      TruGreen has destroyed the lawns in our ************** They will not accept responsibility and were smug enough to send a letter to one of our residents that was signed by three of their "top notch" representatives. You would have to be a moron to ever hire these clowns. They don't even deserve a one-star rating, but its mandatory that you select one to get your review posted here.

      TruGreen killed my lawn! I had a beautiful lawn and wanted to perfect it, so I trusted TruGreen to do the job.Month after month my lawn slowly died, Never looking good and healthy. I kept thinking it would eventually bounce back but never did. My lawn is hideous now. If you want a dead lawn, hire TruGreen.....

      So disappointed! Its like joining a cult. They told me they would treat creepy ******* in between services. I called multiple times over years asking for service and ended up in a national calling system that was trained to delay getting service in other next scheduled application. Tried calling local office and was sent to national call center. Asked to cancel service and finally got someone to come out. Creepy ******* grew back before next service. Called to cancel service twice more and ended up with a specialized teams trained to NOT cancel your service. Tonight I had a local *** stop by our house asking about our service. Told me my service was not cancelled and he didnt have any authority to cancel the service. That I would have to call the national office then endure multiple calls from them and say no to all of them. What the heck?!

      TruGreen ruined my front yard. About a third of it is completely dead. I called their customer support three times and emailed them on 3 or 4 occasions. It was like the movie Groundhog Day, reliving the same nightmare over and over again. I explained that I needed to arrange an appointment with a technician because I wanted to go over my lawn and have someone explain to me why so much of my lawn was dead. A customer support person told be she scheduled it and I would be notified when the person was coming out. That never happened. I called back and said I wanted to speak to a manager. I was told I could not speak to a manager in this fashion, their process is to take a message for me and the manager would call me back. Complete Bullsh*t. When I heard this I knew right away I would never talk to anyone and sure enough no manager ever called me. I can't even believe a company can operate this way and remain in business. It makes me sick to my stomach.

      In review of the active customers complaint, corporate care contacted the customer directly apologizing for the inconvenience caused,confirming the service manager **** ******* met the customer on their lawn,confirming their front lawn was aerated & overseeded to repair the insect damaged areas of the property, confirming they must keep the area watered for best results, full results will not be seen until the spring

      Heres a review that conveys your experience:Ive always been diligent with my yard care, using fertilizer, weed and feed, and treatments for bugs and greening. This year, I decided to try TruGreen based on recommendations from friends and family. Unfortunately, its been the worst my lawn has looked in years. My yard is now overrun with weeds and infested with grubs, which has drawn in animals that are digging up the lawn even more. My family members who used TruGreen this year have had similar experiences. Needless to say, I wont be using this service again or recommending it to anyone. Very disappointed.

      Absolutely destroyed my lawn, and still asking for a payment. Was paying every service, until I saw lawn getting worst, neighborhood even noticed how bad it was getting. Now it's completely destroyed. Going to cost me thousands to get fixed.

      Well I had a bad experience my self but the worst was yesterday . Trying to cancel my Parents serve my Dad had died in September and mom wants it shut off. So talking to ***** in customer retention and she would not let us cancel she tried to sell us a cheaper service the whole time. Then needed to talk to my mother to confirm and was trying to talk her into keeping the service . I will never recommend this service

      We hired TruGreen to plant grass and maintain the yard with fertilizer. The employer and employees are not on the same page. The first guys that came here, trampled through my plants and destroyed most of them. Then fertilized without planting any grass and told us they do NOT plant grass, we called back to the Manager and at that time, they said Yes, we do plant grass, so they sent someone back which did put down grass seed, but grass did not come up. They put down grass seed twice but grass never came up. Each time we called to explain our continually unhappy service, they said they were sorry but never addressed any of our concerns. They charge you in the beginning of the summer for 6 months but then you can not stop the service you can not get your money back either. They have a app that tells you they are on their way to your house, but they do not show up, then the app will say, they just finished fertilizing your property but I was home the entire time watching for them so I could address the issues and no one showed. This went on all summer. The times they were here, they were here less than 5 minutes, just long enough to put a TruGreen flag in the yard and leave. One of the **** stated he would send us a email so we could send photos and write a complaint but they never did this either. They all apologize and all say they are sorry but that does not help us. We asked to be a satisfied customer and they were not willing to make that happen. Please keep in mind, we were not asking for them to plant grass for an entire yard, we are talking about a 10 X 12 foot section, which is still grass less. The fertilizer is still in its original form from when they spread it on the ground, so honestly I dont think the workers know what they are doing. They have not fulfilled any part of our agreement. My lawn looks the exact same way it did in May. The 10 X ************************************************************************************* May. Zero Stars.

The customer was issued a refund on 10/25 and can expect to receive the other refunds in 5 to 7 business days.

      Impossible to reach a manager in order to complain. You have to leave a message with a call centervery annoying! I had a prepaid yearly contract (big mistake!). I was away for the month of August and when I returned my ficus hedge was completely gone from whitefly infestation. I called repeatedly for extra service, which they guarantee is necessary, to no avail. They would put me on a schedule for three or four days later. Meanwhile my hedge kept dying. It will now cost me almost $7000 to replace. What a waste of money! Lack of response was horribleno follow-up to complaints by anyone. Yet the service people would always ask for a glowing reviewwhat a joke!!

      I was contacted by a manager(?) who came out to verify damage to my hedge. I confirmed that I had closed the account. She has offered a refund for the service since I paid a year in advance. Well see if it materializes.
