      Worst company ever. Since I started the service they never ( even once) treated my backyard.. I raised so many complaints without success They **** me for **** sq feet of lawn when I only have less than **** sq feet.I have called , chatted with reps but nothing done so far.I wish I read reviews before signing up for the service

      It was a scam. I was looking for a mowing service. The sales lady confirmed that they have that service. So I asked for extra services. I tried to reach the lady about the mowing service, but she was not answering. I called the 800 number, and the lady on the phone told me they don't have a mowing service. I think the salespeople get a commission from the sale. Since she knew I would not be interested in any other services if they didn't offer to mow, she liedlousy company. My friend from another state had had to experience them too. I should believe him.

      We caught a TruGreen driver trying to steal water from our house today. When we questioned him, he ignored us and drove off. When we called TruGreen to complain, they hung up on us.

      I hate to give a negative review. But their customer service is the WORST. They don't call back. They won't send a representative out to look at your yard. And they lie when they say they will be out on a certain day. Also I bought a pre paid plan I wanted to cancel but I was told I had to wait till the service was done. I called 8/9/2022 to cancel and they tell me I got a **** for aeration and over seed. I did not authorize any extra services that require a payment. Just Finnish up and cancel. The girl on the phone said she couldn't do anything about that, so supposedly she forwarded the issue to someone else. I seriously doubt anyone will call.By the way my lawn looks worse than before their service.

      100% worst customer service in the history of customer service. I have been trying to establish service with them for 2 months. My first call to them was June 11. Today is August 9. I have yet to receive satisfaction. I was promised appointments that never happened, I have placed numerous calls, and can not get them to do what I need, which is simply that I WANT SOMEONE TO COME WALK MY PROPERTY AND COME UP WITH A PLAN. They gladly took $500 for "prepayment" of an aeration treatment, but 5 of the 6 calls I've made in the past 2 weeks, the calls quit. This is not coincidence, this is them avoiding my calls. I expected professional follow up and follow through, and have had NOTHING but frustration, and only ONE service treatment, done by a fellow who didn't even ring the doorbell to make his presence known--did it and left, didn't speak with me, didn't consult about my property, nothing. To add insult to injury, they left a hang-tag on the front door saying they are the #1 lawn care service in America. To that I say: lol, such an ironic joke! I've called 3 times in the past 5 days, asking for someone to come walk the property with me, and they keep saying they will have someone call to schedule that. WHY CAN'T THEY JUST SCHEDULE IT? Meanwhile, no one has made any contact with me to set up this supposed consultation. I'm so done...I think I've given them way more benefit of the doubt than they deserve. Asked for them to connect me to a corporate manager, they put me on hold and the call failed. I called back to get a refund for the $500 refund for the aeration, which they said will be refunded in 5 days. We shall see. Anyway, calling another service now.

      I prepaid for 6 lawn treatments in 2021-$1,000 +I received only 3 of 6 treatments in 2021. Because I paid for 6, I called twice to cancel the service and was told by customer service the remaining treatments would roll over to next year.In 2022, again I received only 1 treatment in spring, 1 treatment in summer and (if math serves me correct) I should have 1 more treatment for fall this year.TruGreen has wiped my previous treatments off the app, off my account, and has served me with an overdue **** for the summer treatment received in ********************* is terrible; I called today, waited to speak to someone and then left a message for the agent to call me back. This was after being prompted to hold, or we can call you back, we can chat about this online- only to be sent to a ******* wireless cell phone voicemail. We will see if I get a return call though I have attempted to call and call and call.Grifters. Scammers.Oh, and our grass looks the same as when we moved in because it never got the treatments it needed- weeds weeds weeds.And the service people keep coming to the door asking us where they are supposed to treat. Front yard means front yard- as opposed to the back.Its literally marked off by 100 foot pine trees.I feel bad for the employees who get no direction who actually do the work. Chaos. Why do they have to make it so difficult???

      I just fired them after several years of taking care of my lawn in the South Suburbs of *******. The service was getting worse each year. The last time I called them, they said they would come out in 3 weeks, which I found to be unacceptable. I contacted them again and asked if a supervisor could come out to see for himself how my lawn was deteriorating under their care. No response. So, I took my business elsewhere and I would state for the record, that this company is not reliable or responsive to the needs of their customers. After I fired them, a responsive company would have called and asked why i fired them and what they could do now to keep me as a customer, no response, I think that says what this company is dedicated too, the almighty dollar and terrible customer service.

      TruGreen has delivered terrible service to me and my lawn on numerous levels. I pre-paid for a full year last Spring and battled with poor service all summer long, calling customer service multiple times to express my displeasure. I have cameras around the exterior of my house and the technicians rarely did much of anything and my lawn was not improving as a result. Multiple times, service was scheduled but then nobody would show. I would call and one time they told me the guy scheduled for my lawn keeps calling out, another time I was charged but had no movement on any of my cameras all day. I was told this time that the technician is new and looks like he serviced the wrong address. Worst of all, I cancelled my service over a month ago, explaining all of the issues and making it very clear I wanted all service cancelled, and was not interested in any discounts. Now, today they showed up to aerate my lawn at the very beginning of August with temps in the 90s, charging me over $200. Again, I called and explained that I had cancelled a month ago and was told that my account was successfully cancelled. Now, my lawn is all tore up from the aeration at a terrible time of the year to do it and I was charged over $200. The customer service rep repeatedly tried to sell me on discounts and partial credits after telling her at the start of the call that I was not interested in hearing any promotions/discounts and had already had that conversation a month ago. It did not deter her and she continued to try to prolong the call, until I told her look, your company sent someone out to tear up my lawn at the wrong time of year, for a service that was not requested, and are trying to fraudulently charge me over $200 for damaging my lawn. The call went on and on with her trying to offer me credits and so on. Ultimately, I was able to get a cancellation confirmation # and was told I would be credited back for the full amount. I have significant doubts about that.

      Truegreen sustains that they have a strict policy about make sure that gates stay closed after service. NOT TRUE. The staff left my gate open(Aug 4th 2022) and my son who is 8 years old , special needs, non verbal , escaped. ********, ********** area.911, police, firemen, ambulance were involved to find him. I haven't received a call from the manager even when I texted him twice. That's their commitment with customers. I want what I payed for future services, back. Absolutely dissapointing.

      I have been a customer of ********************** for many years but their service has really deteriorated. We couldnt get them to come for the aeration and overseeding last year, the fertilization has been disastrousburn spots and weeds. But the biggest issue is with their tick and mosquito protection. We are in August and they havent sprayed since the end of March. After many calls and practically begging I finally got someone out today who informed me after he was done that it was only for mosquitoes, not ticks.and I dont have a service sheet to give you because Im all out. So I dont really know that he did anything. I have cancelled all future service. I do NOT want to pay for this and will never have them again.

      A member of the ************** Team spoke to the customer.  She was mainly upset about the flea and tick service.  At this point they have canceled their service with Trugreen.  The open balance from the last flea/tick service has been credited.
