in contact with TruGreen numerous times with no resolve they just keep giving me the runaround by telling me that someone will call but never do . I would never use them again for anything !!!
